It's a landmark in Ankara. Disappointingly, this area is under the construction, and it's difficult to take good pictures.

Victory Monument with equestrian Mustafa Kemal Atatürk design by Henrich Krippel. The monument is actually a group of bronze statues. In addition to equestrian Atatürk in the center, there are three more figures; two soldiers and one woman. One soldier is calling his friend to the battlefront and the other one is observing the front. The woman is carrying a cannonball, as a reference to the contributions of the Turkish women during the Turkish War of Independence. The monument was inaugurated on 24 November 1927. It was restored in 2002.

A historic monument in a crowded area in the center of Ankara. Around this statue are a shopping area, bus stops, a museum, and even a university. In case you go to the city center, you should stop by this area as it is packed with places and attractions.

This place is very big, beautiful and glorious. Pine trees can be seen in all their beauty. There is order, tranquility and a beautiful view of the city. The huge sculptures and the view of the courtyard reminded me of ancient Greece.

Every Turkish city has at least one monument to Kemal Ataturk who was a freedom fighter, great reformist and founder of the modern republic. This statue is right in downtown on a busy square, in vicinity of two important sites - the first and second Turkish Parliament. Great photo op and tribute.

I have very nice memories at this place. I like it’s simplicity and publicity of this place you can find any thing you need here and you can see all levels of people also here buying their daily needs things specially food requirements. One more thing I saw it for the first time and I got shocked that I didn’t know about them before which are museums. Am going to attach photos of these museums. One of them is the “ptt” museum which is the “Posta , telegrapg telephone”.

Beautiful monument of Atatürk located in the heart of Ankara in Ulus square. The monument is standing since 1927 and it’s designed by the Austrian sculptor Heinrich Krippel. (who also designed numerous other monuments of Atatürk across the country)

The Atatürk Monument, located in Ulus Square in Ankara, is a statue that honors the hero and first President of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The statue was completed in 1928 and depicts Atatürk's likeness. The statue was designed as a monument surrounded by four columns, featuring a bronze figure that stands at a height of 9 meters. The figure is seen as a symbol of the Nationalism movement led by Atatürk and reflects the respect and love of the Turkish people. The statue also expresses the respect of the Turkish Republic for its independence, strong leadership, and historical past. Over time, the statue has been restored several times and is still a tourist attraction visited by the Turkish people. Visitors have the opportunity to see the Atatürk Monument and also discover the beauty of Ulus Square in Ankara. The square is a perfect place for tourists who want to learn about Turkish history and culture. The Atatürk Monument is an important part of Turkey's historical and cultural heritage and is a place to be seen by tourists to show the respect and love of the Turkish people. I recommend visiting Ulus Square to pay homage to the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, hero of the Turkish people.
