We decided to keep the party going by stopping into the Steamhouse Lounge and we got off to a rocky start. We decided to sit on the upper patio and seat ourselves. Unfortunately the only table available was pretty dirty but I’ve served before and I know what it’s like to be jam packed, often times it takes a little while to clear if you don’t have a busier. So I had to clean my own table and grab my own cutlery and menu etc. But once the waiter got around to me he was super attentive, the drinks and the tequila were strong and the lobster bisque had decently sized chunks of lobster. I’d definitely give this place another try!

While the service was great and very friendly, the food is just average and bland. The mussels were in a yummy buttery sauce but I prefer everything else we ordered to be more flavorful and seasoned. The lobster roll, while being priced very fair, was what you’d except for the price and nothing special. We also got a seafood boil, again, wasn’t seasoned like you’d expect a boil to be. If you want to go to a restaurant that is geared to cater a large group with different taste levels, this would be a good place. Nice atmosphere on the rooftop, and solid margs. But overall I’d dine somewhere else next time I want this type of food.

Love to come here and sit on the patio on the second floor. Great food, good serves and drinks are always on point. I usually come for or leave with a bowl of the lobster bisque…it so good!!! Had the stuffed grouper and dozen oysters. My friend had the lobster roll salad and crablegs. Always a good chill time.

A very comfortable atmosphere that was clean and extended very friendly customer service all around. I was very glad that the food was served hot instead of slightly warm like many restaurants in the ATL. The pepperjack grits were really creamy and very good and the lobster bisque was also very, very good. I would definitely like to return here!

Super chill place for some seafood. Sit where ever you want, upstairs, downstairs or outside and wait to be served. THE LOBSTER BISQUE IS ON POINT!!! It was piping hot and had shreds of lobsters. They sell it by the cup, bowl or quart if you want to take it home, which I did. The raw oysters and raw shrimp ( Half & Half) tasted very fresh. Oh and try the Chocoldipped Key Lime Pie.🤌Everything was so good I forgot to take more pictures 😅

Incredible - delicious food - great and fast service - best oyster restaurant I have ever been to. I had a dozen raw oysters - they were large, super cold and delicious. Next I tried the Lobster Bisque - amazing! Decided to stuff myself and tried the crab cake next - delicious... full of crab meat and cooked perfectly along with a side of cole slaw. Bill only came to $45 and that included two beers. If you're a seafood fan don't pass this place up!! Hoping to make it back again this week while I am in town for business.

My family first time here we are from Douglasville it was my granddaughter birthday she turned 10 and wanted seafood so the concierge from the Hyatt recommend The steam house lounge. The food was magnificent and the service was awesome and our server who is Ethiopian and from Jamaica was great and friendly plus I am a connoisseur of Bannas foster but my first time having a Bannas foster cheese cake was to die for. Me and my wifey are already planning a date night to come back.

Food and beers were amazing! The Crab stuffed Grouper, Lobster Bisque, and Chocolate Dipped Key Lime pie were delicious! They offer a good variety of local beers. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Love the outdoor seating area and good friendly staff. Raw oysters 🦪 fresh and good size, although not the most flavorful but usually the smaller the size the bolder flavor. I especially love 💕 the Lobster Bisque, lots of lobster 🦞 meats, creamy and not overpowering with the seafood taste. Mussels is mussels as long as it's fresh and not fishy bc for me is the sauce, the garlic 🧄 bread that went with it is to die for. We asked for more garlic bread to dip the remaining sauce, yeah is good! Fried Buffalo Shrimp ehhh just don't order it, why is it so salty?! And the batter just not good.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. If it's your first time eating oysters. (Like me) start with the sampler to get a variety of tastings.

Steamboat Lounge has a very casual and laid back atmosphere with great vibes. I love the option of seating yourself as this is a big part of the dining experience. There’s an upstairs, downstairs and outside seating. The food was absolutely spectacular. I opted to get the lobster bisque and the skillet Low country boil. My girlfriend selected the crab stuffed grouper and it was a fantastic selection. Parking is a little challenging so don’t waste your time circling the block and get valet. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant for great food and a very nice environment

My wife and I went to Steamboat for my birthday. I enjoyed our sever as we sat upstairs in a small room, which we had to ourselves until a party of three came at the end of our meal. Our food was very good and we had alittle grown folks drink which was tasty. We will come back again because I enjoyed the Steamhouse Lounge very much. Real Score 4.4

Stopped in here for lunch during the week. Place has a really cool vibe to it, like a boat house on the outside/inside. All three of us had the fish and chips and were not disappointed. Jalapeno tartur sauce went really well with the fish and wasn't too spicy, just added a lot of flavor. Fish had a good crunch to it and was very flavorful. Staff was friendly as well.

