The price of this hotel was too high for the look of it. It looks more like a Roach motel, the only thing I did like was how close it is to the beach/boardwalk. They request an extra $100 for incidental, which you get back after checkout & another $15 for parking. If it says non-refundable do not book it probably horrible and this 1 was. The bathroom door was broken the shower head & tub was filthy. I was disgusted but was forced to stay because it was non refundable. Do not book this Hotel, there's a lot of Junkie's hanging around and in the lobby. I didn't really feel safe. At least the pictures on the wall were nice in the room. I took my own sheets just because I wasn't sure. Disgusting!

I just came back from a three-day music festival and stayed in this hole. That is being polite. The place was disgusting I feel like I was at an apartment complex in harlem. They jacked up the prices because of the venue and charge an additional $15 per day for parking. This hotel was definitely not worth the over $200 a night I paid to stay there. Let alone the $64 a night they advertise. I never took my shoes off while I was there because the carpet was so disgusting there were burn marks not only in the carpet but on the bed sheets thank God I brought my own thinking ahead. There was no iron ore ironing board in the room I had to request it. The blow dryer in the bathroom had been cut out and the wires were exposed. Worst of all, if that wasn't bad enough, the only elevator in the place squealed and banged all morning long starting at around 7:00 a.m. I did not even attempt the continental breakfast they claimed to have had due to prior reviews. I am really surprised that the board of health does not shut them down. I took photos and wish I could share them with the review. Definitely two thumbs down and wouldn't recommend my worst enemy book a room here One other thing I forgot to mention was I requested an early check-in when I got there and they told me it was $10 per person for early check-in check in was for I was there at 2:00 I had to pay an additional $20 and it was cash only sounds kind of shady to me

I’ve been to about 15 Super 8 in my lifetime and this is one I will NEVER go back to. The only good thing going for it is how close it is to the boardwalk. The first thing I noticed while parking the car was the crack head literally feet away, pants halfway down his legs and scratching at his neck. The rooms were nice other than the mildew scented carpet, the multiple live and dead bugs, cobwebs and our black mold covered fridge:). When we tried to call the lobby to tell them, we couldn’t because our phone was broken. I wish they would realize that they can be a cheaper option without losing any of the quality of a nice hotel. If you’re really in a pinch and don’t care too much about the room if you’re just going to be sleeping there then this isn’t a bad option, but I’d recommend something else.

There should be an option for a NEGATIVE star review. DO NOT STAY HERE. All of the other negative reviews on google are completely valid. I spent over $300 dollars for one night to join my buddy for a going away that he held in Atlantic City so I wanted to stay the night in order to not have to drive over an hour after a night out. Not worth it. I don’t know how the company that owns Super 8 hotels is still in business. I feel bad for everyone who has stayed here. The pool is not usable. The parking is NOT free, as advertised. A $10 charge and no guarantee that if you leave, your spot will be there, and no refunds. Filthy rooms, small, and unsafe. The air conditioning has mold and is not adequate in the summer. Again, do not waste your money to stay here. Too many issues to list in one review.

This place will definitely do it for a night. The bed is clean enough and it’s safe; however; I wouldn’t be able to stay for more than 1 night. The bathroom had issues with flushing. The bathtub was broken. If you like to go there, make sure you’re taking a shower in your place since the price is really good compare to other hotels around. It has a good location. About 3 minutes you are on boardwalk. There is also a $15 parking fee per night.

Our key card/door was difficult to open. We had to go downstairs to ask for help twice. Complimentary breakfast! What complimentary breakfast!!? Our neighbors were "noisy" from 2am-4am-ish. You can hear the long beep of the elevator everytime it leaves the floor. The slamming doors all hours of the night and into the morning. The tub was dirty. We won't be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Upon arrival, I waited 30 mins before someone assisted me because they were all eating. After paying $15 a night to park in their lots, to which they disclosed there may not even be any sports left, we headed up to the room. We walked in to find black mold all over ceilings, our non-smoking room intensely smelled like smoke, trash was filled with previous guests trash, hair within the sheets, dirty towels, and what looked like vomit crusted to the floor in between the beds. We attempted to talk to someone after seeing the state of our room, but there was a line of people already complaining about the same issues. We went out and bought bleach and Lysol wipes the next morning, 1 swipe of the door handle turned the wipes brown. Both my roommate and I contracted mold poisoning AND conjunctivitis from our 3 night stay in this nightmare. We called twice the morning we left and asked to speak to someone regarding the state of our room, but were told to call back the next morning at 8 AM to speak to the manager. We called back the next morning and the manager offered us “$10 off our next stay” (as if we would ever go back…) then hung up on us. His lack of respect for his guests is completely unprofessional and this place is in DIRE need of new management, or better yet torn down.

