The food was basic but good - we were hoping for something a bit more interesting. It was very affordable. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and the overall ambience was comfy and inviting even though it was crowded.

Lovely lunchtime dining experience at Bouillon Croix-Rousse. Attentative and friendly staff, and fresh and tasty food at a reasonable price. Quiche Lorraine was buttery and smooth and the Croque-Monsieur was packed full and a nice crisp on the edges

I had dinner at this place, the food was amazing. We ordered escargots and eggs and mayo as entrees. As main dish we tried the chicken, fish and beef tartare, and finally creme brûlée for dessert. Everything tasted so good 🤤 a nice place to have a Lyonnaise lunch or dinner. Also, there’s a beautiful view a block from the restaurant where you can watch the city from above.
