This place was super yummy. We went here for brunch and sat at the bar top. The bartender was very friendly and made the overall experience that much better. The food was really food too. I preferred the sliders over the Brussel Sprouts as a starter. The eggs Benedict was really good. Great drinks and fun gift at the end of the meal.

Def have a good whiskey selection and they have one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Great place

Brunch here was everything I wanted/needed! Food and cocktails were uniquely delicious, weather was perfect for patio eating, and service provided by Wes was immaculate. I could not get enough of the Spicy Mexico City cocktail.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The menu was more brunch, but the food was still excellent. I started with the Korean BBQ Chicken Slider and had the WB Burger with Avocado as my entree, both were exceptional. My wife had the Ahi Tuna Tar Tar and she loved it. My daughter had the Chicken and Waffles, she liked the chicken but didn’t care for the waffles. The service was great and the restaurant had a god atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.

We arrived around 6 or 6:30 and got the last non-reserved table. Server was friendly but appeared to be new which slowed the process down a little. Food l was delicious and the spicy margarita was pretty good, as well. Good experience overall but parking is tight so a bit stressful.

Had a great brunch at Whiskey Bird. We haven’t been back since 2020 but it’s a great place for brunch. I love the breakfast sandwich but today I tried the Fried Chicken Breakfast burrito which was amazing. I would order it again. My partner was disappointed to find out the Soba noodles are no longer on the menu. Drinks can be a bit pricey. A cold brew with a bit of bourbon ($12) is a bit much. Everything was delicious. I would come back and I’d recommend trying it out.

I found this spot while browsing Yelp for a new restaurant to try. I noticed that they offer a Happy Hour Tuesday - Thursday and Sunday from 5-6:30pm. A few friends and I opted to check out Whisky Bird at 5pm for Happy Hour on a Wednesday. I was able to make reservations in the morning for 5pm for a table for 3. I arrived a few minutes prior to 5pm and I was able to parallel park directly in front of the restaurant-- SCORE!! Upon walking in we were immediately seated at a booth. I do believe we were the first patrons for the night. Our waitress was so friendly and was very familiar with the menu. She offered detailed descriptions of drinks and food. She also made sure the our water glasses were always full. She was engaging, courteous, service oriented. And simply put- AMAZING! I ordered the Okonomoiyaki fries and the tuna tataki. One of my friends ordered a cocktail and the katsu Sando, and my other friend ordered the chicken tacos off the happy hour menu and an entree salad. I also ordered a dessert ( a brûlée that was a special for the night) . When I tell you that each of us enjoyed every bite of our food. Everything was cooked fresh and had an amazing taste! I am already trying to plan my next visit so that I can try other menu items. In addition to this place having good food and service, the decor is cute! It's a nice place for a cute Instagram photo! Last, but not least, each of us were given a complimentary small pack of Pocky chocolate! SCORE again! Go ahead- make that reservation, or just stop in if you are in the neighborhood!

I had the fried chicken breakfast burrito and my husband had the steak breakfast burrito and blood Mary. Such a cute place with great service from Paris. The burritos were full of flavor. The blood Mary was a bit on the sweet side.

I was in Atlanta on business and stopped in at this cute neighborhood restaurant. My server was very attentive and the place has a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered a lavender raspberry sour cocktail and it was the best tasting part of the meal. The Peruvian chicken gyoza tacos were just so-so. For my main course I had the steak Frites and again it was average. The plate didn't come with a steak knife which was disappointing. I could have said something but decided not to make a fuss. Maybe it's an Atlanta thing. There are too many places in Atlanta to recommend this place although I had hoped I could.

What a great brunch place! The service was friendly, the food was incredible, and the coffee was perfect. The location is also so adorable - it’s a wonderful neighborhood for a walk after the meal. Parking on the street is limited, but there’s a free parking lot right across the street. Will be back!

This place has an amazing vibe with its back patio and open-concept kitchen, immediately making you feel welcome. The easily accessible and free street parking in the front and back is a major plus, especially in this busy area. Our server and host were both incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. And those wonton chips with queso and guacamole were a delightful start to the meal, bursting with flavor. For the main course, I tried their fried chicken and waffle, which was an absolute treat. The menu's mix of Asian and American cuisine creates a unique and exciting dining experience. I've been here multiple times, and each visit has been nothing short of fantastic. I can confidently say this place consistently delivers a wonderful brunch, and I can't wait to come back for more. Highly recommended!

