We were very happy with our experience at Howell’s Kitchen. The drinks were very good. Our server was great at suggesting drinks and food for us to try, since it was our first time there. The pizza was so delicious. I saw several to go order with just pizza boxes. The one I pictured is the small one! The portions are big and you will be so full! I couldn’t finish my burger.

Howell's Kitchen and Bar is a hidden gem, tucked away in a tranquil corner that offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment I stepped into this charming establishment, I was enchanted by its understated elegance and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Howell's is its breathtaking sunset option. The outside area is nothing short of a picturesque setting for a memorable dining experience. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the surroundings, you can't help but be captivated by the beauty of it all. It's the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening or a peaceful dinner with friends. Now, let's talk about the food. I had the pleasure of trying the steak frites, and I must say it was a revelation. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a juicy interior and a delightful seared crust that locked in all the savory flavors. The frites, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, were the ideal complement to the steak. It was a harmonious pairing that left my taste buds dancing with joy. What truly impressed me about Howell's Kitchen and Bar is their commitment to culinary excellence. The menu boasts a well-curated selection of dishes, each prepared with care and precision. Whether you're a steak enthusiast like me or have a penchant for other culinary delights, you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds. Beyond the food, the service at Howell's is impeccable. The staff exudes warmth and professionalism, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. They're attentive without being intrusive, always ready with a helpful suggestion or a friendly smile. As I savored my meal on the patio, with the gentle breeze and the stunning sunset as my companions, I couldn't help but appreciate the serenity and magic that Howell's Kitchen and Bar offers. It's a place where you can escape the noise of the world and savor delectable cuisine in an idyllic setting. In conclusion, Howell's Kitchen and Bar is a quiet haven of culinary delights and natural beauty. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience that lingers in your memory. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner or a tranquil retreat with friends, Howell's is the perfect choice. And as for the steak frites, it's an absolute must-try that might just redefine your expectations of this classic dish. I can confidently say that Howell's Kitchen and Bar is a hidden treasure worth discovering.

Very beautiful environment! Loved the pizzas! Very fresh! I liked the Brussels, asked for no bacon but I’m pretty sure they still had some in there. The sweet tea was delicious! Very affordable pizza

The neighborhood vibes and delicious food keeps us coming back to Howell’s Kitchen! Highly recommend the brussel sprouts and burger with sweet potato fries. The menu changes enough to keep it interesting and the value is great for this caliber of food in Atlanta!

Very spacious and with plenty of seating inside and out. I got the spicy mango drink and it was very good! The appetizers we tried were all different and unique. The mozzarella sticks could of used more cheese and were a little dry so not my favorite. The seafood dip had great flavor and was a perfect choice. I did the build your own pizza and really enjoyed it. Great texture and the pepperoni were nice and juicy. Also the bread pudding is amazing! Very tasty! Great place to try out and our server was excellent!

We went for a group for a graduation celebration so we tasted a lot of the menu. Of the Appetizers: Pho Brisket Egg Rolls, Seafood Dip were the best. A few of our group got the Fish&Chips but were a little disappointed. I got the special of the month, the "Curried Goat" pizza, and It was amazing! With a name like that, don't order it thinking Caribbean cuisine, a better name would've been Sweet&Spiced Lamb pizza because of the rich curry, braised lamb, and pineapple mint chutney. Lots of choices, even vegan, and an average plate price of 18$ My favorite part was the ambiance. It was a beautiful overcast day, and the temperature was perfect for us to take advantage of the outdoor seating. The whole feel was clean, minimalistic, artistic, industrial, open, and trendy, perfect for events. Free covered parking deck is available within steps of the restaurant if the ones infront are taken. Definitely check them out.

Mozzarella sticks were yummy. The mango habanero margarita was delicious but I didn’t taste any mango. I settled for 4 stars instead of 5 because I was charged $6 in condiments and wasn’t told additional sauce was extra which was pretty ridiculous & the service wasn’t the best in comparison to other restaurants I’ve been to since visiting the city.

Sweet good service. Ordered southwest salad with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Soon as it hit my tongue i was satisfied. The chicken has a great tender juicy favorful taste. Def coming back for a main dish and other dishes i saw. Happy that they have Gluten-free options.

Hosted a Beautiful Boss Queens event here and the staff took great care of my party. The staff was extremely attentive and our server was the best! (I think his name is Brian) He was amazing and made the event a blast. We will definitely be back for another meetup. ✨💕👑

The service is awesome, the drink while pricey are certain strong but delicious, and the food was absolutely tasty. I didn't expect the explosion of flavor but I was happy to have it.

I visited Howell's during brunch so I have not tried their dinner menu, but I was pleased with my experience. We sat down quite quickly and the service was friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the indoor/outdoor layout of the restaurant allowing you to have multiple seating options. The food was quite good too. I really enjoyed their baked creole seafood dip as an appetizer. I also ordered the morning glory pizza which wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. It was reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great to bring a few friends along. Get the seafood dip!

Came here for brunch with some friends last Sunday. There wasn't a wait when we arrived. From the hostess to the server to general management everyone was amazing. The atmosphere was also ok. Unfortunately, my party did not have a great experience with the food and drink service. We all order a cocktail which took longer than usual. Then there were delays with our food. I previously visited this restaurant a week before and the quality of the food was alot different. Not sure if there were different staff in the kitchen cooking this second time. But food wasn't good. When our food finally arrived it was cold, overcooked with no flavor. Honestly, if it wasn't for our amazing server our time here would've been extremely unbearable. There are some vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Not many but options are available. This is definitely a family friendly establishment. Perfect for families with children. There is parking available directly in front of the 2 restaurants cultivate and Howell's. However, depending on the day and arrival time parking here may not be an option. There's also a parking structure just a few steps away from the restaurant, which usually has spots. Otherwise, you'll have to wait for a spot when one becomes available if there isn't any parking.