This place has been on the list to visit for a while and I finally made it there.  They have valet parking when you drive up to the restaurant on the 11th street side. There is also a public parking lot(not free) that is opposite the restaurant on West Peachtree street.  The restaurant itself has seating all over the place. There are 2 levels with outside seating options on both levels. You seat yourself and we chose the outside seating on the 2nd floor. It was the perfect setup for us. Wifey ordered the steamed crabs and I ordered the crab stuffed halibut.  We both loved our meal and wifey had enough crabs to take home. They had a pretty good beer selection, I don’t think they had anything on tap, everything was either a can or bottle.  Our server was nice, but it seemed like she was covering a bunch of tables. We enjoyed Steamhouse and we will be back.

A hidden gem. I haven't really liked seafood in Atlanta, but that's not the case for here. I tried their famous lobster bisque, and it lived up to its reputation. It has just the right amount of spice and cream. I also got a salmon BLT, which was great too.

First, the Halloween decor is so fun and on point, love it! Second the pepper jack grits, if I could eat that everyday I totally would. Overall great food, calamari appetizers and fish dip were both great, the shrimp tacos were tasty. Very happy with all of it! Would definitely go back when I'm in town again.

Not fancy and we liked it! Great seafood! We got a dozen oyster, lobster rolls, and veggies. The Lobster Bisque is good even though it's not Maine. Highly recommend if you're craving seafood and looking for something easy.

This place was great, a little short staffed but the waitress Molly was awesome. As you can see I had a dozen oysters that was raw, shrimp basket with some well cooked hush puppies. The whole meal was delicious.

Our server Danielle was super excellent and friendly. She was fast, polite, and courtesy. The food was also great. If my wife and I are ever in the Atlanta area again we will definitely come back here. Oysters are superb here.

I dream of lobster bisque… Everything here is amazing, but the bisque is a religious experience (no offense). It’s one of my must eats in Atlanta!

Omg this place is such a nice dive vibe. The patio is perfect outside especially while the sun is setting. The food was really good. I ordered the grilled red snapper dinner, no substitutions. Also ordered hush puppies and calamari both were delicious. Can't wait to try their crab legs. The mango Margarita was tasty too. FREE VALET! Don't forget to tip them!

Ms. Cheese is a awesome waitress and it was very nice talking with someone who knew the old-school Atlanta late night 🌙 crowd from the old daze! Food was excellent and my daughter really enjoyed the lobster roll & bisque. Thanks again for the wonderful afternoon and trip down memory lane.

My husband and I were looking for a laid-back place to have a meal around 5pm on a Friday. Steamhouse Lounge was the place. He had fried catfish and I had steamed mussels with a side of hush puppies. The meals plus ice cold beers made a great start to the weekend. Max, the waiter, was fun and engaging. We recently moved to the neighborhood and it was wonderful to find this Nawlins style eatery an easy within walking distance. We will be back!

Best Seafood in ATL! Bev -- big beer selection with some classics in tow. Not sure they have draft beer, but their great selection of brews and cocktails more than makes up for it in variety. Rocked my fav, Sweetwater 420 x 2 in a glass. Perfect with seafood!! Food -- had a dozen oysters and they were fantastic!!! Big and meaty and the cocktail sauce and horseradish that came with was perfect amount. Tabasco regular and Jalapeno as as Chef's Cajun were available as hot sauce. Had a cup of Lobster Bisque and it was amazing!! Service -- food came out within 5 minutes, no joke. Service was prompt, friendly, And helpful. Scene/Space -- perfect interiors and inside for a seafood joint. It may not be on the beach, but you get the great vibes of sun, seafood, and beer in the heart of ATL. Overall -- one of best seafood spots in ATL!!!

Oysters? In Georgia? Yup. And they are amazing. Even for my miami taste. We got a dozen raw oysters, the garlic char grilled oysters, and the lobster bisque for starters. WOW. All amazing, all so fresh and paired well with a draft beer. For entrees, I got the fried shrimp and she got the po boy shrimp… both amazing. However it was the shrimp that made the dish (as well as the jalapeño tartar sauce). We ended it off with a frozen chocolate covered key lime pie. Everything was great!! Will come back again.

The oyster sampler was very tasty. All three were very good, I couldn't pick just one favorite. The shrimp & grits was the bomb! The grits were very creamy & everything was well seasoned. Definitely going to be my go to spot for oysters.

Everything about this seafood house in ATL is amazing. The service and food is some of the best i have received in ATL. Our favorite thing to do is get a couple appetizers with a lobster roll & lobster bisque. The appetizers are fairly priced and you will want to try all of them, they do not disappoint! Valet is free and only $2 on the weekends!

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
