My partner and I came here a bit sceptical because of some reviews, but we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The receptionist was calm, collected, and very friendly and informative. We were instructed well and could easily find all of the different amenities. They have two sauna rooms, one hotter than the other (so you don't have those people constantly changing the temperature and ruining everyone else's experience). You're eased into the nude aspect, being clothed up to the showers and the sauna facilities, but you walk around with a robe and can rent one if you didn't bring one. The cold plunge pool is refreshing and well kept, clean. The steam room was okay - it wasn't as hot as I've experienced, and it's the brightest one I've ever been in. All other facilities are dark and peaceful but the steam room is a bit of a jerk to some because of the lights. The infrared units are pleasant, though maybe needs a bit of care. Some scorched wood visible, and unfortunately there are a lot of people who use it and it makes you sweat. People not sitting on a towel at least, means that it has an unpleasant odour, which isn't covered up by the diffusers. The only negative thing which really brings the experience down, is men loudly clearing their airways into public spaces. Particularly when you're there to feel cleansed, having someone repeatedly spitting phlegm from their throat and nose into the showers should be banned. The high end vibe is instantly destroyed by this, and I don't need to step on or have specs of spit ricochet and touch me. Though it is not a fault of the sauna, and you'll only experience this on days where you have a neanderthal there too, I think the sauna needs to set a code of conduct and make sure people know that vile behaviour is just not permitted in public places. Beautiful decor, and amenities are good quality, spacious, and well kept. Overall, great visit. Definitely will try again

Sauna in the middle of the Amsterdam city center. Deco/baroque style . It seems that is dated from long time ago. Nice secret gem. I missed whirlpool, but ok it’s sauna place. Stuff is really pleasant. Minus: is super old bathrobe and towels. You need to rent out them and pay additional, I would expect at least to be in good condition. I will come back but take all stuff with me. You can have a lunch there too.

Asian female first experiencing European style Sauna. The architecture alone is worth visiting , facility and service are up to standard. No swim suit, but can wear a towel when walking around & relaxing. People there are generously very nice , I like it when people secretly checks on me, then immediately moved eyes away when we made eye contacts , too rush can’t even put a smiling face — Shy Europeans. Will go back with towel&robe.

A hidden gem alongside canal. Visited today with my wife for a relaxing day in spa. Art deco details are amazing, the ambient atmosphere really helps you unwind after day of sightseeing Amsterdam. Inside you will find a steam room, two dry saunas, two infrared rooms, cold plunge pool, showers and plenty of rest areas. All amenities are clean, mini bar well stocked, also you can get a small brunch if get hungry. As for the quests, it wasn't overcrowded at all. We found mixed sex clientele of all ages. Be aware it is a nude spa, no swimming suits allowed. Overall were pleasant place, on our return list. A hint, take your hotel robe and towel with you when visiting. No photos allowed!

The decor is impressive but the place is getting a little older. Was looking forward to hopping in a jacuzzi but couldn’t seem to find one. Rented bathrobes which I think were used by others before without being washed.

Sauna Deco was a great experience. When we were planning for Europe and Amsterdam, I was checking out on what probably can be unique experiences... Sauna Deco caught my eye. We had pre-booked the timeslots. Once we walked in, we were explained in detail about what to expect and led to the changing room. The changing room had lockers to put in your clothes and shoes.... And walk out in the buff. We walked out to the shower area... That's the only hot shower that one can have at this mix gender nude spa. We used 2 of the sauna rooms and a steam room as well. The steam room smelled amazingly good with Eucalyptus. We kept moving in the sauna room and move in to pool with ice cold water and back. It was a fabulous experience. You shiver for the first minute every time you get in to the pool and then you start feeling great. There were mostly local individuals... Could decipher from some of the things they would be doing... The pool had jacuzzi as well with water jetting at a high speed. The rush of water felt amazing against the naked skin. We also enjoyed sipping coffee in the open area under the blue sky and amongst the birds chirping away. The spa is visited by both men and women... The ratio was 7:3 during our stay. It was a lovely couple of hours spent in this amazing mix gender nude spa. If I go back to Amsterdam again, this place will surely be on my visit plan. 😍😍😍

Cozy little spa in Amsterdam ,they have : (It's a naked sauna) a steam sauna, 2 dry saunas, a cold pool (1.5m depth), infrared room for 2 persons little wells for washing your feet massage tables if you want one quiet little places where you can relax and read a book Recommend it fully.

