The must see place! The cave is amazing! You can go there by bus number 506 and from the last stop walk 1.6 km. 480 steps up are not so scary, it's quite easy to go up) Visit this cave, it's worthy.

Karain Cave in Antalya is a bit far from downtown, but the journey there is really fun. The mountains around the cave are so beautiful and will capture your attention. Inside the cave, there are only bats and not much else, and it's a bit challenging to climb all the stairs to get up the mountain. But once you reach the top and look down, you'll have a great time enjoying the view.

Beautiful views from the top and the stairs, but have some stretching before going up the stairs. If my mum did it, you can do it too.. There is a small musalla for prayer there, with an ablution place inside. Just behind the souvenir shop The cave is interesting and cool. Entrance and car park including fee: 12,5TL

A very interesting cave, still under exploration of Geologists... It is very sterp up and very hot in August but worth making the effort, a good workout. The potential restuarant is used by the Geologists but they do sell water and juice

Entrance costs 20 TRY per person and is paid only in cash. I would recommend this place only if you have some spare time. I spent here around half an hour, but it may take more time to "climb" the stairs (with benches and shadows from trees), especially in sunny and hot day.

This is one of the famous caves you can visit in Turkey. It is about 33 km away from Antalya City Center. You can enter the area with your Museum Pass Card. There are enough places for parking your vehichles, while the road is not good enough. The authorities should renew it as soon as possible because it is depend on Ministry of Culture. Upon entering the area, a tough stair walk welcomes you. It was really tiring to climb up to the mouth of the cave. If it is summer time, this makes it harder and harder. After this tiring climb, you can read the information plate and get in the cave. It is not a very big one but you can surprise when you see the stalactites and stalagmites. It is also so calm in this cave where you can refresh yourself after climbing on those stairs under sun. As I read, this cave offered habitation for societies in early ages. Moreover, it was used as a temple and an altar in the Classical Ages. After excavations, the fossils that were founded gives important clues about Palaeolithic Age. Shortly, if you have time to go around Antalya, you should certainly visit this place.

A beautiful cave with very old formations and cave drawings. Pretty unsupervised so you can explore all the corners and smaller rooms on your own. Main area is illuminated, bring a flashlight if you want to go further. Note that entrance is 300 meters higher than the parking (about 10 minutes up the steps)

Millions of years ago, early humans lived in caves to protect themselves from wild animals and weather hazards. It is nice to visit such historical places. This cave is located at the top of the mountain. There is a nice wooden staircase from the entrance all the way up to the cave. Along the way, you will enjoy a beautiful view.

Nothing special about this cave except for the history. Everything interesting from this place is already in the museums.

It easy to get there by car. The price is 10 trl . Its better to go there around 6pm during the summer time when the sun is over the mountains.

Nothing other than a cave. No shops etc. which makes it underwhelming.

A cave with several rooms. Need to climb about 550 stairs but worth it. Entrance ticket 20tl or free with the museum card

The cave is amazing, and you can hear the bats inside. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs... the cave is located at the tip of the mountain. Fortunately, there are rest locations.

Even the small street up to this place is like a small adventure. I like it.

It's a fairly nice place to visit if you are in Antalya. There are indeed about 500 stairs until you reach the cave, but easy to get there. It's amazing to see where our ancestors used to live.

It is a very large cave but you have to climb up about 400-500 stairs. Not recommend for people with health problems. But once you get inside it is nice and cool. Unfortunately there were some writings on the walls most likely done by visitors. It is reasonably priced and they keep it clean in general. Out side of the cave you can spot writings and cravings from years ago.

Worth the effort. I was there 25 years ago in 1996, and I still cherish that visit. You can imagine the early inhabitants of the cave looking out over their Garden of Eden from the cave entrance. A wonderful place. Turkey is a wonderful country. My favorite in the world!!

Despite some very negative comments, I found this place to be a quite intriguing spot. It this true that it is not a very big cave but what makes this place unique is its history and the fact that early humans once inhabited this place.

This is an incredible location, knowing how far back in time it was first inhabited. Warning: there are probably about 400 stairs to the cave entrance. This is not accessible for those needing wheelchairs or strollers and not recommend if you have heart or lung issues.

Very impressive pre-historic settlement used by man from 500.000BC. On a top of a hill needs a bit stair climbing but worth it. The site is open everyday.