The food was fairly average for the price, but the location, service and atmosphere made up for the food. Making the experience eating at this restaurant an enjoyable last-minute brunch choice

I had dinner here with my friend on a Thursday evening around 7 PM & the crowd was light. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and kept checking in with us. We had the Peruvian chicken tacos which was absolutely delicious, so good we ordered it twice and I didn't even get a picture of any of the meal. I also got the salmon as my main even though I almost full off the appetizers alone. Highly recommend and will be back.

I had a great time dining at this restaurant. The cocktails were very good and I really enjoyed my sloe gin fizz. Our table got the assortment of appetizers which were all very good and provided a really nice overview of what whiskey bird offers. For my meal I had the WB chopped salad and the salmon. The salad was delicious. It had an amazing mix of flavors and was quite large. The bourbon glazed grilled salmon was perfectly cooked and was another perfect mix of flavors. I really enjoyed the Chinese sausages that were served with it. I will definitely be returning for another visit and I am excited to try the other items on their menu. The entrees here are incredibly unique. Also, the staff was very kind and attentive.

Amazing food, great ambiance and the service is always great. I love the specials menu. Yakitori is a must and I greatly enjoyed their duck breast noodles from their specials (this was back in April and I'm still thinking about it oh I wish it was a permanent addition). Their noodle bowls are great. Oh and you must try the pie bar!

We had a nice time. Variety of flavors with the food. There was a passion fruit cocktail that our friend liked. The Brussels sprouts we were able to get w bacon on the side so we could all share, those that are at bacon could pour it on. The fave was the spicy tuna crispy rice.

I visited around 3pm on a Sunday and to my surprise, it was happy hour! I ordered the tuna tacos! They were small but very good- would definitely order again! They were packed with tuna and tasted fresh! ***Cheat code- break the crispy taco in half and spread the tuna to each half of the taco shell. It’ll be easier to eat and it feel like you have double! The froze was not the best I’ve ever had; it’s missing either a little citrus or a touch of sugar.. I sat on their front patio and it’s not super decorated but cute and quaint which was exactly the vibe I was seeking. Will def come back!!!

Whiskey Bird is a unique dinning experience in the highland area. I arrived during their happy hour and was excited to try a few bites! Starting with their chicken gyzoa tacos and fries! Both were hot and tasty! For my entree, I went with the newest addition to the menu-- which was the sushi roll. Overall, the service was prompt. My server was very knowledgeable and provided great insight on the inception of the restaurant and really pleasant. The vibes is impeccable.

Excellent food and service! Even though we arrived after brunch ended and they were only offering a small happy hour menu, they allowed us to still order from the brunch menu! Everything was excellent and our server was amazing, we will be back!

An overall awesome option for lunch, brunch, or dinner in the Va-Hi area. Food is innovative and tasty, ambiance is laid back, and service is top notch. Ask for Amy if you are coming in, she is very thoughtful and courteous. Everything is delicious and combinations are well thought out by the cook staff. Most main dishes come with a bright salad as a side which is great to contrast some of the heavier dishes. Most haves: the Korean Queso and Guacamole dips - crispy wonton chips were delicious to scoop both of these Crispy potatoes - these are topped with Parmesan, parsley, and some green onions Frittata - you will get a made-to-order personal frittata as opposed to a slice of an already cooked one. The added Boursin cheese made it super fluffy and soft. Note: it comes with the side salad on top because it is best eaten together but feel free to get it on the side too

Beautiful place, great vibe and excellent service! The food is really good, chose a Veggie Burger and crispy spicy tuna sushi. My husband hates sushi, but this time he ate half of My sushi pieces!

We tried this place last weekend. It was very good. We started with a mimosa and the Caribbean iced coffee. The coffee was delicious! I've since made my own version at home 😁 We decided to have the Peruvian chicken gyoza tacos as an appetizer. This was easily the most flavorful and best thing we ate. We had the Bao Benedict and the WB Burger. Both of these were good, but just not quite as good as the tacos. All-in-all, I'll definitely come back to try more items!