We had the most wonderful experience in this beautiful sauna! The decor is gorgeous, they have all amenities you need, and it's not crowded, which is amazing! Big thank you to Marta for an excellent massage, we feel like completely new people😁

One of my favorite sauna ever. It's really clean, it's beautiful (pictures don't do justice to the place), the massage are really great (thanks Simone), the hottest sauna are hot enough and the rest of the place is as you would like it. Not living here but will definitely come back. Thanks a lot

Fantastic staff. Just left here with my three mates while we travel. The staff were very accommodating and patient when explaining the sauna policies. The facilities here are amazing and it literally felt like we entered another era due to the atmosphere, decoration and lack of phones. Paradise. Left feeling a great buzz which was a treat. Highly recommend for tourists and those with low sauna tolerance.

Great overall experience! Staff (Coco) was incredibly helpful and ensured I would have a good time. Loved that everyone was naked and comfortable. Only downsides are that it got a little crowded toward the end of my visit (8pm), no jacuzzi, and the IR sauna booths could be more clean (odor). Highly recommended and I will be back for sure.

This is one of the most beautiful spas I’ve seen in Amsterdam. Great service and all the amenities you need. Be mindful if you’re from out of town, it’s a nude co-ed environment.

Clean, calm, friendly! No hot tubs, but for the true Sauna (and steam bath) entusiast this place is just right! The enterior gives a certain luxurious vibe to your relaxation Reserve in advance; especially If you wnat to go during the weekend. Entry is on the rather expensive side, but the beverages in side are very cheap and tasty - so this makes up for it, especially If you are staying for several hours.

I give 5 stars for the overall experience. The facilities are a bit dated and some areas could use a facelift. But for what it is and for the cost, I would definitely give it 5 stars. I definitely recommend going when it’s not busy. I could see how when busy it will decrease the quality of the experience. I would come here again.

Fabulous sauna in the centre of the city. I visited a couple of times in my recent vacation to Amsterdam, both times I went around midday and was fairly quiet I could imagine as the day goes on the busier it becomes, there are two saunas and a steam room, lovely warm showers and footbaths and an extremely cold plunge pool. Snacks & cold drinks are available.To cut the cost down you can take in your own towels robes and slippers. Be aware everything is mixed and totally nude while using the facilities, but nobody bothers it`s just away of life to the locals, finally the staff are very pleasant and helpful, in all it`s a place I would recommend to spend 2/3 hours of your day.

Wonderful little Sauna with an incredible atmosphere. It feels like entering a different century. Very clean, quiet and great for relaxing.

This is a hidden gem. The sauna is cozy but you have all the space you need. Staff are friendly and polite. They greet with a smiling face and explain to you properly the amenities and etiquette inside the spa. It was my first time to experience this and my overall experience was amazing. I highly recommend this place.

This Spa was an incredible spot to get away to after a great day of sightseeing. It looked to be visited by locals and gest alike. The staf were helpful and direct. The had a cafe area for snacks and everything you need to enjoy is available for rent or purchase. Sauna Deco is worth visiting for the reclaimed(from Paris) Art Deco example Decor alone. It is an incredible example of Art Deco elegance. Be aware that this is a mixed gender non swimwear Spa. If you are not used to it, know that this is a excellent Spa and you will feel totally comfortable here if you want to try. Enjoy.

The best sauna/ SPA place in Europe , i came here with my sister and friends 3 months ago and here i am visiting amsterdam again in the winter because of Sauna Deco experience! Madam CoCo is such a nice person and taking good care of the place and its rules . 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Great place to relax and unwind. If you like reading, I recommend bringing a book or your favorite magazine. The decor is splendid so it's worth lounging around for a few hours.

Been at Deco last week. One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. Staff really helpful and polite, everything clean in general and a good mix of people. My only problem is that I rent bathrobe, and it was mixed twice, somebody got mine and left his, so I had to deal with this, but its not an issue of the sauna deco. NB everybody is naked, at all places, both men and women. From changing room to saunas and showers, all rooms are mixed nude. Sounds scary but it only takes a minute or two to get used to it. If you are searching for something more, please do not bother coming. You will be escorted out in a minute. Just the perfect place for relaxation, cant wait to come back.
