Cute place to stop in for a bite or drink. My Australian partner had the beef and ale pie and I (Iā€™m American) had the Mac n cheese. We both loved our dishes. Very nice with great flavors. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were also on top of service.

Love the dog and gun! We got there just before it opened and we're the first in so managed to get a table. The goulash is amazing one of our main reasons to continue to go back to Keswick! Good choice of local beers too! Children's menu consists of pizza, nuggets and pasta! Very helpful and friendly staff. Dogs aloud inside.

Went in twice as we had such a lovely time the 1st time. Would recommend the goulash very tasty.šŸ‘.The pie and fish and chips also great. The place is quirky and we could take the dog in too. The log fire was on and it had a lovely atmosphere. The service was šŸ‘. Once ordered it wasn't to long before food came. The staff cleared the tables quickly. It's a busy pub but worth the wait.

Yummy. Whilst on a hike (Newlands Round) was recommended this pub by a fellow hiker we met on the way so had to sample it and it didn't disappoint

The Dog and Gun has a great atmosphere. We loved seeing so many people bring their dogs with them to the pub. I recommend the Beef & Ale Pie.

Had our lunch here today. We ordered the Gulasch and it was delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Small place with a large personality. Will definitely return and would happily recommend.,, šŸ˜„

A lovely warm welcome when checking in, nice room with comfortable beds. Dinner was from a well assorted menu, dishes were tasty with fresh ingredients. A good selection of beers and wine available from the bar. Breakfast is cooked to order and just what is needed for a day exploring the lake district.
