The architecture of this building is absolutely amazing: the columns, the carvings on the white façade, the inside… It truly is a beautiful place to visit and take some pictures, specially if you go inside. If you can’t or won’t go inside at least I recommend taking some pictures of the building from outside, specially at night.

Attending a concert at Concertgebouw was an absolute delight. The venue's timeless elegance and acoustics create a magical atmosphere that enhances the music in ways that words can't capture. From the moment I stepped into the hall, I knew I was in for something special. The architecture alone is a work of art, and it sets the stage for an extraordinary evening of music. The performances I've witnessed here have been nothing short of breathtaking. Whether it's a classical symphony, a contemporary ensemble, or a solo recital, Concertgebouw consistently delivers exceptional musical experiences. The staff is courteous and professional, and the overall ambiance exudes a sense of reverence for the art of music. If you have the opportunity, attending a concert at Concertgebouw is an absolute must for any music lover. It's an experience that will stay with you long after the final notes have faded away.

We went there to attend a classical concert to fund raise families affected by the Ukrainian war. We'd bought our tickets in advance online (highly recommended) and turned up 30 minutes prior to the show. As expected, it was packed and we had to wait 15-20 minutes to get to our seats. The queue itself was confusing (we couldn't figure out where it ended so we could also join it), the signage wasn't easily readable so we asked the staff for help and they very quickly solved our problem. The concert hall itself is beautiful and acoustics really good. Even though we were sitting at one of the last rows, we could hear notes very clearly and enjoy the performance. Overall, really good venue, I'd recommend.

Concertgebouw in Amsterdam is a musical haven where elegance meets exceptional acoustics! 🎶🏰 The iconic concert hall, with its neoclassical façade, stands as a testament to the city's cultural richness. Inside, the sumptuous decor sets the stage for unforgettable performances. From classical masterpieces to contemporary delights, Concertgebouw resonates with the harmonies that define Amsterdam's cultural heartbeat. Absolutely fantastic experience in one of the most famous concert halls in the world. Even if you are not familiar with the music played in the concert, I would highly recommend to go there because the sound and atmosphere is completely different from the sound from electronic devices. If you are a fan of music and have a chance to visit Amsterdam, why not spend a few hours here!? The ticket includes refreshments before and between concerts.

Our visit to the concert hall was not for the first time. We had attended a concert in the small hall. Beautiful acoustic space. A bit cramped, but it's manageable. During the intermission, you can enjoy a nice drink.

The place is amazingly well preserved, and the concert we attended was delightful. We could enjoy the tasteful drinks offered during the break and we explored the other rooms around the main concert hall. Very recommended to visit if there's a chance during your stay in Amsterdam

The concert hall amazes with its comfort and acoustics. Super location, multiple entrances, convenient wardrobe and buffet included in the ticket. The cheapest seats in the hall are no less beautiful than the expensive ones. You will see everything and enjoy the concert, even if you buy tickets at the lowest price. Pictures, style, atmosphere - everything to come back here. Ideal place!

I had a pleasure to experience going back in time with Mozart, Beethoven and Schumann beautifully performed by Luka Okros (in a small room)- it was absolutely macigal experience in a stunning opera looking like building with moderns twicks. The view is good regardless of the seat I believe, we sat in 7th row on the right side and it was perfectly fine. A must if you enjoy piano concerts! :)

One of the most beautiful concert halls in the world, built over 100 years ago. It has phenomenal acoustics and houses one of the best orchestras in the world the Concertgebouw Orchestra.

This hall is the most tantalizing place I've been able to play in. The stage is unique and so is the atmosphere: there are plaques labeled with the names of composers and conductors, which gives a sense of rapture sensation to the one that beholds them.

Beautiful architecture and interior of this building. I was listening to the pianist, the piano Stainway and sons sounded amazing! They staff is professional and polite. Thank you, I will definitely come back again!

High quality concerts with world-renowned artists. It’s a fantastic hall with superb acoustics, fair ticket prices and complimentary drinks (except champagne) before the concert as well as during the interval. The only drawback would be the toilet and foyer situation. Due to the hall being a historical building those areas are quite small and get crowded.

I had a great time enjoying Hilary Hahn's Dřovák violin concerto in this concert hall yesterday afternoon. The hall was packed. The sound quality is way better than the one in Brussels. I look forward to returning here some day.

A building with grandeur. Satisfactory acoustics. But those cheaper seats on the sides close to the stage are problematic. Viewing angle is too big. You will get a sprain in your neck after the concert.

Great place, great musicians. The free lunchtime concerts on a Wednesday are great and most times you don’t need a ticket.

Very nice acoustics. I was seated at the orchestra, but I think it would have been better if I sat in the balcony section or the side balcony.

Visited the performance of the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra lead by Lorenzo Viotti. What a magnificent performance. It was fun, bombastic, beautiful and jazzy all rolled into one. Magical atmosphere and perfectly organised which every person knows is key for a memorable evening. Loved it 🎶♥️🎵

Not only is this a magnificent concert hall at the Museum Park in the heart of Amsterdam but it is also the centre of the highest quality music performances in the world. Legendary orchestra, conductors, singers have performed here and the recording testifies the significance and importance of this concert hall

A beautiful building that I was only able to see from the place, but was definitely a highlight of my stay there. Architecturally, it's magnificent, and it's well located, easily accessible by public transport.

Something different seen in the ‘Grote Zaal’ amplified concert of Ibrahim Maalouf. Great concert with lots of energy and beautiful music! Some tracks unfortunately way too loud. This hall is build to hear the smallest detail of a symphonic orchestra without amplification. If you add a line-array there’s huge risk of overkill. This was the case with Maalouf’s performance. Would have chosen for small amplification of the drum and electric guitars on stage only. Would have let the trumpet’s play unplugged. Nevertheless great evening in a great atmosphere. Always nice to come here!

An amazing house. It’s no wonder it is so well regarded internationally. There’s always something happening there, but at the same time, always high quality. It’s wonderful how they manage it, often with international stars or the equally flabbergasting national talent such as the great Rotterdams Philharmonisch. I have to add that the wine during the pause is always appreciated. If you haven’t, go visit!
