Best cocktail I've ever had, Bar Mokum has officially won me over. This place has amazing service( before you order they give you nuts and water.), The bartenders are very nice and helped me finally find a cocktail I enjoyed(I've gone to a couple of other places but have yet to have something I liked). Although you have to wait a bit for the cocktail, it wasn't too long and it was well worth the wait. This is a must visit for me if I ever come back to Amsterdam. Place has a lovely atmosphere, does not feel too crowded, good music and an excellent vibe.

Great speakeasy bar. The cocktail selection is not too large, but it has many unique and delicious cocktails. It's also on the more expensive side (€14 every cocktail), but honestly the drinks are high quality and the vibe is awesome. Great service too, so I definitely recommend visiting this one out, for at least a drink.

One of the best bars in Amsterdam, de pijp area. It’s located in a hidden underground area. The decoration and ambiance is super well played to make the underground looks cozy and new. Cocktails were super delicious, the bartender is flexible to twist or make any cocktail of your choice. Service is excellent, super friendly staff and always passing to give you water.

I’ve officially documented their “Rouwdouwer” as the best drink I’ve ever had in my life. I took a screenshot and all. The vibes are awesome, the service super friendly, and they give you yummy nuts and olives for fee. And somehow it’s still reasonably priced (€12.50 per drink). Grab your friend, a stranger, or your lamest family member, or your latest novel and head over to this spot. You won’t regret coming here.

Really nice experience overall! The bartender was awesome and extremely helpful. We did have to wait around 30 minutes to find a table, for a party of 3, but it is understandable as it was Friday night around 10 o'clock. The atmosphere was amazing and we really enjoyed our drinks.

Great cocktail, ambience and service! Leroy (owner) can pretty much make anything off the menu if you can suggest a liquor/palette you like! And their espresso style martini is a solid one to end your night with! All in all great experience and a must visit if you’re into craft cocktails!

This was my kind of place, can't say enough good things about this bar. It's hidden down some stairs behind a practically blank door, so use the street numbers to find your way. All of the cocktails that I had were amazing. They have their own takes on some classics but can also whip you up anything that comes to mind. Also all cocktails are 14 Euro which I just found refreshing and easy going. The vibe is cool and relaxed, it can feel like an intimate date spot or even a neighborhood pub depending on what you are looking for. The bar tenders are friendly, welcoming, and know their stuff. And most importantly it's not too loud, it's just right in so many ways. I went twice on my visit and wish I would have gone more.

We had such a great time. We did arrive on Saturday night just around midnight and place was buzzing so had to wait for 10-15 minutes but we were comfortably seated by the bar. Staff and service is so nice and homely, everyone’s really down to earth. Place is got an experience vibe also - very quirky and quaint. Our barman Jason made us some great Martinis and Dark & Stormies. He’s just a chill guy to chat with whilst he’s making up some cocktails for the whole bar 🤯 This place won’t leave you unsatisfied.

If I want any well-made cocktail in Amsterdam, Bar Mokum is my go-to place. The staff is always kind and makes sure you'll get a cocktail to your liking. They have signature cocktails in their menu, but you're always welcome to order the classics. I recommend making a reservation before going, so you can sit in a cozy nook or on a sofa. :)

This is a very cool speakeasy bar in a great neighbourhood in Amsterdam. The cocktails are not cheap, at 14€ a pop, but they are well worth it! Both of our cocktails were boozy and extremely tasty. The Mai Thai style one, served in a cute monkey cup, was absolutely delicious and seemed to never end. Personally, I loved the old fashioned style cocktail, which features smoked peat, and is served to you in a wooden box which, upon opening, smoke billows out. It embues the cocktail with a beautiful smokiness. I’m just sad I didn’t know it was coming, otherwise I would have got it in video.

By far one of the best cocktail bars in the Netherlands! The staff is amazing and the ambiance makes it a great experience! But most importantly, the cocktails are seriously one of the best. When you describe what you like, they make something special for you and also remember what it was even when its super busy. Will definitely come back to this place🙌

One of the best bars i have been to. They advised for drinks based on our preferences and each drinks was spot on. On the first look at the menu the drinks might seem a little pricey but for such high quality drinks its perfectly balanced. For overall hospitality, ambiance, and drinks I would give 6 stars out of 5. Definitely going back again

I've been to this bar a few times now. The drinks had always been very good. Fortunately for me, we never really had to wait for too long. I think longest was 15 minutes? My experiences here has always been positive. The bar is in the basement, ambiance is great, you can still talk to each other without being disturbed too much with what's going on around you. I think it would be a great place for first date too 😎 Will keep going here ^^ I think my 3rd time here, the Gina and tonic tasted weird and we spoke to the waiter. Bartender came over and tried it himself and said this is now how it should taste like and made me a new one! Again, good experiences. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff, but cocktails were not outstanding. Also, if it’s summer and sun goes down late, the sunlight makes the whole place feel like a coffee bar. However, if you’re seated in the back (red light area) the ambiance is great.

Celebrated my birthday there. One word: perfect. The owner is so friendly and lovely on the one hand, on the other hand he is a genius. Each of us had two cocktails and felt like 'oh my God so THAT'S a cocktail. Everything til that day was nothing like that. Amazing. And the nuts and olives - yummi. Go there and have a great time.
