Gezellig! Very cozy. This bar has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. You feel like this is the bar you've always gone to, even if it is your first time. Prices are okay. And there are tons of restaurants around. If you walk from centraal you'll see parts put Amsterdam that are a little more quiet than the Dam Sq. which is refreshing

Typical Dutch bar right infront of Artis tram line, hence, very accessible. There is really nothing extra ordinary special about the place but it's not bad either. I would say normal. The staff are very nice and then place is clean and well maintained. Been here a couple of times and I like it, it's simple. Although if you are looking for a place where younger people are, this might not be the right vibe since most of the people here are like seniors and grannies but that's alright, it's even more peaceful and chill.

Nice pub with a regular interior and their lovely cat. They don't have cocktails, just to drink beer and wine. I would like to go there again, stuff is nice.

On tour for a Japanese TV company we are staying around the corner... This has become our local pub.. Off the tourist trail this is a locals boozer & we have been welcomed in with open arms... Great staff & good food this is our go to bar to relax.. Thank you for a super service and friendly atmosphere..

Great spot for meeting friends and grabbing a drink. I was also very impressed with the bitterballen and the opportunity to play chess!

Solid pub, feels pretty local. Very friendly wait staff who also took a little time to guide me through local beer selections. Will definitely return and try the food.

Was staying just down the road from here and came in every day. Lots of beers and great snacks. Bar staff really great and the atmosphere was very friendly. Chatted with a few locals. Recommended!

Brilliant little shop great for sandwiches/ cakes and coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice price too for good fresh ingredients. For once in Amsterdam it doesn't feel like you're getting ripped off.

A beautiful ‘classic’ Dutch bar. The beer selection is good, the staff very nice and helpful. Also pricing wise it's pretty good for Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to have a nice chat over a beer with your friends. P.S. -The bar cat is very cute

Simple pub, when I visited the place was populated mostly by young students, many of them foreigners and few old local guys. The place is a bit noisy as a pub should be. Service was fine. Place to drink a beer! All the rest is pretty standard.

A very old stylish cafe, nothing special is what makes it such a special place. Great atmosphere, only relaxed people (and not too many hipsters) No or hardly any music, so just your company, you and a beer ;)