A good dinner outside on the patio with Bogie. Howell’s very large patio & outside seating is dog friendly. It was a busy night outside and after the rain they were a little short staffed. So a slow start which they made up with great food and service. Tom enjoyed the Ancient Grain Chicken Bowl, bok choy, snap peas, carrots, red bell peppers, mushrooms, broccolini, cantonese sauce, brown rice, farro, quinoa for $17. I really enjoyed the freshness of the Arugula and goat cheese salad, roasted beets, spring lettuce, strawberry, red onions, spicy cashews, radish, citrus vinaigrette – $13. We started with the Smoked Mozzarella Sticks, cold smoked, hand breaded, pomodoro sauce $9. Finished dinner with a beautiful sunset and a glass of La Crema, which were complimentary, thank you. Definitely will return. If this review is helpful pls like.

A great place to have a bite. Outdoor area is large and have covered and open areas. The wings are pretty awesome also!

You can tell management has gone the extra mile to design many different dining atmospheres for individual tastes. There are at least 4 different dining locations, including indoor, outdoor, semi outdoor and bar. They also have private rooms. I’d say it’s a very kid friendly restaurant too. I have diet restrictions, and honestly it’s just easier to cook at home, but took a chance eating out, and Howell’s Kitchen and Bar was able to accommodate me; I got a delicious meal. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal, and the appetizers were also very good. My husband especially enjoyed the Brussels sprouts. I’m sure we’ll be back when it’s warmer and we can sit in the outdoor area.

My friend and I couldn’t stop talking about the food after we left! 😂 Amber, our server was the BEST! The drinks were also top tier! I had a manmosa and if I would of had another one I wouldn’t of made it. Tasted just like juice but can def feel it! The dessert? I don’t even like sweets and I could of finished it all by myself.

Great Service, good food and nice atmosphere. We had the Korean beef spring rolls and the mozzarella sticks as starters. The mozzarella has a slight smoke flavor which is different but it's good. The hit of our meal was the bread pudding with the salted caramel ice cream.... Delicious 😋😋 The patio is huge so, I will have to go back when it isn't raining. Also our server Ronald was very attentive and gave great suggestions.

Ronald was my server and his skill level and professionalism is beyond exceptional. I enjoy all the staff as I am greeted each and every time like I am a family member. I eat here about 3 or 4 times a week and they NEVER miss. Thank you Ronald for always taking care of me. If you are looking for good food, great drinks and EXCELLENT customer service, come here!

This was my third visit to this restaurant. Each time I’ve gone, the food has been good but just “okay” good. I’m not sure if I’ll go back unless I’m invited there by a friend. It just doesn’t “wow” me. The first time I went, it was for a business meeting, the second time was for a friend’s party and this last time was because a friend was in that area for a massage and I met her there. I had a unique cocktail called Porch Swing which had Gin (I changed that to vodka), elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, strawberry purée, and Prosecco. It was “okay” - not as good as I’d hoped. I love elderflower liqueur but I couldn’t taste it. I also had the Fun Guy pizza on gluten-free crust. The crust cost me an extra $5. SMH. I don’t know why gluten-free items are always so much more expensive. It was “okay”. Not as flavorful as I’d hoped. My friend had the grilled ribeye and she said it was good. They have a lot of outdoor seating which I like. But - Finding a parking spot may prove to be a challenge. Overall- the food, atmosphere, and even the drinks are just okay. That’s why I gave it three stars for an “average” rating

Great spot with an amazing patio. Strong drinks and reasonably priced food. I would almost go as far and say it's one of Atlanta's best tapas spots. Not branded or positioned that way but, reminds me of the upscale tapas bars in Barcelona that I love so much.

Great atmosphere. The menu prices are reasonable and service is excellent. The pizza is some of the best we’ve had. The cocktails were okay and beer list is diverse. We definitely recommend!!

Went to Howell's for brunch this past Sunday and it was the perfect way to start the new year. Been here a couple times in the past and my experience was always average. They've really stepped up their game. Our server, Bradley, kept us laughing while he pointed us to the bright spots on the brunch menu. Definitely didn't expect this level of service at a local bar. All our food was tasty and you can't beat the mimosa deal.

We happened upon this place. It was recommended by the place next door, as we got there when they were closing. Howell's fit the bill perfectly. Our server was helpful and friendly. The food was very good - good enough that we went back the next day for lunch, and found them also still serving brunch. Would recommend for anyone in the area.

Just ok food. I won’t minimize the other comments but I’ve tried this place multiple times and each time it’s been underwhelming. It’s a shame they only serve the basics and fail to get it right. Bland burger the first time around..ok I won’t go there for burgers. Second time, tenders. They were dry but tasted of just grease and had no salt at all. Third time, fish and chips. SAME THING. No seasoning, just plain battered fish. Thank god for the lemon wedge cutting the grease for me. The only consistent thing that’s good is the Caesar salad. My god, if they messed that up they should shut down. Heard their pizza was ok but I won’t be back to find out. Just another over hyped Atlanta eatery. Including dry tenders and extremely greasy fish for context. Look at how wet the fish looks compared to the tender.

First time. Got good parking spot, got seated outside in good weather so my review will be on the optimistic side. Didn't catch the waitress' name, so that's a shame. Really smart and intuitive person. She talked about the monthly specials where I ordered the clam and linguine pasta plus a salad to share. Without being asked, the waitress split the whole order into two even portions, recommended a (strong) drink, and was super chill. Would recommend!

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down.
