Excellent pub on the high street. Great selection of Cask Ales, lagers, ciders & other alcoholic drinks. Service was excellent & the lady in charge ran the place like an army major (compliment). She knew which table number people were sat at & ran the evening like a military operation. Food was top class & very reasonably priced. Fully recommend this place.

Visited here 3 times during my weeks stay, staff very friendly and food really tasty, definitely worth visiting if you are in Keswick. Dog friendly area near bar so you can take your dog with you. Lamb and mint pie is certainly worth a try.

Great traditional pub just off main Keswick shopping area and market. Stopped for lunch, good beer selection, nice selection of tasty sandwiches and baguettes. Sandwiches came with a portion of chips each which we didn't expect. Good service and quick with it.

The Bank always has great options on the Specials board additional to their menu. The veggie burger and sweet potato fries were excellent. The Olives, Pepper Hummus and Flatbread was a really nice sharer and pretty big. Good value for £7.49 I think. Pub is traditional Lakes style with classic old pics of Keswick and good selection of ales and lagers

We visited on Boxing day and found a warm welcome. Busy but run efficiently by a friendly staff. We enjoyed the food which was delivered to our table in a few minutes. They also had clean and functional toilets, with both hand driers and paper towels. Recommended whilst you visit Keswick.

Ate here twice over the last few days whilst staying in Keswick. Had a tuna melt baguette with chips and salad for lunch which was lovely. Had the lamb mint shoulder with mash and veg for an evening meal, lovely tender meat and creamy mash. Couldn't finish all the meal despite it being fab as was too much for me.

I'm glad to see that this excellent establishment hasn't changed too much after the takeover of Jennings. Still serving great pub food and a selection of good ales. Can't say the same for some of their competitors in Keswick.

Absolutely stunning food presentation and taste. We dropped in hoping for a meal this place exceeded any expectations of just pub grub. Very friendly atmosphere place was packed Saturday night

Plenty of cask beers available and as with most Lakeland pubs dog friendly. Had jacket potato with cheese and tuna which hit the spot after long walk

Great little pub conveniently situated right near the car park in Keswick. We didn't get to try the food, but it looked delicious and is served until 9pm which is great if you're looking for a late bite to eat. Great miners' pub vibe which feels very traditionally English.

Had a meal there tonight September 17th 2023. Ordered a sirloin what I got was a bland lump of meat no taste at all probably the worst steak I've ever had. I'm not the type of person to complain but feel I'm justified to complain tonight. I spoke to the waitress, might as well have spoken to the wall she just ignored my complaint. Will never use this eatery ever again they just didn't want to know my complaint, very very poor.

If you like friendly service, a great choice of beers & big portions of well cooked food this is the pub to visit. The wife was in a wheelchair, and they were very helpful. Just excellent

Popped in here after the original place we’d planned to go was full, amazing food and lovely staff! Food came so quickly (we were in at around 8:25pm so we figured it may be slower service) nothing was too much for the ladies serving and behind the bar, so welcoming 100% recommend!
