Don't get me wrong; the staff are delightful to be around. But if you are trying to visit Disneyland or Downtown Disney for the day or night. Then I wouldn't choose this hotel for many reasons. The first is that it is technically four large blocks away from the parks if you count the block with the park. It's a good half-hour walk and, unfortunately, some homeless nearby. The second reason is noticeably dated furniture and appliances in the room and cracks in places that you would typically see in another cheaper hotel. If you don't mind something outdated or reused, you should settle for a less expensive hotel than this one. The last thing I will mention is that they give you ramen and packaged danish goods for breakfast which is fine if you are looking for a simple grab n go meal to get you started. Still, if you have a family of four or more and you have kids that you need to feed before heading to the park, then I wouldn't go here. It is a beautiful property nonetheless, but if you are looking for something cheap with a good look and close by to where you want to get. I kindly repeat, don't go here.

Worst place to stay at in Anaheim. Do not recommend at all. Checked in and they asked for an addition $15 for parking since I had 2 cars for my room. Okay cool here’s the $15. Looked for parking and there was not one single space of parking. Why the hell would you charge me $15 if not one single slot is open? And then continues to tell me to park at Carls Jr. next door and my car would be fine since they know the owners. If my car gets stolen? Broken into? Etc. Would they take full responsibility for what happened to my car? No because it’s not in THEIR property. So what does it have to do with them. I asked for the bosses number to speak with him and the employee working tells me that he can move his car and I can park one car to make space but the other one would need to go to Carls Jr. No. I wanted a refund.

Excellent location 1 mile from Disney that is on the ART busline. We were looking for an affordable option near Disney, it's not a Hilton but the rooms were fairly large with tall, firm beds and the bathroom was well lit, updated and had great towels. Our room was clean, staff was very accommodating, and it has every other day housekeeping. Our room had newer carpet and the double dresser was helpful to keep things sorted. If there is a downfall, it was the paper thin walls. We could hear most the things going on in the room next door but the fluffy towels and hot water evened things out for us. The hotel does offer a lite breakfast from 7-9am, which is primarily packaged pastries, three types of cereal, and bread choices. You have to eat your food in the breakfast room, it's made clear, but people were still trying to sneak things out. They have a small pool and hot tub, but we were busy with other things. We used the ART pass through A-Way-We-Go and rode it to Disney and Knotts Berry Farm. Your on the Harbor line, and it's a way to save 2 miles a day on your feet. It's a 15 minute ride to the park from getting on.

I’ll start by saying, 2 of the front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful, I wish I could remember their names. However.. This hotel was overpriced for a very basic hotel room. Advertising an accommodation as a “family suite” when in reality it was 2 rooms, with an adjoining door. Rooms were very basic at best, no shuttle service, and only 1 elevator for a 3 story hotel, which wasn’t even fully working during my stay, and not great parking. For the price, I was expecting just a little higher quality, especially being a bit further away from Disney. Then the day after check out, I see the hotel charged me a SECOND time. When I called to have this corrected, I’m told by the front desk lady that “that’s what happens when you use a debit card”.. WHAT?.. then I spoke to the manager, who was less than helpful. He tells me that my bank app, since it’s on my phone, isn’t correct and they didn’t charge me twice. So I call my bank and alas, it definitely is a REAL second charge!! Luckily my bank was more than helpful in getting those reversed after I explained the situation.. So just be careful if you book with a debit card!!

What a disappointment this place is. This is definitely has the motel, not a hotel feeling. Came for the hot tub room An its disgusting. The carpet is stiff an there is nothing romantic about this room. Let's talk about their breakfast... With the little amount they have they, should just not serve at all. The lady running it is rude, oh an you can't take your little bread they offer you out. Cheap cheap cheap but rate was high . So many other options I wish I would have known better

Just your average hotel near Disneyland. Beds were above average, but the AC was a little loud. Price is great if your goal is a place to sleep after a long day at the House of Mouse. Was quiet on the weekend. About 0.4 miles (10 minute) walk to the Toy Story parking lot shuttle. Breakfast rule about not taking food is a bit nonsensical.

Wonderful place. No pets allowed, but other than that, it is a great place to stay. The room we got this time has a jacuzzi hot tub in the room. Aaahhhmazing! The rest of the room is adorable and the bed is super comfortable. Highly recommend.!

Very kind & helpful staff! They were able to accommodate checking in early (for a fee!) which we were very grateful for as we had just had a long early flight. The room was clean & quiet. Beds were comfy. The hotel was very walkable to the convention center & a short $7 Uber to Disneyland. Overall, a great experience for a low price. If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t have frills, but is clean & great for just sleeping and showering and spending most of your day at Disneyland, this is perfect. Thank you Anaheim Carriage Inn!