I chose this hotel because it was $79 a night and everything on the strip was over $200. I wasn't sure what to expect but what I did get was a very comfortable bed with soft pillows and clean sheets. Sadly, at around 5:30 a.m. a family of rats decide to have an argument because I heard it through the wall. I dunno if Papa rat got into the beer cheese? Or spend the Rat family savings at the Golden Nugget? Then perhaps 2 hours later, I heard my neighbors getting busy 👀 but that's what you do at a hotel, right? Finally, when the cab picked me up outside the hotel to take me back to Ocean, it was driven by who I would swear was Rick Ross!!! Always a good story in ACNJ

Was here a couple days ago for One night I had family with me so we got 2 rooms for the price of $242 online , when I got to the hotel its very close to the beach which is the only great thing, but when I went to check in no one greeted us we stood there for a good 7 minutes and when the guy asked for my name on the reservation the guy told me I have to give a 100 dollar refundable deposit for any damages so I told them sure put it on my card, but the guy NEVER told me for each room which I feel he should have explained that better, so when I checked my bank card the next day I was charged twice for the deposit. Then he asked me if I brought a car which was kind of a weird thing to ask and I said yes why, he then said I have to pay $15 NON refundable for just to park there which is to be honest stupid I'm already paying for the rooms and they want more money like that is just stealing money and ridiculous. They have a pool that shows on the picture its open yet the pool is closed. When I went in my room there were small baby crabs on the desk so I had to flush them down the toilet they don't have an iron or ironing board yet the have the iron stand. The rooms had a weird smell to it and also smelled like cigarettes even though there are No smoking signs outside. Barely slept because the neighbors were being too loud talking and their children running around on the balcony for about an hour and inconsiderate of others they should put up signs to be considerate of there surroundings and others. When I went to check out the guy handed me bags with the breakfast which was a chewy bar, muffin and a sunny d, if you wanted water you have to pay extra for it. He didn't even ask how was my stay at their hotel or anything. Other hotels and motels I've gone to always ask at check out how was the stay or if anything was wrong . Would I come here again? NO! I think I rather save money next year and spend a little more on a nicer hotel in the casinos. My first option was an airbnb but when I checked there cleaning fees are now ridiculously expensive I remember about three years ago we stayed in one and the cleaning fee was about 30 dollars we paid a total of about 250 for two nights and it was a 3 bedroom apartment that fit up to 11 people very close to the beach and now the cleaning fees are about 180 to 200 dollars same price as staying for one night so I wasn't going to pay 400 dollars for one night in a smaller place for 4 people and a baby, so this hotel was my second option but that was a big mistake as well

This is the worst hotel ever. The room was nasty. The quilt had cigarette burns on them and they refused to change the linen. The key card didn't work had to return to the front multiple times. There is big raccoons all over the premises. They charge you $15 a night to park when opposite parking lot charges $5 @ day. They try to get you to give $100 in cash for incidentals and their phones and refrigerator in the room doesn't work. There's mildew and mold in their bathrooms. Simply disturbing and disgusting. The area is unsafe.

All of the reviews are correct. Dirty room, terrible customer service, and to top it all off, somebody stole the catalytic converter off of my car while it was in the parking lot that I PAID to park in. Parking is not free, the pool is closed, breakfast is coffee and thats all. I have stayed at many Super 8 motels and have never had as bad of an experience as I had here. Buyer beware.

The room was absolutely disgusting. Cigarette burns on the comforters, black mold in the bathroom and mini fridge. I left a debit card there on accident and when I called to get it back, they were incredibly rude the man was literally screaming at me on the phone. If it hadn’t been for that incident, I wouldn’t have called the health department. Alas, very poor management and incredibly unsanitary rooms meant an immediate call to the health department. I didn’t even sleep in the room that’s how disgusting it was, and I’m no neat freak. 0/5.

This place gets such a bad rap. My husband and I stayed 2 nights for like $120 with parking. The parking is $10 cash each night. They have a $100 deposit in case there are damages. Again cash. They reimburse you when you leave. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. You cannon compare a $250 a night room with a $50 a night room. This place is a great deal in Atlantic City. 5 min walk to the boardwalk. You get a free paper bag breakfast. You have to ask to it. Ours had a honey bun, water, granola bar, apple and a fruit cup. Of course free coffee. Our room was very clean. Again, it’s an older hotel so it doesn’t have the glitz but if you want to save some money. I would recommend it. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because you cannot use the bathroom in their lobby. Sometimes after you travel you have to go too bad to wait. Please fix this.

The room wasn't really clean there was hair on the bathroom sink and in the shower, the floor wasn't swept and the bedskirt wasn't clean it had stains and I'm not talking about food stains. The area isn't great because of the addicts and dealer's but it's convenient to the boardwalk and places to eat. Would I go back again probably not?!

