one of the most comfortable place on Tahlia street, I choose this place for its outdoor seating area and nice ambiance. I stop by for a coffee break or to chat with friends. There are not many alternatives on their menu, but that is enough for me. Prices are slightly above average.

Extremely overpriced with mediocre taste. Don’t understand what the hype is all about. I got the club sandwich which was very small and costed SAR. 86 and the taste was average. For dessert I got Belgian waffles which felt like a cardboard and the sauces were in small quantity. Finally I got latte and cappuccino which was the worst tasting coffee I’ve ever had. 0/5 will not recommend it.

Our go-to-place if we want to be assured of a fine meal especially with my favorite the King Prawn and Mango Salad. Food and atmosphere never fails to satisfy us all the time, made more worth it with great service from Jomax as usual. The manager also comes to your table to check on you.

Anas provided us with a kind and excellent service. Thanks to him, I could have a good experience about this place. I highly recommend this place. Of course, the taste of Dates is great, too.

Had an amazing lunch with a group of friends. Michael was amazing, catering to a team of 15 ladies. Meals were prepared nicely and service was great. I had the Bateel style Shakshuka, it was super tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit of you are in Riyadh. Hope to come back in the future

I’m a regular at Bateels Café for breakfast and for good reason. The restaurants are clean, excellently maintained with a fine ambience and really helpful waiting staff, and a great selection of breakfast options. This time was no different and I had my elderly father with me. The meals arrived together for the six of us, the staff were supremely attentive - a big thank you to Madeleine, Michael and Patrick for looking after us and gracefully serving my father. Would definitely recommend for breakfast and for the service. Love the dates too!

The food and environment were both spectacular. The staff were very nice and respectful, the only complain I have is that they took so long for the food to come. But it's an amazing place to chill, do your work or read a book. Would definitely come back.

Love this place for their breakfast menu. Its wide and almost everything in it is delicious 😋 the ambience is great whereas the service is good. My personal favorite has to be their avocado toast and eggs benedict.

the place is super neat and clean service and hospitality is superb. for the food and deserts I can say it is the best breakfast place to choose. coffe is nice. Great breakfast choices Egg Benedict Shakshooka (special kind of Shakshooka) Eggs woth Mushroom Halloumi Toast with avocado Avocado toast French Toast Almond Corroisant Cheese croissant. They serve breadbasket with jam and butter as complementary (ask for dates butter mix) I tried two salmon main dishes and they were healthy and ok as taste. I highly recommend, worth the price.

Busy road with many coffee shops and restaurants. Outdoor seating area with has heaters. Even blankets are provided. Personnel very polite, professional service and fast. Great place to have a drink and a sweet.

I’m never easily impressed by most cafe/restaurants I go to but Bateel Cafe has been an exception! Food and service - wise, they’re excellent!!! I also personally witnessed how kind-hearted the crew was when they handed a food pack to a mentally challenged man who barged in through the dining area. The manager did not speak a word, instead he just held the man’s hand and signalled for him to wait but the man turned arund and headed to the door. The next thing I saw was that the manager was walking hurriedly to the door with a food pack in his hand. I like how the staff handled it. Thumbs up to the staff and more success to Bateel Cafe! You deserve to be the best restaurant of the year!!! God bless your business!!

The food was great! The staff were friendly but I felt unattended. Even though it was our table and another table occupied at that time of day, I had to get up from my chair multiple times to find the waiter chilling in the back.

Ive been here many times when still working here in Riyadh. Last week, I had my vacation in Riyadh and it is a must for me to visit this place again fresh from London where I currently work. I was shocked, its absolutely stunning. Its better than last year.. I had my favorite lemon ginger tea which I cant ever find in London...❤️🇸🇦. Shout out to Madeline- super fabulous!

The ambiance was great, good for catching up with friends and because of that we stayed longer than expected but the staffs were kind enough and waited for us to finish even they’re already closed. Kudos to the staffs!

Took afternoon light meal with spiced Arabic Qahwa with Bateel quality dates. Staffs are very friendly and helpful with fine service. There are many kinds of dates and stuffed dates , even dates seed coffee with special flavor. Definitely recommend to have good afternoon time here!

The desserts are fantastic! The USA doesn’t have places like Cafe Bateel. You receive 5 star waiter service in English upon arrival. The desserts are works of art and they taste even better. The coffee and teas are well presented. It’s a great place for a snack and meal, but I go for the desserts.

The place is very conducive for small groups get together. The staff are very accommodating and nice. Especially sir jomax who served us and sir martie. The coffee is delicious as well as the cakes that they served. They also have complimentary bread that goes well with the salad

I cannot say a single bad thing about this place, lovely atmosphere, absolutely delicious food no matter what you order (just go for it). I'm a regular customer so I went to other branches also and the service is top notch in all of them and the lovely worm welcoming staff are the core of this place 😘🌹 thank you guys for your hospitality.

I classify this cafe as a restaurant with a high standard food although it is expensive a bit. I recommend the Belgium waffle but not the muffins because they are cold and old.

In one word: highly Luxurious Cafe. Ambient.. staff.. food presentation..taste.. all are unique and remarkable. Good variety of meals whether breakfast or dinner. Prices expected to be higher than other places specially compared to portion size Recommend big time.

I’d recommend coming here. the foods good and appropriate for all of the times, the atmospheres quiet with a bit of background music and, the service is pretty good. i come here maybe once a week, on alternating days and times, so, i can safely say, id recommend coming here, especially before 2 its so relaxing! The only thing I don’t like is the parking, there aren’t too many spaces and sometimes, it takes a while to find a place to park. other then that 5/5!

I was stopped by to drink a famous iced cappuccino at Cafe Bateel today. As usual, it's very fresh and delicious. My waiter, Patrick, was an awesome guy and he took care me very nicely. I will recommend this wonderful cafe to anyone who visits to Riyadh.

Loved the breakfast! it had so many tasty options with great descriptions. i had the açaí bowl with passion fruit smoothie and it was amazing. The costumer service was good and all the servers, especially our server Micheal, were welcoming and sweet.

Always go for the Egg Benedict with avocado and mushrooms on the side, and Date French Toast. TRUST ME ITS ADDICTING.

The staff really helped us to choose coffee that best suits our taste. Kuya is very nice and accommodating and gave us complementary sweets since it’s our first time here. It’s a good place to chill, great service and hospitable staffs.

Love the atmosphere and the service was great. Well accomodated by the staff and your comfort is their priority. We did not expect the sudden change of weather when we went there and the staff provided us with blankets and offered warmers. Food was great and coffee was unique. Prices are just as good.