Bed bugs. Stayed here in Feb 2022, and spotted two small bugs in the duvet. I'm from the UK where this is rare so had no idea what it was. Upon returning, my doctor identified dozens of bite marks, resembling those of bed bugs. Left a note on their website a month ago but haven't heard anything, hence this review. Also, the older ladies at the front desk are quite helpful. Although the place is overpriced for what looks like an old motel.

This is special situation, however, they don't allow customers to bring their food back to room, just because they are afraid that customers take too much? If you afraid that, you can close your breakfast or increase the price. If you do so during pandemic, it only shows your bad attitude and narrow. When I talked with manager, I talked a little bit louder since I was wearing a mask. And then, she told me don't yell at her!? So, your attitude is to blame customers when facing any arguments? If you afraid your customers, you should close this motel ASAP.

Stayed the last week in December. Staff had a figure it yourself attitude. Breakfast was stale cereal and ramen. My sister in law was supposed to come with had emergency surgery and refused to refund or reschedule her. They refused to even TALK to her they would transfer her to a random voicemail to complain and ignored it. If anyone else would call for them to talk they would refuse to help. They even got the insurance with the purchase and they are refusing to honor it. It was terrible service. And even know we are willing to work with them if they would just communicate with us. They think they have a monopoly because they are close to Disneyland and can be rude and barely due the minimum!! Terrible.

Rooms are spacious! The mini fridge has a small freezer, that is nice to have. There is a small microwave on top of the mini fridge. The staff is extremely friendly! In my opinion, it is a little far if you are going to Disneyland. The parking lot is very small. There is a convince store in the same parking lot, that is helpful.

Room was filthy. Beds had stains on them. Absolutely terrible place to stay. Place is cheaper than most hotels in the area, but you really get what you pay for.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Clean rooms & right across the street from Roscoes chicken and waffles ?! Close to Disneyland.

There was a cockroach in our room and we were informed that they roam in the pipes. The mini fridge didn't work as well. The food wasn't very cold and I got food poisoning from leftovers I kept in that fridge. We were there 3 days and housekeeping hadn't touched our room( no new towels, beds not made, trash not emptyed) You can hear everything your neighbors say through the walls. There was also a dead bug on the curtain.

I grew up in Anaheim and this is a great location. We have a family of six and they actually have rooms with 3-4 queen beds available! If you have a larger sized group, consider this little hotel. Very nice staff, clean rooms, very good location for Disney and convention center visitors.

Came along because other friends were staying here. Was a quick check in and the complete price wasnt read out before being charged. Was told 150 per night and deposite for 2 nights. Ended up 150 didnt include tax and 5 minutes later asked the guy at the register if there were free cancelations to get the room cheaper due to online offering rooms for 110. He said the 150 didnt even include the tax but he wouldnt give me a recipt or readout of bill until i check out. Then said i cant cancel within 48 hours of reserving a room. I seen the room and dont see anything special here. Just an over priced room that i cannot afford being unemployed. Be extremly careful when walking in when tired or wore out because you WILL be taken advantage of with no way out.

First time staying at this hotel, don't see myself returning. Beds- One was extremely creaky with any sort of movement. No blankets, we had to ask for extra, given we went when full downpour, I kinda would have expected. Bathroom- Ok, but spacious. Room as a whole- Plugs were very loose and slightly finicky. Lighting throhought was a but dark. Pool area- Pool and hot tub were heated, have to ask towels from front desk. It is a bit small, but in size with the rest of hotel. Breakfast- Per the price it says a breakfast is included. They had styrofoam cups for coffee, and no. They had cereal, bagels and pre-packaged pastries. Green bananas and apples. The person at the front desk was nice. If you are planning on just going to be in the area and not care where you sleep then this is a good option.

Had an event over the weekend at the convention center nearby so picked this hotel because it was walking distance. A bit older hotel, but the rooms were clean and ok even if they probably needed to be updated. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable. No daily housekeeping had to exchange our towels at the front desk. Didn't like that especially since we received an email saying this was due to COVID protocols, seems like that is overdone. Recommend bringing your own shampoo and soap. Biggest disappointment was the "included" which was one of the reasons we chose this place, doesn't start until 7am. We had to be at our event by 7 and asked about getting in 15 early to pick something up and go...we couldn't. Most likely will not stay here again.

Breakfast doesn’t start till 7am and if you are trying to rope drop at Disneyland that’s not gonna work. So we couldnt get breakfast here and the day we did there’s a security guard/housekeeper watching your every move to make sure you don’t take any of the food out which makes no sense when we paid for it and most of it is packed snacks and there’s very little options. It was ridiculous. I felt very uncomfortable trying to eat like i was gonna get in trouble. I had a baby I wanted to take a fruit and cheerios too so he could eat as a snack and the lady was like following me around and staring me down and then she said you have to eat this here. This hotel is nothing special. I’m not going back.

When did it start being OK to have a check in at 4 PM to check out at 11am??? Then they charge you to get ice…ice of all things, then they don’t even clean the room daily. That’s a total lie. They will not clean the room during your stay at all. So if you’re there for three days, too bad you gotta clean it yourself then if you want new towels, you have to take the olds one to the office to get new ones. The room was fine but the lack of service is terrible and shows that they don’t care about their guests there.

