This is one of the most stunning ancient sites of the whole Anatolian region. Everything here seems to have been built to inspire and impress its visitors and inhabitants back in the day. And the site is so well preserved somehow that imagining how life might have been here back then is not difficult at all. The amphitheater is situated on a cliff face, and to this day retains amazing sound acoustics. Go stand in the middle of where the actors would have performed, speak normally and someone at the very top of the amphitheatre as a spectator can hear you. This experience alone is a time machine, and it offers amazing insights into some of the genius behind the construction of these buildings. Something we so easily discount because we always think to be the smartest people that ever lived. A must do visit for anyone passing through Antalya.

(Translated by Google) If you expect more from a vacation in Antalya and the surrounding area, you should definitely stop by here. An amphitheater in the middle of the mountains high on a mountain. The builders must have been a little weird, because otherwise nobody would come up with the idea of placing such a structure in such a location. According to the stories, it must have been a warlike people that even Alexander the Great had a hard time with (just google Termessos). At some point, however, the situation was probably too uncomfortable - albeit extremely easy to defend - so that the city was abandoned by the residents. My tip: put on some sturdy shoes and be sure to visit this place. From the car park, it's a good half hour's walk over hill and dale.

The ruins where the museum card is valid for the citizens of the Republic of Turkey. This is a very peaceful place to rest your head. There are all kinds of possibilities. While walking between the paths, you are fascinated by the famous rock tombs that have survived thousands of years ago.

Amazing hiking path all the way to the top of the mountain. The historic relics aren’t very well maintained but it is an amazing reflection of a city that once existed.

The site is a 30min hike up the mountain from the parking. The theatre is the only well preserved part of the historical city but at over 1000m altitude and with the amazing view of the mountains it is the more stunning and well worth the hike.

(Translated by Google) the best place in the mountains near Antalya, few tourists, a chic historical place, the views from which will take your breath away. Neither photos nor videos can convey the feeling. It is necessary to go for the whole day, preferably by 10 am and by car from the entrance to the park upstairs by car for another 10 minutes along the serpentine. With you water, food, and comfortable shoes.

Beautiful area, untouched by archaeologists till now. Absolutely stunning view at amphitheater, one of the best I've seen. Could be a little hard to get there at hot weather, long walk uphill and stones.
