Decor is great and, due to covid, they were able to take over a few parking spots next to the canal and create very nice canal side seating. However, the actual food was dissapointing. The "English muffin" that came with breakfast looked like a low quality hamburger bun... and was stale. :(

The food is nice but they cooking took quite some time. Clams are excellent. Lobster is average. The draft beer worth trying it. A small local bistro with alcoholic drinks served. Nice ambience and helpful servers. Please ask for a menu in English. We did mean to come for mussels bit unfortunately, they are not in season yet ...

Been here for breakfast at 0900. The place is very nice especially if you find a spot outside on a sunny day. There is no high chair, be prepared for that. We ordered pastrami sandwiches and eggs florentine for 2 adults and a baby. It was quite enough Coffee is quite tasty as well.

I've eaten here several times since they opened and the food is always really good. Fresh, great quality, tasty. Lovely specials of the day for every taste (meat, fish, vegetarian). Very kind and quick service too. Good choice of specialty beers.

Nice location and chill. Visited the place after work for a couple of beers, sat right next to the canal! Ordered some snacks calamari and fries, all was very nice.

This place is also one of my hidden gems. The large open industrial space feels very retro and vintage. Apparently it used to be an automobile repair shop, which was converted into this awesome city cafe/gastropub. It’s really cosy and it looks and feels very authentic. The crew is friendly and attentive. It’s a great place to get some quality food and nice drinks! We both had the “MINI GARNALENKROKETJES - van Oma Bobs met toast en gefrituurde peterselie” (mini shrimp croquettes - made by Oma Bobs with toast and fried parsley). For dessert we shared a really creamy and luscious crème brûlée. Delicious and highly recommended! Overall a pleasant expierence and definitely worth a return visit!

An absolutely brilliant place to spend an evening. Fantastic service, great drink options coupled with some mouth watering food. Ambience: (5/5) Has seating both indoors and outdoors. The team is very good with adhering to Covid regulations. The outdoor seating is my favourite as there is a view of the canal. It’s a cozy and relaxed place overall. Large tables for bigger groups seem to be available as well. Food & Drink: (5/5) I haven’t had the chance to order too much here, but from what I have eaten, I absolutely love it. The food looks great and tastes even better. Good selection of food with a varied menu for day time and evening. Service: (6/5) Yes, I would give the service a 6 just because the staff are all super friendly and constantly checking up on whether anything is needed. Absolutely loved it! Given that Amsterdam on general doesn’t have the best service, this was a breath a fresh air. A big shout out to Jard who was so good at suggesting beers I should try. Loved the fact that his knowledge on beers helped me to select some good ones to try. Summary: (5/5) This has officially become one of my favourite places. Just the overall vibe and great service make this place a great option to try. Do make a reservation ahead of time as it does get booked out. Highly highly recommended.

We ordered croquette. They tasted great and the fríes were also home-made and were crispy and tasty. Service was kind and fast. Location was good.

One of my favourite pubs in the neighbourhood. Venue is spacious and cozy. The service is always excellent, thanks to a friendly, competent staff. The borrel snacks are excellent. The dinner dishes are good but not amazing. Still, great place overall for a drink, borrel or casual dinner.

Food was really good, although some of the dished we took (Eggs Benedict, Blue Cheese Salad) were a bit too small. Nice atmosphere!

Great space, industrial decor, homely food. Staff is professional though not super warm. You'll live :) having Pad Thai and enjoying it. €14.50 is a bit pricey but the portion is alright.

Really nice place. It doesn't take bookings for small tables so if you have no plans and just want to chance your luck try here! Food is very good. Fairly priced. And for the most part traditional, good cooking. Not exceedingly fancy, does what it says on the tin and does it really well. Great location too, great setting and lovely evening.

Just looking at the pictures already makes me happy. Went here a couple of times while living in this neighborhood. The location is great, next to the water and the food tastes good as well! Service was very good. Would recommend it for sure.

Was walking by, saw the sign VERSE oliebollen! Why not help this place out as they are only open for take away. So I came in and ordered some oliebollen, and asked how long I had to wait. I was told that I don't need to wait and that they are ready. So I asked when they were prepared, she said "this morning", this was at 5PM. Apparently Fresh to these people means cooked this morning.

It was quiet when we were here, only a few tables were taken. I like the place and I'll return for the atmosphere when it is more busy. Not 5 stars because even though it was a good hour before closing time, waiters started to stack chairs around us and when we left they locked the door behind us before we even left the porch. That in combination with the lack of attention made me feel a bit unwelcome.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We asked for the special of the day and our waiter kindly explained it to us because it wasn't on the ebglish menu. It was really delicious.

Our favorite place in Amsterdam. Price / quality wise it is perfect. Very good food and service. Cosy atmosphere. Would be great if they had high chairs for the kids.

Just popped in here for a drink whilst my out on a walk with my wife. Was a lovely place, the lasy that served us was really nice and it was a great place for a drink whilst we were out explotthe city. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. Absolutely loved the aesthetic of the place, and a great choice of beers.
