We
are
neighbors
to
Whitehall
and
have
been
patronizing
this
restaurant
for
years.
Our
favorite
server,
Savannah,
is
always
so
sweet
and
professional.
It’s
staff
members
like
her
who
we
appreciate
and
keep
coming
back
for.
Unfortunately
we’ve
noticed
an
unfortunate
shift
at
Whitehall
in
recent
months
and
I
feel
called
to
write
a
review.
The
restaurant
is
under
new
management
and
it
is
now
under
QT’s
rules.
We’ve
noticed
that
the
menu
no
longer
includes
drink
prices
and
our
drinks
are
now
50%
more
expensive.
While
we
understand
that
restaurants
are
increasing
prices
across
the
board
we
still
feel
like
the
new
Whitehall
menu
is
taking
advantage
of
this
and
being
greedy
with
prices.
Someone
who
knows
a
lot
about
WH
(not
Savannah
of
course)
confirmed
that
the
new
manager
chose
to
remove
prices
and
increased
drink
costs
to
trick
customers.
We
weren’t
surprised
to
hear
this.
Why
else
would
you
increase
prices
and
simultaneously
remove
the
numbers
from
the
menu?
Last
week
I
ordered
a
*house*
red
wine
and
was
shocked
to
be
billed
$15
per
glass
of
wine.
If
I
wanted
a
$15
glass
of
wine
I’d
go
down
the
street
to
Storico
Fresco
and
get
a
nicer
glass.
The
house
tequila
used
to
cost
$6
but
is
now
$9
for
a
well
drink.
I
recently
ordered
my
go-to
item,
the
bacon
cheeseburger
tacos,
and
they
came
out
looking
completely
different
than
they
used
to
look.
They
were
sad
and
skimpy-
I
can’t
help
but
feel
like
this
new
manager
is
instructing
the
cooks
to
skimp
on
the
meat
and
toppings.
If
he’s
being
greedy
on
the
price
of
drinks
he’s
probably
trying
to
cut
corners
elsewhere
too.
Whitehall
has
been
one
of
our
favorite
local
haunts
but
these
changes
are
disturbing
to
us
and
we
will
be
exploring
other
nearby
options
for
dining
in
the
future.
I’m
still
giving
the
restaurant
three
stars
because
we’ve
been
happy
for
so
long
but
with
recent
changes
it
should
really
be
only
one
or
two
stars.
