The entrance during our visit was slightly concealed by overgrowth. It's between two apartment blocks with a yellow sign showing the way. When you reach the first tomb you can either head left or right and each direction takes you to more tombs. The trick is to follow the white electricity cables for the lights. There are no signs or pathways as such. You have to climb the rocks. I suggest to wear appropriate shoes and trousers due to the prickly bushes. It's worth it for the views and to see ancient history. Please note that the tombs are small (like the example in the picture), some of the pictures uploaded are of different locations and are not at this site.

Not too much to see here unless you want to do some rock scrambling to access other tombs. Located off the side of the road, you'll climb a fairly short flight of stairs before you encounter the first tombs that are built directly into the rock face, it's fascinating. It does however smell like urine inside, you've been warned.

Apart from the lovely views over Kas and the sea, there is not much to see at the tombs. However it’s still incredible to see how the people hewed out these tombs and structures in the rock face. Also notice the Lycian writing carved into the rock façade. The tombs are sadly not protected in any way so there is the usual pathetic graffiti on some and the idiotic litter left behind in some. There is a sign at street level to the stairs up to the tombs.

Small room, had to sleep on the cold and damp rock. Good effort by the builder though, door was broken. Need electricity and wifi ASAP.

The Lycian's believed their dead were carried to the afterlife by winged creatures; therefore the tombs were carved upon the cliff-face to give them a 'higher' location and have them closer to new afterlife destination On the other hand only you should be a rich Lycian to has a grave like that on the cliff but if you aren't rich it will be luck for you to be choosen by flying creatures as to be posted to your new after life destination. :)

To reach the tombs one would need to climb over boulders and rocks which isn't suitable for visitors with kids and people with age. The tombs themselves are left there without any signs or any explanation on its history. This is disappointing and the local government should add some signs. The view you would get from the top is definitely worth the climb. First of all the entrance is between two normal buildings There is a yellow signboard which should be looked out for to not accidentally enter someone's backyard. Throughout the journey FOLLOW THE LAMPS. They are placed next to each tomb which makes it so that one isn't lost. It is difficult but a nice memory to have.

It's hard to find it, harder to park nearby. Entrance is hidden behind overgrown bushes and weeds and trash. Some thorny, prickly. Some pretty gross trash things, too, try not to look down. After that ordeal, you have a rather steep and wild climb up an unlabeled, unsigned path. Forget about it. Not worth it. Want tomb in mountain side? Go to Fethiye. Free parking lot, free and easy steps all the way up, inside the tombstone cave. Not much garbage as well. And a great view.

Lycia Rock Tombs are right in the city centre and at first might be difficult to spot as you need to climb up the steep stairs that are hidden between the houses. Worth visiting though and it's completely free.

Super cool that remnants of Lycian cultures can be found right in the middle of the city!! There are no lights and also no footpath to the second tomb so climbing will be required of you. Think twice before climbing at night!! The view from the hill is breathtaking

Small collection of tombs in the side of the hill, pretty nice to see randomly inbetween two houses.

A little hidden but definitely worth spending the extra time looking for them. They are very interesting and are even better explored at night.

Not much to see as far as tombs go. They are just meeting places for people to drink alcohol and leave their rubbish behind. A nice view across the city is the upside for climbing the makeshift steps in the rock.

Definitely Worth seeing, although not that easy to find. Unlike in Myra, you can easily enter the tomb

A very short stair walk from the road. Hidden by overgrown trees. Nearly missed it. Just a very small site, unless there's more to explore upward which we didn't see any clear path.

👍👍 If you love UNESCO sites, then this one is for you. It’s right off a main roadway and is a very large area. Most of the area is in a ruin state, minus some of the tombs and gladiator arena.
