The woman in reception who sold us the tickets forced us to buy tickets to the historical museum even though it was not open. This is fraudulent and unacceptable behaviour. The woman working in reception is unethical and this is not a decent business practice.

The lady running the front desk forced us to buy the ticket for the National history museum. When we went to the National history museum, she told us it was not open and we could not get our money back. The lady running the front desk was absolutely rude and scammed us. Do not come here. This is an absolute sham.

Sometimes places disappoint you a little bit. This is not one of those places. The reptiles inside of the exhibit looked unhappy about being here and if you buy a ticket, you too can experience that same type of disappointment. The woman in reception who sold us the tickets knew we were trying to see the history museum, she forced us to buy tickets to both the history museum and reptile exhibit. We walked through the exhibit, then when we tried to do the historical museum she informed us that that was not open, and no we could not have our money back. Save your money and what sense of joy you still have left in your life and avoid this scam of a business.

The first disappointment was being forced to buy two tickets (history and reptiles) when we only wanted to go to the history part. The second disappointment were the small empty cages that the larger snakes are held in. The third disappointment was being told the history part was closed for renovation and we could not get our money back.

Very well organised museum with two distinct categories; one is natural history, and one is regular Romanian history. The place has numerous attractions such as artefacts from prehistoric times, fossils, some Hungarian traditional tools and clothes and much much more ! Definitely worth a look

Good museum, not great. Pretty small, in 30 min you see everything. The animals and birds should have labels next to them so people know what everything is, not tiny number and a board that is hard to read. The butterfly pictures need more light so you can see them, too dark in there. More interactive technology for kids would be a bonus.

Because I was visiting Arad with dogs I haven't visited the museum, but walking in front of it I must say it is a magnificent building.

Very nice museum. Very informative. Lots of Romanian history from the very beginning of time as well as the history of Arad. We enjoyed the gift shop and the persons working there very friendly and helpful.

Nice museum about history and natural science, where you can see stuffed animals and historical items. It was renovated recently and it looks very good.
