Stayed here for a staycation. Rooms are small, but cute. Hotel bar makes great drinks. Location is great for walking places. But staying at this hotel is 100% not worth the price. You’re paying for novelty, with virtually no luxury (and a loud night compliments of the lounge). I’d rather spend the same amount at a different hotel in town with actual amenities (like room service, etc.), bigger facilities, and a luxurious space.

We had a lovely time! Really want to go again to stay longer. It's definitely an experience! Enjoyed the really hot water showers. Hope they check and fix the soap pump in the sink and the conditioner pump in the shower. Thank you so much for everything! And, if you don't have room for a microwave in the closet, maybe consider adding them on the office desk? The winter was 35°. We really appreciated the water bottles, but would have been nice to make some hot tea before bed instead of the coffee from the coffee maker.

Awesome hotel that I highly recommend. Very clean, quiet and in a great location. My wife and I booked a room at the last minute after having dinner/drinks at Tiny Lou’s and had a great experience overall. The bar has plenty of space to relax and enjoy your drink. Chloe was our bartender and she was super cool and personable. We’ll definitely be returning even if it’s just to have a few drinks. Bummed that we couldn’t visit the rooftop but the weather wasn’t cooperating. Maybe next time…

What a great time. The whole experience start to end was perfect. Valet was friendly, the front desk was friendly. We ate at Tiny Lou's twice it was so wonderful. The room was spacious and very clean. The water temp could have been higher in the shower, but everything else was perfect. I wish I had the money to tip every single person I interacted with, they all deserve raises.

Hotel Clermont was one of my all time favorite hotel stays. First off, I wanted to take the decor home with me. It makes for a super cool ambiance. Secondly, I really appreciate all of the thoughtful touches, from water bottles in the rooms, to loofahs in the shower, to good quality tea and coffee in the cafe, all free to guests. Most importantly, the bed is super comfortable and the location is fantastic. The only thing I'd note (more for folks who are easily distracted by noise at night) is that if you have a room facing Ponce de Leon, the noise from the street can easily be heard (we were on floor 4 for reference). Even at that, they provide ear plugs in the room. Fantastic stay, I will absolutely return!

We stayed in a big suite last year and loved it. We We’ve told many people about it. This time we’re in a bigger king room on the 2nd floor. We got home about midnight and there is music blaring and the walls and floor are banging with the base from the club on the floor below us. Unbelievable. I am so mad and upset. The club stays open til 3am and we were told there are no other rooms to move us to. I hope we Can get some sleep and get our money back tomorrow and move hotels or something.

Accommodating staff upon check in. Excellent valet. Well decorated beautiful clean hotel, convenient location, right in the heart of Ponce highlands. Walkable to Ponce Food Hall city market and great breakfast across the street. You could tell their team takes great pride in creating a memorable stay for each of their guests. Rooftop taco truck and cocktail bar with amazing views is a delight for locals and guests alike. Cafe serves up a fantastic latte. The double queen room was very spacious, clean with great ambient lighting. Bathtub was a bit shallow. Beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Good atmosphere and close to everything. The ambiance is cool glam and serene, offering a delightful experience.

The skyline view from the rooftop was everything! The bar offered summertime curated cocktails and the music was perfect. I ordered a lemon drop and my husband ordered the island ting. Both of our cocktails had a refreshing flavor. I love that there was multiple seating options to view the skyline.