I have stayed here many times. This motel is a 3 minute walk to the boardwalk. It is obviously for a lower budget, and you do pay a deposit for incidentals, just like any other place in AC. The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. The waiting area has a couch and is welcoming while you check in. There are local newspapers available as well as nearby food establishments to order from. If you do Uber Eats/ Doordash you will have to come down to meet them. Rooms are nice sized and there are clean linens. There is a microwave in the lobby, none in the rooms. There is a mini refrigerator in all rooms. There is a pool, hopefully it will be open for the 2023 year, as the summer of 2022 it was not open.

I’ve been traveling to Atlantic City for years. Even stood here years ago. But OMG!!! This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. First off, it says free parking and when you get there you have to pay $10 a day for parking. Then it says free breakfast and all there was is coffee. The pool was out of commission!! And they have random people hanging out asking for money and causing problems. The front desk person doesn’t care at all. I WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE EVEN IF IT IS FREE!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! All employees are rude and don’t know how to talk to people, rooms weren’t clean, bad area but super close to everything and also I’ve never been to a hotel where they charge you per person for a room that has 2 beds that automatically sleeps 4 people…then parking per night when advertised free parking… I would never recommend this place to anyone I know smh

Rooms are very dirty mold in fridge and bathroom found marijuana on top of dresser and towels were folded but when we went to use unfolded and they were all dirty. Shower was dirty with mold and hair all over toilet also one of the beds was dirty sheets . No pool like said online and breakfast consist of a hunny bun a fruit cup a rotten apple and a bottle of water . Save yourself the headache and don't go here. Also tried to charge 20 for parking and 60 hold on room . And customer service is horrible

I was excited to go to Atlantic city for my wedding anniversary. Last minute I used booking.com and found this building that should be condemned. Bad choice. Super 8 sign was on the ground and that was the start. Then the entrance windows were dirty and the front desk area was dirty and unorganized. The dinette area was cluttered but it didn't matter the free breakfast was cancelled but still advertised. Hydraulic fluid, pot and cigarette smells were smelled throughout. No complimentary breakfast was offered and as dirty as my room was with stains on the floors, damaged furniture, dirty towels, walls swollen from water damage, ceiling cracked and shady spackle job done we wouldn't have eaten there. Check out the ice sculpture in room 423 in the refrigerator. It is just filthy to have a backed up with so much ice(hint that means it's not cleaned) Doors on the fourth floor were being held by tape. Bathroom door was not able to be closed all the way. Windows to look at the "great" view haven't been cleaned for months. How dare you say your going to put a $60 damage hold on my card. Please don't stay here. My wife made me go buy cleaning supplies and slippers. After I finish this comment, it's on to travel and tourism bureau and fire department to discuss fire hazzards and building safety. Stay away. PS people I had to give this rating 1 star or it would not go through. 1 star doesn't come close to my expectations or my experience.

We spent 4 nights there while in town for a relatives wedding. I called the hotel before I booked and asked if parking was free. I was told yes it was included. When I checked in I was told parking was $15 per day. They denied telling me parking was free, but I know what was said. They don't change the sheets and towels, and don't even take out the trash. The included breakfast was a bagged meal of muffins, a little bottle of juice and a energy bar. There was coffee and tea in the lobby. I will not return there on my future trips back home to Atlantic County.

Location cool. Room was trash. Service is trash. Hotel manager charged me 100 deposit then took another 100 the next morning. When I called to dispute it he said take it up with your bank. Crooks don't stay here. It's not worth it. Not even with the price. For $285 I would've stayed at the Hard Rock or something.

This place is okay. But the elevator makes noise when leveling to floor number#. Parking lot is small. The room was okay, but I did not hear my brother in law snoring in the next bed in the same room with us. Only my mom or dad heard it. Had a friend who stayed in the other hotel in the same area as us. Tanger outlet is nearby. We thought about staying at red roof inn but no instead we made a reservation for super 8 hotel.

Only thing good about the hotel other than being close to the boardwalk is the new-ish walk in shower. No roaches or bedbugs in my room but it was in pretty bad condition. Not enough outlets, small TV,no ironing board & a toilet seat that doesn't fit the toilet. I wanna see if the non-smoking rooms are any better so I'll probably give them another shot during the summer. P.S. I got my deposit back 😊

This motel deserves 0 stars for its customer service . I book this hotel and wanted to cancel due to weather changes. They did not want to help in any sort of way. They has an option to reduce the cancelation fees but they did not try to accommodate the reduce fee cancelation option. The manager was not helpful. So why provide this as an option?? I was told the reason they did not want to cancel because they couldn't rent the room to another costumer. I even ask of I can change my date and they still did not want to accommodate my request. Basically I have to pay the fee for the room.

The staff has been very helpful and kind. The building is dated and could use some work but it is overall clean. We had the double bed room which is very cramped. Technically only a single queen size bed should've been in there. The bathroom was clean but again extremely dated and worn. But for the price and location, you can't beat it.