We love Little Bird Take Out! Salads and bowls are amazing. They are healthy, filling, taste great and reasonable in price. Customer service is outstanding too in that they will call to clarify things if needed which is appreciated. Finally, i love those chocolate sticks they put in the take out each time - yummy!

We went for lunch on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised to find lots of brunch items on the menu. The steak breakfast burrito was terrific.

Payton was our server, she was personable and helpful. We sat on the patio. I got the seared ahi salad, my husband got the bike bowl. Both were amazing filled with flavor, and great as leftovers. They have a great happy hour too.

Came by for a special occasion and really enjoyed it! Had a drink at the bar while waiting for a table, bartender and waitstaff were really friendly and willing to explain everything on the menu. The sticky chicken yakitori was my favorite appetizer. The panko crusted chicken is delicious and comes with a little cabbage salad that had an amazing dressing. The drinks were all home runs as well! I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the drinks, honestly. We came in late closer to closing, but staff was helpful and very accommodating to dietary restrictions at our table as well. Will definitely be back again!

Love the bubble waffle! Yummy place to brunch and you can walk around the neighborhood. Sometimes you just want to grab brunch at a nice trendy neighborhood to enjoy the community.

Not much food selection. Food preservation is beautiful and colorful but not rich in flavor. Like HK slider, just because steam buns were used there is no Chinese flavor in the sandwich. Poke bowl was beautiful and nutritious but lack in flavor. Same for eggplant unagi. No Japanese flavor. Frosè drink Rosè and guava no guava taste at all.

I really liked Whiskey Bird! A friend & I went for brunch & it was very cute. The service was good. The food was delicious! My friend really liked the steak breakfast burrito. I really enjoyed the avocado toast with ahi tuna & the crispy brussel sprouts were so good! I will definitely be back!

Whiskey Bird is always such a delight! They serve my favorite fried chicken on a bubble waffle (game changer). They also have amazing brunch cocktails. I would highly recommend making a reservation as they tend to fill up very quickly.

My husband and I were looking for a new brunch spot to try so we pulled up here due to the reviews being great. We were pleasantly surprised by how FIRE this spot was. We’ve also never been in the Morningside area! The restaurant is in a cute area with photo opps close by. The restaurant staff and our waiter was very nice and informative as it was our first time there. We had the brussels for an appetizer which was DELICIOUS! My husband had the steak and eggs for his entree and I had the bao benedict. Both, super tasty. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The bao benny uses Gouda as opposed to hollandaise as the sauce which was an interesting twist. The drinks were also great! We will be back! So happy to come up on this spot.

Rarely do I wish I had a sixth star to give a place. But OMG! This place is Amazing! Funky fusions of American favorites with asian twists. Great bar & staff. If you want a truly unique dining experience centered around classic American staples. You can not do better in Atlanta. I came for brunch. But will try to drag all my co-workers back for dinner. It was that good!

Whiskey Bird was delicious. Tonight was our first time visiting and we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was so kind and helpful, I wish I had gotten his name (he was young with shoulder length, brown hair) and he made the dinner fantastic and our order came out perfectly. The food was amazing and of great quality. We are not from Atlanta and know we won't be back for a very long time, and so we wanted to try a few things. We got the Korean queso, Hong Kong sliders, Korean bbq tofu bowl, and WB burger. We especially loved the sliders, burger, and queso. The tofu bowl was good, but a bit much for us and the flavors were a bit overwhelming, but we had wanted to step out of our comfort zone a bit. We hope to be back some day!

Whiskey bird is one of my favorite go-to restaurants in the neighborhood. They offer a great happy hour, but last night I opted to stop in for dinner. I had a Japanese whiskey flight and the salmon entree and it was lovely! Everything from the food to drinks and the service makes this place a 5-star spot in my book!

  • 5/5 Kelsi H. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent service, amazing menu choices, and a fabulous experience. I have zero complaints whatsoever, which is rare! The poke bowl and veggie burgers were fantastic, and our waiter Nick was not only attentive, but predicted our needs and brought things to us before we even thought to ask for them. Absolutely amazing and will be back!

😠 DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Terrible service! The server cannot remember what you ordered…it cannot be that hard to write it down. Friends waited for (Hennessy) drinks…at the same table for an hour and 15min. It took the bartender 3 tries….It took over an hour to get food even with a reservation. YOU CAN...