Decided to book myself a birthday stay at Hotel Clermont, even though I am an Atlanta local. Best decision ever! The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like it reeks of history. My cousin and I were discussing how to describe it and we came up with “Deco Mid-century Kitsch.” Every part of the hotel was so adorable! We all giggled over the mirror surprise in the lobby restroom. We filled up my phone with selfies all over the place. The service is absolutely unbeatable. Loved the complimentary beverage at check-in. Every single person we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. The evening valet we met, Cory, was a rock star! When he came to check in my car, he asked why I was staying, and when I told him it was my birthday, every other time we saw him during the evening he would break out into a line of “happy birthday to you.” Really made me feel special! When Cory took the car, he explained exactly how the text ticket worked, which was great, because I have never encountered that one before. The system worked out really, really well. Bijan, the morning valet, who brought my car back as we checked out was equally delightful. He lifted my luggage into the car for me and asked how I liked my stay. We even had a couple of minutes for a chat, and he told me the most marvelous story about how his parents met! I also have to call out the barista, Patrick. He is perfectly charming! He treats every guest so warmly, and let me attest the gent knows his way around the coffee! The espresso he made me was fantastic. Perfectly balanced, great crema. That’s not an easy task. I didn’t catch the name of the man who was behind the front desk when we came back from dinner (mid-20’s maybe, dark hair and black-framed glasses), but I needed a Tylenol, and he went on an absolute hunt before he was sure they didn’t have any. That’s the kind of attention to your customers that you can not fake. The only issue I had was that all the furniture was set too low to the floor. Whoever did the interior design didn’t seem to take into account that there might be guests like me with some mobility issues. We sat in the lobby to play a board game in the evening and when I tried to get up from the very low settee, it rolled and I ended up on the floor! (Color me embarrassed!) At least one or two chairs in that common area ought to have a higher seat level and sturdy legs just to be sure everyone who stays can enjoy the area safely. Overall, I loved it there and would absolutely stay again. In fact, we were already talking about checking in again next year in the summer so we could spend more time on the gorgeous rooftop!

The Hotel Clermont and it’s rooms have an old fashion / retro look. The staff go out of their way to be both friendly and helpful. It’s within walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. However, be aware that the rooms are not very soundproof. I could hear the noisy and busy traffic outside my window as well as my neighbor’s loud snoring. Fortunately for me the front desk staff gave me not one but two Dohm Sound Machines to drown out the noise. That help out a bunch with sleeping at night.

This was an interesting stay. The vibe was definitely more party than luxury. Not a place I’d go for a relaxing getaway or bring a family, but good for a party weekend. There is an adult entertainment lounge on property. The rooftop bar had a nice view, but was absolutely packed. People were aggressively staring and circling for any chance to grab a chair, which was off-putting. 12 other people crammed themselves into the elevator to the rooftop bar, despite there being a 10 person limit which made me very uncomfortable. I did not feel safe with the guestroom floors being easily accessible to every and any person on their way to the rooftop bar via the elevator. The room was well decorated and clean. The noise was overwhelming from the street and bar/lounges at nighttime and then from the gym across the street bright and early the next morning. Not worth the $400/night I paid. The common areas were beautiful and the cafe seemed very well stocked. I’d come back for a bachelorette party, but not for a romantic getaway.

Absolutely adorable hotel. Located in a great central area of downtown Atlanta. Close to a lot of bars, shopping and venues. Parking on site for 20 dollars a day was a little steep but was fine for us since we had a short stay. The staff was lovely, we were greeted with champagne and check in was easy and quick. When we checked out the hotel staff we passed in the halls were lovely and thanked us for our stay. I loved the vintage feel to this place, everything had a personal touch in the room. The bed was comfy and squishy. Everything seemed very clean and well kept up. Price is comparable to the Hilton around the corner and this place has such great personality. Rooms were small, and no mini fridge. There was a restaurant and bar there that we did not have a chance to enjoy but I did hear reservations would of been needed had we wanted to. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this classic Atlanta hotel.

Overall not too bad. My room was right by a service area so the first night I was there it was very loud. I asked to get moved to a quiet room but they were booked solid. I barely got to sleep that night. The second night was a little better. It’s an old hotel and it feels like it. I had traveled all day and I wanted a strong drink or two but the bar was closed for a private event. I can see how someone younger and cooler than myself might enjoy it but I prefer more modern amenities.

We had a wonderful stay-cation here between Christmas and New Year's and came away very impressed by every part of our stay! Check-in and check-out were easy, the valet parking was easy (I know people balk at the price, but it's on par with any hotel parking in Atlanta right now), and the room was lovely. It was a bit small but it's a vintage property, so that's to be expected. The bathroom was great (fantastic shower and toiletries) and the overall aesthetic and level of service were great. If I had one wish, it's that the rooms had a mini-fridge so we could have kept our leftovers from our meal at Tiny Lou's (which was top-notch as well). But that's not a dealbreaker at all when the total experience was so impressive. We will be back!

