Went for monday d&b and techno tuesday. I would recommend to arrive early on techno tuesday if you dont want to wait too long to get in. It was not hot inside which i appreciated a lot! Staff is super friendly. 2euros for locker no fees for bathroom.

An awesome concert venue, line at the entrance moves quick because multiple people check tickets and then further another person stamps the entry so it doesn't slow down. Good ventilation system so that even while jumping, dancing and singing you are not out of air. And pretty damn good sound so kudos to technicians.

This was not my first visit to Melkweg; I had previously attended a concert of one of my favorite bands there. Unfortunately, the tickets were sold out beyond capacity, making it impossible to move comfortably within the venue. Melkweg is one of the coolest clubs I have ever been to in Amsterdam. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and excitement of the place. I went to see Punk Rock Factory on friday! Awesome atmosphere, no queue because I think this was a smaller hall compared to the others they have and I was early to catch the opening acts as well. I forgot to bring any ear protection and the barstaff was so kind to provide me with some basic earplugs. Locker system worked perfectly, and there were plenty to go around.

My first time today. Concert HVOB was fantastic. Sound is great and really good. The lockers look small but they aren't. Security and staff is really nice too. The bar and drinks is quite fast and good. Enough to chose from even if you don't drink alcohol like me.

The Melkweg has never disappointed me ever! I come here at least once a month every year! Nice artists, beautiful halls and very kind staff! Even when waiting outside I always meet some other fans of an artist I'm queueing for to waste the waiting time and we even get to hang out most of the time before and during the show. The only downside is that it can get very hot inside, mostly during the summer, but the staff mostly will provide bottles of water during the show! Small but definitely a cozy venue…. Lockers are available at entrance. Staff is very friendly and fun to the point where lots of people want to follow the staff from Melkweg on social media as well. I always have a fun time whenever I have a concert at Melkweg so I would for sure recommend!

Cracking venue, great sound, lots of lockers for your belongings. Nice high stage so good view all round. If you're at front you might get a sore neck but at least you'll get a good view up the performers trouser leg. 😉

I was here to see Russ Millions. It was a nice place to give a live performance. There were some places to drink. If you need earbuds because you can't really stand the noise. You can buy them. The venue has a membership fee which is annoying. Acoustics are great but the staff always seems annoyed and angry. Ventilation is not great either shows with lots of movement are going to be very hot so better dress lightly. The venue is however in a rather lovely part of Amsterdam.

Good New Year’s Eve party! We were given free champagne and staff were quite nice. But I think it’s ridiculous to pay 3€ to go to the bathroom during the whole night even though it’s not even clean. And also, it’s a very straight party (and venue in general) so I would definitely not recommend it if you’re gay, you may feel uncomfortable.

I've been there twice in different halls for concerts and I really enjoyed it. It's not too packed, there's easy access to drinks, good space for merch stands, and most importantly - a nice clean toilet, which is a great asset to any venues.

I went to see an amazing show today of Alejandra Ortiz. She is also her own exhibition for the next week entitled "PINK LIMBO" about being an undocumented refugee in the Netherlands. Truly amazing photography and text. The rest of the show runs for a few months.

Techno Tuesdays are amazing. I have been several times now and always have a great time. Meet great people and have a blast. Great venue also has a smoking room. Highly recommend if your not busy on Tuesdays to go have fun. Also I hear cheeky Monday’s is another good day to go to Melkweg really good vibes and some drum and bass music. Have fun. 😀

Went to Arizona concert here! Melkweg is an amazing place; the concert hall was small but could easily fit around 150 people. And the lighting was gorgeous!
