This is a very old restaurant in Riyadh and does not need any introduction or review. Since Restaurant has been through management and staff changes recently so there has been few issues with service, and quality of food. However their chanay, chicken jalfarezi, chicken ginger, paalak paneer and Steam Roast have always been great. I am a big fan of their steam roast. Too bad that I do not have any picture to share but you must try it. In Ramadan they offer saada and Aaloo walay parathay in Sehri. A great thing about them is that they don't charge you for Butter Naan when you are dining in. Unless you order butter Naan exclusively, you mostly get it for free.

I had a high expectation from this restaurant but food was just average. You can visit the restaurant just for a change. Their kheer was pathetic. Very off taste nihari.

No good services and food is very bad tast, very poor quality. Just wasting time and money. They are asking 45 SAR for iftar buffet but the food quality same as 10 SAR per head 🤮 biryani without checkin 9nly rice, bread n Naan too hard, raita only Laban, checkin qoorma and Beef 🤮 also kabbab 🤮🤮😬 the maximum 👎. Even they are not allowing to start buffet before prayer Magrab so means you will eat sambosa, pakora , Chana chaat 🤮 with Rohafza only first half hour after Iftaar time. 100% inconvenience and WaAllah, it is just spoiling the tast itself.

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had while in Riyadh. Don't let the location, store front, or inside decor fool you. The food is ridiculously great at an extremely reasonable price. Flavors and portions are excellent. Service.....eh, not so much. But who cares when the food is this amazing. Wow. Unbelievably great. I am still shocked at how good the food is.

If you are looking for taste then go for it. But don’t expect high quality sitting and standards. Ok for casual dinning with friends. Family section is considerably better again for casual dining. Go for take aways and enjoy at home better.

Traditional Pakistani style Chicken Biriyani. Yummy it was and chicken was well cooked. A note to the chef: please reduce salt. Takeaway and delivery options are available. Getting a car parking space is a challenge during evenings and weekends.

They have buffet system as well as selective order system. For buffet they charge 39 PP. Many chicken dishes. Multiple type of rice, naan and curry.

Try to avoid the lunchtime as the dining area is small and it gets crowded by ppl. Go for Chicken Biryani and Chicken Jalfrezi.

Food was ok. Nothing great to be honest. Certainly not value for money. Had Mutton Handi and nan followed by Rice and Chana Daal.

As per description of my friends and family in Riyadh, khabey fell a little short. The buffet system, presentation and cleanliness is good. But 4 or 5 times we had to get up to seek the waiter for drinks, water and tissues...otherwise no hassle. The sitting place does need to get fresh flooring...

This place may seem just a regular Pakistani eatery however this was the best food I have eaten in Riyadh during two months I spent in Riyadh. Actually, I would say that was a definite Top10 places I have ever dined in. Surprisingly prices are really low and for 35-50 SAR per person you may stuff yourself more than you need. All three components of a great eatery is there then!

I tried chicken Tikka, seekh kabab, Nihari, haandi chicken and daal maash. Chicken haandi and Nihari was good along with daal maash but other two dry items were not up to the mark. Service was good, ambience was not good.

Food was good with reasonable price۔ Especially we like the BBQ۔ Atmosphere of the family section can be improved with little attention of the management (dividers and table arrangements) also cleanliness factor to be well monitored to make things hygienic۔

The WORST Chicken Karahi in the world. Even a road side thela in Lahore will make a better Karahi. They just gave a Tamatar gravy with Boiled Chicken pieces. Never ever coming back.

I don’t know about other foods they offered but in here I would like to mentioned specifically about Mutton and Chicken Karahi Along with Tarkaaa Daaal. Naaan Bread is so awesome in taste you just like sitting in Pakistan and having food around Lahore streets. ❤️❤️❤️

No stars for service and atmosphere The waiter misbehaved with my saudi female friends whom i sent ti have pakistani food For sign was open and also open on location Just shameful how people behave with ladies … why would other nationalities come to pakistani restaurants For being insulted Where the tables are dirty full in left over food plz take action against the employee Incident dated Saturday 4 pm

Food is very bland, it is probably prepared to suit the non Pakistani/Indian palate. We ordered Mutton Kadai which I'll give 1/5, not spicy at all , almost a bit sweet, portion was smaller than what's available in other places in Riyadh and was not served in a kadai as it should be. Dal mash was bit ok, it gets 3/5. Not recommended if you prefer authentic pakistani food.

Taste-wise it is the best! I've tried numerous Indian and Pakistani restaurants in Riyadh for last 3 decades. Some are expensive ones while some very cheap. But the taste of food at Lahori Khabby is unmatched to all those restaurants I have tried over the years. For me simply the best restaurant taste wise. The interior isn't that great but the taste of the food is!

I ordered nihari online and they gave me chicken It tasted worse and i ordered roti + naan they gave me rice

  • 3/5 Khuaib A. 2 years ago on Google
Yes. It's okay. The taste is not like Pakistani, but not bad. You should not visit there for a Pakistani taste. The owner of this hotel is Changed and he is not Pakistani. Although they staff is good and cooperative.Taste also good but you can't say this as Pakistani taste. It must not used the name Lahori Khaby. According to price range this hotel is too much expensive for overseas.

Food was delicious, plentiful and well presented. Biryani was awesome. Achari ghosh is a must try. Finished off nicely with a karak chai. Went for Suhoor, and fresh parathas were available outside..👌

Amazing experience. The food was extremely tasty and filling, we didn't have to wait long for our food. We would recommend the butter chicken roti. Would recommend.

Negative: We ordered mix grilled (Platter) but chicken tandoori was missing only 3 piece of Kabab and 4 very small piace of chicken tikka, No extra lemon,no chatni complete fraud with us. Waiter was not responding to us and also not looking at us. They were too busy. In Mutton Kadai Mutton was not cooked properly. Positive: Kabab was good in taste

This is a very decent restaurant serving Pakistani cuisine. The spices are not too overpowering and the behaviour of the waiters is very kind and friendly. Another important thing that can be attributed to this restaurant is that it can even be used as an everyday eatery since the food is cooked in a very hygienic way. This can also be categorised as a place where you can bring friends over too (males only). For couples I think the ambiance is not that good.

Great taste. Great staff. Great prices.

  • 1/5 ATIF A. 1 year ago on Google
Disasterious experience. Not a clean place. Not hygienic. No complimentary roti or salad or raita with servings. We ordered chicken kharahi but it came up like chicken handi full o onions and on top pre cooked. Sweet taste. I would not recommend anyone to go here.

The food was okay! This restaurant is old. The restrooms are dirty. Ambience has equal importance in deciding the dining experience. The atmosphere here made me uncomfortable. They should take proper action to solve this issue.