Stayed for just one night with my 2 teenage sons, so having a bunk room was great! No sharing a bed for any of us. The room was very clean and comfortable, the hotel was super cute. Good location with a lot of tasty restaurants nearby and easy access to downtown. We'd definitely stay here again!

I had a great time staying here. You can see the care and love in every detail. Being able to text the front desk also makes everything a lot easier. My only complaint is that the price is on the higher end, but you do get what you're paying for.

We stayed here for the weekend to see a show at the Fox Theater. It’s not close enough to walk, but a Lyft was just a few dollars. The hotel is within walking distance of Ponce City Market. We really liked it here. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. They provided ear plugs, but we didn’t need them, even with the rooftop bar just above our room. The view from the roof is great. The rooftop bar was an interesting experience for a short time. I found it overly crowded and loud. If I were 30 years younger, I might have loved it. The hotel has a couple of bars, a restaurant and a coffee shop Staff here were friendly and efficient.

I live in the city. Clermont is a great place to have drinks on their rooftop. Great skyline views and don't forget to try their gourmet fires in the restaurant. The food is a little pricey but good.

We had the pleasure of photographing a wedding here, as well as being a guest of the hotel. 5 stars for each, this place is an absolute gem.

Been wanting to stay at this restaurant for years now and finally went for valentines weekend. Its within walking distance of alot of places. We did valet which was $45 a night but that's the norm for Atlanta. The front desk person Taylor was really nice and accommodating. Anything we needed we got immediately. Thanks for the champagne!!! I really have no complaints about the hotel other than they need a full length mirror in the rooms. The bed was super comfy and I am usually very uncomfortable in a hotel bed.

My family always looks to stay at Hotel Clermont when we're in Atlanta. If you prefer a boutique experience with originality and design quirks, this place is for you. Delightfully, much of the hotel's original charm and character has been preserved. The rooms are comfortable with refined touches such as a velvet divan or clawfoot tub. The rooftop is a must at sunset. Regarding, the staff- the valet service is top notch, the wait staff/ bartenders are efficient and knowledgeable and, lastly, the front desk team is cordial and can be easily reached via text. Highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Clermont for our weekend getaway after our wedding reception, and I couldn't recommend it enough! We booked The Flossie suite, which is generously spacious with its living area, bar, closet, bedroom and massive bathroom - complete with a standalone tub and huge shower area. The design and aesthetic are as chic as can be with its 50s/retro decor and furnishings, perfect for little photo ops and a total immersion into the aura of Clermont. The staff were beyond pleasant with the booking, check-in and check-out processes, even going the extra mile to leave us some sweet, congratulatory notes in our room. The area is perfect for walkability as well. Throughout our weekend, we walked down to PCM and the Beltline for some prime people-watching, caught a showing at the Plaza Theatre, grabbed a snack at The Wurst Beer Hall, and went out for a nightcap at The Local. The hotel itself also has great amenities should you wish to stay put for your stay. Tiny Lou's dinner and desserts were as classy as they were delicious, and the hotel's rooftop bar can pour whatever your liver desires. I'm hoping that we'll have an excuse to stay there again soon!

Nice but wouldnt stay again for the price. Pulling through the front of the hotel, a guy outside in a hawaiian shirt yelled AY AY AY WHOA WHERE YOU GOING? I didn't know he worked at the hotel so I had a bit of an attitude but later I saw that hawaiian shirts are employee attire so I felt bad?? I guess he was trying to stop me to tell me that it's valet only but I was driving by to find parking on a nearby residential street so didn't need it. The hotel itself is very pretty, nice rooftop with a great taco truck. But the room was dank. Dark and cold but weirdly humid. Smelled old. The bed was okay but the pillows were absolutely horrible my neck was killing me after we left. Overall it wasn't a bad stay but it most definitely wasn't worth the price given that it's in the same range as other nearby hotels with much nicer rooms and service

What took me so long to check this place out. It’s so cute and just my style! I was invited on a date and it was perfect. We had dinner and drinks in the library then took it to the rooftop. It was a lovely experience.

