I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out under anesthesia, and had to wait two months before I could be helped with that, which i gladly waited out but last week I was in the OLVG and I was left alone and had to wait for five hours with extreme panic and no medication and after five hours the doctor came in and said they had no more time for me and to come back at a later date. They then rescheduled me for a month and a half later, while i was already in excruciating pain with no prescriptions. A few days later one of the wisdom teeth broke off, and I called the OLVG. After 30 minutes of trying to call them they basically told me they were busy and couldn't help me. We then proceeded to call another hospital in Amsterdam and were helped within 30 minutes. - Robin

The service at the clinic was friendly. They found a possible cause for my teeth pain and fixed it without any guarantee of improvement. I requested to be given pain killers for a guarantee of at least not suffering pain; they refused. After the anestesia was gone a pain even worse than before kicked in. I called the hotline and after trying to request a possible solution they VERY RUDELY asked us to stick to the miraculous Paracetamol. We tried in 2 more attemps to express to the that I was having headache, fever and that I puked the medicine. The hot line just told us rudely and with 0 emphaty that "take paracetamol" and that is just teeth pain, no issues. We fully understood the treatment of the hotline, not the rudness and lack of emphaty. I come from Spain and there we have a drug called pain killer that in responsible dosage helps people not getting crazy from pain. Conclusion: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Bettet go to Mondzorg Poli. Went today, MUCH MORE professional treatment.

On the 14th of December, past midnight, I had an accident and broke one from my teeth from the gum line. I walked to the OLVG (Oost) where they told me to call the emergency dentist and so I did. The dentist said that this was not an emergency and did not come. I had to sleep with a broken tooth and eventually I lost my tooth. Surprisingly, on their website, a broken tooth is considered a Critical emergency treatment.

terrible. i explained that the bracket of my braces came off and if it was possible to put it back on. they said yes. came got it done by someone who told me was not an orthodontist but that he knows how to do it; it also took him long. paid 47 euros and it came off again 2 weeks later. called for them to do it again since THEY DID NOT DO IT RIGHT. kept telling me i can get reimbursed by my insurance. now i have to go elsewhere pay AGAIN for the same problem. if your employee does not know how to do it, then don't say that you are able to do it. wish i could give 0 stars.

I had a tremendous pain, all my mouth was burning. Calling these characters past midnight caused me another pain. I was rejected, they wouldn't accept me. The guy on the phone told me that since I lived in Almere and my dentist was located there I was supposed to get help from them. I explained that there was no dentist available in my city during the night, as I had called Mondzorg Poli earlier and got that information. Well, the guy just emphasized there was nothing theh could do for me, because my dentist doesn't have a contract with them. Further he advised me to simply wait until the morning and wished me good luck with my dentist. Very sad that contracts and business come before the patient. Also sad that obviously my money didn't seem good enough for them. But the worst thing is that they are publicly lying how they are there to help 24/7 in cases of emergency. It's simply not true!

My front tooth fell off and the emergency dentists helped me out with the temporary solution really quick. They were very comforting. Thank you very much!

Quick appointment, the dentists were very professional and friendly, and my problem was taken care of in record time! I'll have to get a long-term fix at my own dentist, but they won't have time for another week or two. Really impressed with their knowledge and communication about my issue. Had a slight issue with a wire from my braces which came loose. Luckily I was able to receive the required attention immediately upon arriving at the hospital on what was a national holiday. Impressed with the staff's service, both the dentist and assistant were very kind and helpful. I must have been in and out within 15minutes. Definitely recommend if you are in the area seeking rapid attention.

Had a tooth with caries and it broke apart one evening. The next afternoon I called this clinic and they got me an appointment the same evening and tried their best to save the teeth. Everyone was really nice and caring. Highly recommend!

Fast appointment, professional reparation, good and friendly staff. Good information. Really well fixed. A piece of my tooth broke off, but this fix was definately above standard.

We visited with our 4 year old son to check a tooth after a playground accident. The dentist we saw made such a huge effort to make my son feel comfortable while she did her checks. She was very helpful and provided us with information and an action plan. It was easy to make an appointment and I was also offered helpful advice over the phone. If you need advice or emergency dental help, I would definitely recommend reaching out!

I need to express my profound dismay and dissatisfaction with the treatment that my daughter received at your medical facility. Our daughter was experiencing excruciating pain and was fainting, at 10.30 in the evening, yet she was refused immediate attention and was advised to ‘take paracetamol….’ The response we received on the phone was appalling, with the medical staff stating that they only attend to patients who cannot breathe anymore. (!!) Even the staff at SEH in OLVG attempted to convince the emergency dentist to see her, but to no avail. We find it unacceptable and disheartening that such callous disregard for human life and suffering exists within the healthcare system. The lack of empathy displayed by your medical team is deplorable. Our daughter was left to suffer in agony and had to rely on heavy morphine dosis until the next day, only to be told that her regular dentist was closed. We find it deeply distressing that a patient can be treated so poorly in Amsterdam, and we demand immediate action to address this grievous situation. We implore you to take this matter seriously and make necessary changes to ensure that patients receive the quality care they deserve. Anything less would be unacceptable.

I've had a toothache for days and I called at noon this morning and was able to go to Leiden at 2 p.m The service is good, the people are friendly and help you get rid of your pain and provide good anesthesia and do their best to help you get help as quickly and easily as possible. One thing: unfortunately I have to go back to my dentist for grinding down The speed is good and so is the service and certainly the expertise of the dentist

Called yesterday at 1600 and everything was full. It can happen, it's busy. It's annoying with nerve pain, but that's the way it is. We should try again tomorrow morning. Tried to make an appointment today from 0800 until half past ten. Understand that everything is busy and full. But after waiting from 25 people waiting in front of you -> to you are next and then just waiting another 30 + minutes to still not get anyone on the phone…. That is of course a bit strange for a company that is available 24/7. Finally managed to make an appointment at half past ten (before half past eight in the evening).

After a bicycle accident, I was referred by the VU ER to also contact the emergency dentist. The dentist Valeria Vespasiano and the assistant were really very knowledgeable and very sweet. Great help (OLVG East location). Very happy (to what extent can you be happy after a visit to the emergency room and emergency dentist).
