Place looks nice but do not let that deceive you. Cocktails look very poor, little ice and no garnish. Food was terrible, the steaks were like shoe soles, veggies and potatoes were cold. 3 people of our group got food poisoning. The staff also forgot some orders that still did not come after 1,5 hours. On top of that, for a place where a lot of internationals come. The staffs English is very poor and some do not even speak Turkish.... I would recommend another place over this one.

Very nice place but very, very low service quality. What a shame. (It is a dirty glass) Firstly i gave one star but after saw the effeort of the "molecular biologist mete" i gave two stars. Take care of Mete, please.

They have black beer. Wohoo. Very good music. Staff is awesome. Nice environment. Also love the mulberry tree at corner, makes shadow and it's awesome.

Good bar but some of the individuals running “foreigners in Ankara” events here are rude, unkind, and are severely lacking in basic communication skills and empathy. Frankly, the way they treat foreigners not part of their clique is an embarrassment to Turkey. These were probably the rudest people I’ve encountered anywhere in the world having visited 40+ countries - that’s some achievement, well done 😅

Nice and cool spot for chill and cold Drink waiters so nice drinks a properly made and delicious. I recommend stopping by and getting a bite.

There is not much to say about this place. It is a staple of Kızılay. Has almost everything & can accommodate almost anyone. There is also a performance hall upstairs for stand up comedy shows. One downside is that it is BIG and staff, who are clearly being overworked, can't keep up with all the tables, even on weekday nights. Lastly, the performance hall is not very-well designed for that kind of use and for such a large crowd so, if you are going for a show, I recommend going about 20-30 minutes early to get a good seat.

It has a quite charming environment. You can find a fine selection of beverages and an acceptable menu for meals. The only downside for me was the exceptionally long minutes I had to wait for a delicious pizza!

The place is huge, it has 4 floors and hosts a variety of shows (stand-up comedies, small concerts), I have seen that they had even hosted a business meeting in the second floor. Unfortunately, during mid-day the staff is smaller and since the first floor is also huge, they may not handle customers well (only the first floor is open during mid-day). I had ordered iced coffee but it was room temperature, although they changed it quickly. Still wasn't the best coffee i had, but the price is not much different from other cafés, so definitely worth it. Don't be fooled by my English, I actually live in Ankara and Route is the number one choice if I want a decent time in Kızılay. Hope that they keep it that way!

It's a must visit place in Ankara. It has 4 floors, a balcony, a library as well. The menu is huge and offers variety of choices, both alcoholic and non alcoholic as well. Snacks, desserts and main course dishes as well. The staff is nice and works fast. The prices are extremely affordable for the atmosphere and service you receive. Totally recommended. It's a great place for meetings or study, because the second floor is very quiet.

Great place for a meeting friends. They have a nice balcony on the 3rd floor and a great garden in the back. Every Saturday night they organise international Night with many foreigners in Ankara.

I didn't take a photo. It isn't a very modern place but the location is very easy to find and the cafe itself is spacious enough so that you're not too close to the other customers. It has 2 separate open-air spaces,one in front and the other at the back, which is more like a 2 storey balcony. The menu seemed alright but the waiters and waiteresses hardly notuce you. You may have to kill someone to attract their attention 😅. I would definitely visit the place again but I would enjoy the place more if they make sure Im comfortable enough.

I had a Route burger and it was delicious! The poor waitress had a huge section of the restaurant. I wish the owner would have hired more staff.
