We are visiting family in Ankara and are so happy to find that the number of vegan restaurants here is growing. We have tried 4 so far and Mes Petits Chef is one of the best. They offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and low sugar options. The menu is nicely extensive, offering both breakfast and lunch/dinner, desserts, hot and cold drinks. We had the Green Apple Salad, Pesto Penne Pasta, and Falafel Plate. All were of substantial size and delicious. One delightful surprise was the refreshing, handmade non-alcoholic Mojito. It was seriously the best mojito I have had - alcoholic or non! The staff and owner are friendly and attentive. The ambiance is very pleasant. We would love more vegan dessert options, and the owner, Gaye, is actively working on new recipes. We highly recommend Mes Petits Chefs and encourage you to try it soon!

I really liked this place, but as is really common the service can be really bad sometimes. I had a great experiencie just 4 days ago I that's why I decided to come with my parents for Taco night. The last Sunday we asked to the waiter for a reservation and he helped us to set everything (he was so nice and kind) and today that we came, they told us that we needed to buy tickets to have the tacos and that we must asked before? When we have talked in the place a few days before? So wrong wrong and you made feel as we have the fault when is on you and your lack communication. The restaurant was we just 3 occupied tables and you couldn't cook the tacos for 3 people? And then you presure us to make an order? Really bad experience :(

If you’re craving for continental cuisine and desserts in Ankara, Mes Petits Chefs it is. Their foods are freshly made, the aroma so very enticing, draws you in. The cafe has a Parisian feel to it, cozy, live jazz music being played, such a soothing ambiance. Their menu is vast, and there are special days for certain foods which you need to get tickets for beforehand. The food for sure is made with care and attention to detail. Loved their French toasts. Their jams and spreads are homemade using fresh ingredients and traditional techniques. I absolutely love their Tiramisu. The warm ganache dripping on the fluffy mascarpone gives it a perfectly balanced sweet taste along with the bitterness of dusted coffee. So so moist and soft it disappears in the mouth and you are in heaven right then and there. Their Paella is so scrumptious, rice exceptionally well cooked tender yet firm to the bite, prawns cooked so evenly, not overcooked at all. Simple perfection! Loved their philly cheesesteak as well. The meat was so so fresh and tender and the amount was tremendous. The Tater potatoes were no less. Irresistibly delicious, deep golden-brown colour with an outer crust that looks exceptionally crispy all round, yet super soft and yummy from inside, and with a sprinkle of parmesan ah! it was simply amazing. The hot chocolate ball is the best thing ever, with chocolate marshmallows. And their lasagne is a big warm comforting hug within layers of pasta, minced meat, tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese that melts in your mouth instantly. Loved their perfect savoury Galette, it was so yum. The crust was buttery, flaky, slightly crumbly, and extremely fresh. The beauty of it is it’s rustic nature and appearance. If you love olives, you’ll love the salty, briny flavour of the olive spread served along with the galette. The quantity and portions are quite fulfilling. I can go on and on about their remarkable eatery. Their staff is extremely amenable, helpful, and obliging. Hussain bey is the sweetest. Extremely soft-spoken, gracious, so polite and humble. Absolutely love conversing with him about foods, always so accommodating. The owner herself, Gaye hanım is no less she is equally sweet, so very kind and courteous. I highly recommend!!!