Such style, history and comfort! Clermont balances a delicate blend of keeping it casual and an occasion. We go to stay for special occasions or just because. We’ve thrown receptions there or gone to Tiny Lou’s or their incredible rooftops for a nice evening out. If I were a city club person, and the Clermont had a membership, I’d have one and be there all the time. It’s my place of choice.

I recently had the most incredible experience at the Clermont Boutique Hotel, and I couldn't wait to share it with everyone. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel's beautiful aesthetic, reminiscent of the 70s and 80s era. It truly added a unique and nostalgic charm to my stay. Upon check-in, I was warmly greeted by the staff, and to my delight, I discovered a bottle of champagne and a thoughtful birthday card waiting for me in my room. The personal touch made me feel incredibly valued and appreciated. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Tiny Lou's, the hotel's restaurant. The entire experience was nothing short of enchanting. The ambiance was elegant, the service was impeccable, and the food was a true culinary delight. It was a memorable evening that exceeded my expectations. I also had the pleasure of enjoying the rooftop amenities offered by the Clermont Boutique Hotel. The panoramic views were breathtaking, and it provided the perfect setting to unwind and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. To top off the night, I made my way to the Clermont Lounge located at the bottom of the hotel. The entertainment and lively atmosphere made for an unforgettable evening. My experience at the Clermont Boutique Hotel was truly exceptional, and I'm already planning my next visit. Next time, I'll make sure to vlog my entire experience because it's something I want to share with the world. The hotel's attention to detail, the warm hospitality, and the overall ambiance create an unforgettable stay that keeps calling you back for more. Thank you, Clermont Boutique Hotel, for making my birthday celebration and staycation an absolutely amazing experience.

So my husband and I randomly found this hotel on a trip to Atlanta in 2021 and have been going here since. It is our go to spot in Atlanta. I’m actually sitting at the bar right now as I write this because I didn’t want to forget to write this long do review. The front desk staff are so so freaking sweet and helpful. I think that we have seen just about a majority of the front desk staff and all of them are helpful. They have gone above and beyond on our most recent trips. In October we were staying and I was moving slow due to a migraine on the day we were checking out. They let me rest and checked in when I finally made my way downstairs. Today we got upgraded twice. First time we got in super early from our early morning flight. Not only were they able to accommodate an early check in but also upgraded us from our room. Later in the evening we realized that there was a minor problem with our room and they moved us to another room that was an upgrade. I even said it was no big deal but they insisted. We recommend Hotel Clermont to all of our friends who visit Atlanta. We will certainly be back soon.

My wife and I stayed here on business this weekend. Absolutely charming staff, who bent over backwards to assist us with any question we had. A wonderful hotel with every detail examined to make it personal, unique and a truly lovely place to spend time. How completely refreshing from the standard dull corporate hotels. Well done everyone and we look forward to our return. Tom & Claire, England.

Really nice rooms. Service was great. Location was also great. Near many restaurants, Wholefoods, Ponce City Market, and beltline. I traveled with my 6 month old son. They provided me with a playpen which served as a crib. The bed was very comfortable. Rooftop bar was nice. The decor was my favorite part. A beautiful hotel.

Playful hotel, super trendy, spacious and comfortable! Bathroom hardware was top notch, great shower experience. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious and the rooftop has great views of the city. The hotel is by some majors roads, therefore, it can be a little loud. The toilet paper they use is rough, that could be improved. Overall a very good experience, I would stay here again happily.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Clermont for one evening while we were in town. we had a warm welcome and loved the complementary glass of Champagne! We thought the hotel history was fascinating and loved the recent renovation. It still feels very historical with lots of character. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend it!

Wonderful stay! Located in the heart of Atlanta, walking distance to great Atlanta attractions. The room was unique, clean, and so cute. The only disappointment was the absence of a microwave and fridge in our room for the amount that we paid. It would have been nice to have a place to store drinks and leftovers. Overall the staff, decor, and ambiance were amazing definitely will stay here on my next trip to ATL

My wife knowing that I knew of this hotel from back in the 1970’s when it’s reputation was a bit off center thought would be ideal to celebrate my birthday in the totally renovated BY OLIVER building. She was on point. From entry, to exit was wonderful. Easy check in. The room was amazingly decorated and the bathroom was a dream. Did not visit the bar, though was appealing. However, the restaurant TINY LOU’S was superb serving French-American brasserie. Thanks for a wonderful birthday experience.

