This is a lovely botanical garden and is one of the minor attractions to visit in Amiens. It is twenty minutes from the centre and slightly hidden away. The garden has various types of plants and flowers that are clearly labelled. There is a fountain as a centrepiece that is surrounded by benches to take in the natural surroundings. It is not covered, so it can be very hot on warm days. There is a centre next to it and you will see the happy workers passing by. There is no place to buy refreshments in the garden, so it is worth bringing some if coming to visit on a warm day. A nice gentle time to relax in Amien can be had in the garden.

Very well kept gardens. Free to wander. Hoped there would be some toilets but there wasn’t.

Basically a big heavily coiffured garden with a huge variety of plants. Free and open to the public mainly. Worth a wander round in good weather.

Relatively small but cosy and educational garden, to rest in yet another green area in Amiens.

Interesting historical background narrated by the guide with a variety of local plants to observe. The gardens are in need of upkeep to make them more appealing to tourists.

Botanisch uninteressant!