This place was quite clean and the housekeeping staff clearly work hard each day to keep up with things. The front desk was kind and friendly. It was fairly quiet inside the rooms. The breakfast is disappointing, with a crowded room and staff who require you to eat there or not eat at all. They cited an Anaheim ordinance that prevents you from taking food outside of the very small breakfast area, which was confusing. The staff stated they were "watching, with cameras everywhere" if you left the room with any food at all. That was certainly a new experience. There were other odd things, like staff documenting the number of towels requested and the extra roll of toilet paper we requested. Things labeled with prices in the room to discourage theft and lamps glued down. It seems like they have trouble with stealing, which is unfortunate. It made us feel like we were being evaluated for simple things, like requesting toilet paper. I certainly didn't appreciate the feeling, although the staff were verbally kind. Also, the wi-fi was really difficult, even though there was a router in our guest room. It seems like they're trying hard to improve the experience but we were unable to connect to the wi-fi for longer than a few minutes at a time. If you ask for nothing, have your own hotspot and don't use the breakfast this place is a good location to sleep and leave your stuff. If you plan to stay in the room for any reason, or need internet, probably not worth it.

They don't offer daily house keeping and they don't tell you until 48 hours before your reservation then we noticed the room was dirty we had a blood stain on our blanket just very poor house keeping. The room they gave us was right next to the road it was noisy at night with loud cars driving by all night not very relaxing after a day at Disneyland. The a/c makes everything in the room feel moist. I don't recommend staying here.

Hotel staff were all very friendly & check in was a breeze! Our room was ready upon arrival, clean & comfortable. Restaurants are within walking distance. Pool is available, although we didn't have time to use it. Rates are reasonable & we will definitely book our next stay at the Carriage Inn.

I am a disabled Veteran, having TBI and PTSD I was allowed to check in at 3pm having paid a $35 early check in fee in cash, on top of the originally agreed rate and time of check in stated at 3pm only then at 10pm I was notified I must present an additional $100 for having a registered service Animal in my room, if I did not comply they would have me removed from the property, retaining my deposit with no refund. I am now outside with my service animal of 12yrs having paid $238 for my nighty accommodation and lose of my initial $100 security deposit . This is a criminal offense, when I asked to speak to a manager I was denied, it states per there website service dogs are allowed , I have been complient and even tried to educate the front desk staff, sadly my dog and I are still outside for the night, I have never felt so discriminated as to be a Irag marine combat veteran with such a loving dog who has been by my side for 12 yrs, I shed tears tonight not for me but for my little girl who is sleeping outside as I keep her warm on this horrific night, for all the nights she has kept me safe, tonite I will stand watch as she sleeps , Semper FI

Basic, clean and cost effective. Great service from Sherry. Close to Disneyland by city bus or. Walking. Stayed with 8/people in 2 rooms. Not a single complaint

The room was dirty. The “new” tissue box placed in my room was used.. a roach ran into the drain when I was getting into the shower.. also my tv didn’t work and they tried to fix it at 3pm and couldn’t.. tried again.. nothing! And then they finally offered to move me rooms at 10pm!! I asked to be moved at 4pm!! Ridiculous! Close to Disney but the manager is rude and unprofessional

I had booked a room but then once Disneyland closed due to Covid I didn’t use the room since the reason for staying there was to go to Disneyland. I asked them if I could rebook my paid hotel stay (1 night) and they refused. They said there was nothing they could do and I wasn’t able to rebook my stay even with the Covid pandemic closing down Disneyland during the time I was supposed to stay here. I would never stay here. They are not accommodating. I’m out all the money I spent on the hotel. No refund.

Stayed here the week after Christmas was not impressed. We were asked to clean up after ourselves during the duration of the stay. Which meant towels and clean linens were in short supply. Breakfast was sub par. Weird side note the elevator was oddly slow. I’m sure it’s on its way out. Would not stay here again ever. I would not give them your money. They will not work with you to resolve any on your issues. My sister had a medical emergency the day before she was to arrive at the hotel. She let them know what was happening and they assured us that we would be able to resolve the matter. Especially since she had purchased the insurance for he stay from Expedia. Turns out they will not comp her stay or even give her the time of day to work through it with her. I tried to call them several times today. Sounds like the staff has been asked to forward all complaints to a dummy voice mail and disregard them all together. Needless to say we may be taking legal action against them. Good luck throwing your hard earned money at this dumpster fire of a hotel. You’re better off sleeping in your car at a nearby Walmart.

Toilet got clogged, we requested handicap room on Booking.com but didn’t fill the request. Did not clean room, and continental breakfast was nothing special. Pic showed hard boiled eggs and that was not there. Lots of Mexico sweet bread which were nasty. For 400 would of expected at least room cleaned.