My partner and I loved this place. The amazing location, amazing decor, and the staff were extremely nice. Walking distance to the ponce city market and many restaurants. The rooftop bar, tiny lous, and the coffee shop were all nice to have so close. When we arrived we were greeted with a free beer and champagne. The only complaint is that parking is either street parking or valet. Luckily there is a lot of street parking but being from out of town I was worried about getting towed or broken into, but my truck ended up being fine. If we want to stay in the city of Atlanta again and have another fun night, we will stay here. Slightly pricy but worth it.

  • 5/5 Kimberly H. 1 year ago on Google
Wow! This is definitely one of my favorite stays in ATL. Everyone is super friendly. Complimentary drink upon arrival and coffee/tea 24/7. The decor is dark and cozy but vibrant at the same time. Tiny Lou’s is downstairs and the food was yummy. It was a solo stay this time. Didn’t get to the rooftop because it was too cold and didn’t make it to The Clermont Lounge. BUT, I will definitely be returning and won’t miss them the next time around. Loved my bunk room which sleeps 4. It would be a great place to spend a weekend with friends, which is what I intend to do!

  • 4/5 Stacy B. 1 year ago on Google
It's hip, but the decor is very dark. I had a quad room with 4 bunk beds. It was a big room, but really dark and in the basement. I wouldn't say this hotel is 4 star. It does have a happening bar and restaurant and the people who work there are easy on the eyes for sure.

  • 4/5 Nidia S. 1 year ago on Google
Beautiful hotel with an amazing restaurant and rooftop bar. A little loud at night because Clermont Lounge (a strip club?) is in the same building. Steps away from the Ponce City Market and walking distance to the belt line. Will definitely visit again next time I’m in Atlanta.

The hotel was stunning. I am especially very thankful for Lydia at the front desk. When we told her we felt uncomfortable with specific guests that were in the room next to us, she didn’t hesitate to immediately switch our room to a different floor. We love women supporting women ♥️. And also at the front desk, Laura was apologetic and accommodating by offering us extra welcoming champagne upon hearing about our uncomfortable experience with that specific group of guests. We felt very safe and cared for by these women! Great stay!

Loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly and loved all the little touches like the coffee, custom bath products, and the decor! Made my stay in Atlanta special! Walking distance to a a delicious coffee shop and lots of good restaurants! I would come back in a heartbeat!

We paid $5 a person to go to the rooftop and buy drinks there. While we were sipping our drinks enjoying the view we were asked to move out of an entire section of the rooftop for a private party. We paid for the view and then had it taken away without any warning when the purchase was made. The Clermont Hotel team are a bunch of hucksters, charlatans, and snake-oil salesmen. The oft slandered Clermont Lounge has a much higher degree of business and personal respectability than the business folks upstairs.

We loved this hotel! It was super clean, the folks are really friendly, and we never felt unsafe. Valet is expensive af, but I guess that’s to be expected. There was a little noise at night from the road and from folks returning from going out, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be after seeing ear plugs on the nightstand. Our room was on the 4th floor facing a side road. We do wish there was a mini fridge. There was good water pressure in the shower and the toiletries smelled really nice. We would totally stay here again in the future.

