I had a guided tour in Amsterdam - day trip to see the windmills and country side. Karl was our guide, and I must say, he truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we met, Karl's friendly demeanor and jokes instantly put me at ease. Karl's ability to effortlessly blend his vast knowledge of history and culture with captivating storytelling made every tour an absolute delight. He had a unique way of bringing the past to life, painting vivid pictures with his words that transported us back in time. Not only was Karl an incredible guide, but he also had an incredible sense of humor. He effortlessly injected lightheartedness and laughter into our tours, ensuring that we were not only educated but thoroughly entertained as well. His jokes and witty remarks kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable throughout our time together. Overall, I cannot recommend Karl highly enough.

Ilya, our tour guide, was great! Tour was: Tagesausflug nach Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam und Marken von Amsterdam (in English) For lunch we were in Volendam, if you feel like it, not joining the group for food might be a good experience!

I’ve always heard that you wanted to avoid big tour groups for various reasons. None of which were an issue with Ilya as our tour guide. My girlfriend and I had a great day, with surprisingly no trouble hearing the wealth of knowledge Ilya had for the group. As far as the tour itself we saw many incredible sights. Definitely one of our favorite parts during our trip in Amsterdam. And the best part? I filled the remaining room in my suitcase with cheese! Do you really need another reason to book? And thank you again Ilya!

Highly recommended. They take you to 4 different towns, explaining the history of all of them and many curiosities. The guide Sara is great, she explains everything in a very dynamic way that greatly encourages the group. Special mention to the bus driver, Peter, very friendly and smiling. “Dutch but with a Latin character.”

Amazing tour of the Dutch countryside! We had time to explore each location and I loved every moment of it- especially the cheese tasting and the gorgeous views. Our tour guide, Ilya, went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He even got me a cup of fresh coffee to help me fight my jet lag!

On the Zaanse Schans tour, Ilya was a rockstar guide. He was super knowledgeable about Dutch history and modern culture and used engaging storytelling to keep us entertained on the bus the entire time. He was also available individually for me to ask more questions in depth, and I learned so much. Each stop of the tour was interesting and worth it, even when it started raining the sights were still enjoyable. The cheese presentation, tasting, and purchasing was the highlight of our day of many highlights.

It has exceeded my expectations! Juan has made us have a great day, answering our questions with a smile. I recommend it!

Awesome tour! This is really worth the money, you get to see so much. It’s fast pace, which I like because you get to see as many places as possible, and if you’re quick there’s more than enough time to shop and eat during the stops. Ilya was a great guide, very knowledgeable and nice. I would recommend to anyone who wants to see a lot of the countryside.

What a lovely experience! We left promptly on time, saw 4 small towns, & had a delicious lunch by the sea. We also visited a cheese factory where we sampled delicious cheese free of charge, & witnessed a small demonstration of how clogs are made. Every single person involved was polite & friendly. Definitely not doable on your own. Our tour guide was ILYA and man is he a great story-teller! Chirpy & hilarious. Highly recommended.

Very much enjoyed our day out with Karl (guide) & Jack (driver). The itinerary is packed, perhaps overly so - there's not much free time to wander at each stop and the time to get back to the bus was a mild rush each time. I don't know that I'd eliminate anything or just try to extend the day by an hour. Either way, Karl kept a an otherwise gloomy day quite cheerful and upbeat and was just an all-around delight.

A must do in Amsterdam. With or without children Karl (tour guide) makes the tour more engaging and educational. Our two children (6&10) both loved the experience and listening to Karl’s comedic way of describing the Dutch ways and the rich history of the country. Could not recommend more, easily the best tour of our Europe tour so far.

Karl was a fantastic guide and has great tidbits about the country and the cities. He also tells family-friendly “dad jokes” which is fun. The tours of the little cities are super fun and the towns are just so beautiful. Were I running this tour company, I would make the stop for lunch 30 minutes longer (90 minutes total for walking to and from the bus and a little shopping in the town) and schedule in an official bathroom break before getting on the bus back to Amsterdam.

They organise tours around amsterdam, with English and spanish guides. Buses are comfortable.. 30-40 tourists per bus.. Good guides, good buses. But stick to the timings mentioned by them. At times, bus will proceed without you if you are late. We were in such a situation recently, but inspite of it, i will rate them 5.. as there was nothing wrong from their side. And they went to great lengths, to help us as much as possible, after that incident. Would definitely recommend them.

We had a walking tour today with Xavi. He was friendly, funny and knowledgeable and we throughly enjoyed our morning exploring the city with his guidance. It was great to learn so much about Amsterdam and we have a newfound appreciation for many spots in the city, and we would recommend Guias and Tours and Xavi any day.

This tour was amazing- what an opportunity to see a part of the Netherlands most don’t see. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. He explained how the polders work and reinforced the system throughout the tour- very helpful. The tour was an easy pace, good young and old a like. Don’t know how the tour guide did it but the weather was perfect Dutch weather-misty, windy and chilly -extra points for giving the full Package.highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic time on this 6.5 hour tour around Amsterdam. Our guide Xavier was fantastic and took the time to speak to everyone in the group and especially to our 4 year old! Nice touches like giving out stroopwaffel and was also very charismatic, funny and of course informative. Very well organised tour with well thought out stops and time to wander. Highly recommend!

Ilya was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Very knowledgeable and a wonderful sense of humor. I took the bus tour through the countryside towns of North Holland and it made me want to give up my life and move there. I liked the tour so much that I joined the bike tour Ilya does as well. No one at gps coordinates. I texted them through the app. No one responded for 25 min. I had already left. Allot of back and forth (everyone else made it, my GPS says i was in the spot provided by them. ) easily resolved had they been able to respond to texts in a reasonable time . Bottom line, they refuse to refund my money, and I'm out $34 Canadian dollars.i would ask that you use another company, until they resolve this . I have used the same method to locate meeting place 3 times the day before with other companies. They where where the coordinates said they would. C'est la vie.

My partner is Spanish but I'm from Amsterdam. We booked a tour to see more outside of Amsterdam with Spanish explanations. It was a amazing day and highly recommended it. Our guide Sara was full of energy and so much fun. Thank you for a great day🥰

Ilya was a most excellent guide. We had a few conversations on my tour where he shared his expertise and related to being from America. The windmills were absolutely enchanting. The cheese and clog museum was like a left back tourist trap, but all the more fascinating because of it. And the trip out to Volendam was indescribably beautiful. Thanks!

We had the 6h 30min tour to Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam and Marken + 1h Canal cruise and everything was great! Our guide Laura is very knowledgeable and gave us valuable information about the places we've seen, information that we wouldn't have found out if we had done this tour by our own. It was the best day of our city-break! I highly recommend!

LOVED THIS TOUR!!! It is a Very FAST pace tour which involves FAST pace walking. Our guide, Karl did an amazing job keeping our group entertained with history facts and his wits! He was very fun and kept us laughing and engaged. My only complaint would be not enough time to meander, I like to shop! I would totally recommend this tour but would caution the people who would be unable to keep up the fast pace, it may NOT be so enjoyable for those people. MANY THANKS KARL ;)

More than worth the money. With this tour, Ilya rides you through the history and customs of Netherlands since the old days. You get to visit a lot of cool places, really typical houses and commerce and you get to eat traditional dutch food. As an extra Ilya allows himself to take you pictures and give awesome recommendations. It was a tour full of experiences, I definitely recommend anyone doing!