It's nice. We ate at Tiny Lu's, with drinks in the bar before dinner. Service was sloppy all the way through. I was in the hospitality half my life, and 10 years of that was at the Ritz Carlton. So I noticed things. When we pulled up to the front, the vallet opened the passenger side door, and handed him the valet ticket. They never did come around and open my door, and I was driving. (and of course, tipping) When we sat at the bar they took the drinks, but didn't wipe up the bar from the previous people's. So I had to ask them to do that. At the price point of this restaurant, I would think that they would be a little bit more on the ball. The onion soup appetizer would make Julia Child's proud. The bread, on the other hand, had enough salt on the top, to send someone into stroke. Also, when they served our first entree, we had to send them back because the scallops had already turned, and and were inedible. I was very disappointed, because I love scallops, and it was the reason we chose that restaurant. I then order the other Seafood dish on the menu, swordfish. It was presented on a puddle of extra mushi, overly buttered, mashed potatoes and gravy and topped with five pepper peppercorn. The chef sure loves the salt and pepper in this restaurant. We eschewed desert, to grab a drink from the bar and have and look at the city from the redesigned rooftop. Again to our disappointment, the bar had already closed and the curtains have been drawn. The valet returned my car but had moved my seat so drastically that I had to re-engage it in order to be able to drive. So many little things. Overall, I doubt if I'll be rushing back.

I'm currently staying at the Hotel Clermont and the ambience of this stay is very eclectic. My boyfriend wanted to surprise me with a different vibe and The Hilton doesn't even closely compare! Impeccable customer service as well!

Malaya was very wonderful recognized and used our names the entire time. Extremely welcoming and very helpful the entire time All the staff was great especially Tom checking in with our bags. The bartender grant made some very tasty beverages. Really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop after everything closed down it was like our own private view of Atlanta. Will definitely be staying there again! The bed was super comfortable and gigantic. The shower was specially nice. The location in the neighborhood was super easy to walk around to restaurants and bars.

I’m never quick to leave a negative review but some changes definitely need to be made which is why I leave the review. I will start by saying this is meant to be a historic hotel which explains some aspects of the hotel. For the price of the hotel I believe that services like unpacking your car should be a given. Opening the door for guests especially since they have to carry their own luggage and there’s no automatic doors should also be a requirement. There are no luggage carts until you get to the front desk which is inconvenient. The front desk staff was very accommodating and did offer complementary champagne. Upon entering our (my friends and I) first room the couch was wet and the bunk room is tiny which explains why the pictures only show half of the room. We switched rooms and the other room had a toilet that did not work well, we were not able to control the air for a day and eventually we saw a bug in the restroom. We switched our room once again. Our last room was fine, there was a bit of an old smell like maybe it hadn’t been used but no complaints there. The rooms are comfortable and cute. I have no problem with the more historic eclectic vibes. The bathroom was cute and the water was great. The rooftop is a great place to eat breakfast or study. The main area to warm up food was nice as well. I do wish there were some rooms with a refrigerator at least. I am not super familiar with the area but it’s not an upscale area I definitely heard someone outside yelling in the early morning hours because the property is kind of open to the road. Little things I noticed-a handful of valet guys were super nice and greeted us on arrival while others did not or didn’t even get the door. They are the first people you see at the hotel that’s quite unacceptable, maybe a bell man is needed. I say all this to say, I don’t believe it’s worth it for the price. Even with the 45$ valet parking which is cheap compared to many hotels you end up carrying luggage, no greeting, no one to help with the door or anything. Management did meet us half way by supplying a small percentage refund which was the least that could be done. Could’ve just been a bad experience but I appreciate the accommodations that were made during my stay and the friendly staff that I came into contact with.

I have no complaints from the restaurant or rooftop bar. Both were great experiences, but there could be improvements to the rooms. -It seems off to me that with a restaurant with such great food, you don't at least offer a refrigerator in the rooms. I had no way to keep my leftovers from spoiling. - All 3 nights I was there, I couldn't keep myself cool, I woke up several times in the night sweating each night, adjusting the temperature and settings every night to no avail. - When I pay for a room, I would expect maybe a small fee at most for parking, but $20 A NIGHT is ridiculous. There are public parking places that would have charged half that, if I couldn't find street parking. This is a 4 star hotel, but doesn't even offer 2-star commodities. I feel you're paying for everything else but the room when you stay here. It was a nice, local experience, but I'll just look for a hotel chain next time. Edit: No one at the front told me at check in that overnight parking/valet was $20 a night. Only that Valet wasn't available tonight (Monday). So why was I charged for "valet parking" for the night it wasn't available? How much extra would it have been to have a fridge delivered to the room a night? And going 3 floors down to a "24 hour fridge" sounds a bit inclusive for my personal food.
