M Social made our Anniversary stay an amazing one! Our room was upgraded with harbour view. The hotel from room to lobby is modern and clean. Everything you need, they have it! All staff especially Duty Manager: Larina were extremely friendly and efficient. Their services exceeded our expection! Hotel is located just a walk away from many F&B and shopping areas. Their restaurant: Beast & Butterflies serves tasty food! Lovely waitress served us with great recommendation of food. Overall: My husband and I enjoyed our stay at M Social to the max! Its the best hotel we have stayed throughout our trip in New Zealand. Thank you so much, M Social!

Best experiences in hotel ever. Greeting us so friendly, Good modern interior and easy access to park or go to down town. It’s was such a wonderful stay. The beds were so super comfortable. Rooms were super clean. definitely would recommend to others. we enjoyed our morning breakfast downstairs each the food was delcious. Our a year baby played in room really well. Highly recommend to couple with baby.

We initially stayed here in April for my husband's birthday, which was a totally good experience. This time, we stayed for my special birthday and were extremely underwhelmed: We upgraded to the separate bedroom and living area and was happy to pay nigh on $2000 for 2 nights based on our previous experience. No birthday wishes from reception on arrival. Room lacked attention to detail, and cupboard doors and walls had lots fingerprints and smears. Blinds in rooms were automated and worked sporadically BUT more often did not work. We had breakfast in our room ordered for both mornings. The first morning delivered by staff on a tray, nicely laid out and welcoming. Second morning, it was delivered by the hotel robot, and we thought we were in McDonald's as came in paper bags and wooden cultlery (see photo) absolutely disgusted and disappointed to pay for the high calibre room and to receive shoddy delivery. On leaving and paying at reception, we were told that only 1 breakfast came with the room and had to pay for the other...we queried this and she had made a mistake. Need to train the staff to check properly before making even more mistakes and again making the stay even more unenjoyable. We have our anniversary coming up in August, which initially we would've stayed at M-Social but will certainly not be staying again!

I recently stayed for 2 nights. It was generally a pleasant stay in a great location near the waterfront and close to several restaurant options. The room comes with several amenities, including bottles of water which are replaced daily. However, I do have a few quibbles that a hotel of this calibre should not be experiencing. My room was not ready for the 3PM check-in time and I had to wait an extra 1.5 hours before it was available. (For the inconvenience, the hotel put me on the top floor with a great view. But staff shouldn’t present it as an upgrade, when the room wasn’t actually upgraded to a higher grade room.) Also, I noticed some of my towels had leftover menstrual stains that didn’t fully wash out from previous customers. If your team sees stains in the towels, they really should be taken out of service and sent back for further laundering. And last, there was a stink that came out of the shower drain, which indicates a drain cleaning needs to be done.

Wonderful hotel with great harbor views in the center of Auckland. Stayed here during our stay to watch the FIFA Womens Word Cup and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Rooms were clean and neat. Staff were very friendly amd accomodating and it was obvious they went the extra mile for us with our small requests from having a later room cleaning time coz my toddler napped in the midday, to having extra water and beddings delivered to our room, to allowing us to bring some food from the breakfast buffet for our long road trip to Rotorua. I felt how genuinely passionate they are about their work. Great location too as we just had to walk a couple of hundred meters to get to the pick up point for the FIFA event buses to Eden Park. We'll definitely stay here again once we get back to Auckland. Nothing but love for this hotel and it's amazing staff.

Totally impressed with our stay! From the friendly staff, the funky art to the brilliant location. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for clean, non pretentious, friendly and functional accommodation steps away from everything you need in the city!

I have to say, this is one of the best stays I have had in a hotel, and a lot of that was to do with the service, as well as location, and amenities. My friends and I arrived, we had a car so used the valet service, I think it was $45. I loved the fact we could drive up to the door, and someone else goes and parks it. We had an electric car, so they charged it for us overnight. I think we got charged $10 for this, but it was a full charge, so totally worth it, especially for the convenience. The bags were taken to our room before we even got to our rooms, I was so happy about this, as I find most hotels you have to wait for them to bring your bags up after you have been in your room 10 minutes or more. The location is excellent. Right near the viaduct. It is a safe area and we felt really comfortable walking around this area. The room was lovely. We were 3 ladies sharing 2 double beds, my only comment is they are doubles not queens, so you either need to feel comfortable sharing a double bed, or one person who is small takes the couch. The bathroom was nice, and private to the rest of the room, in other words you can't see in from the bedroom. The coffee facilities were excellent and just what we needed in the morning. On our last day when we checked out, we had two hours to fill in before heading to the airport. We were able to leave our car and the bags, for free during these two hours. I would definitely stay here again. From start to finish, we were very happy with our stay. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay as smooth and as comfortable as possible.

We came in from the wharf for the great coffee, and in the process of having breakfast, we discovered that our previously booked car rental was suddenly unavailable, and there was nothing for two weeks. The staff went above and beyond to help us, and literally saved our holiday. We weren't even staying in their hotel but they called car places and looked after our bags while we ran around trying to get it all sorted! We will absolutely be staying here the next time we are in Auckland. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

We had our conference at M Social and it was amazing! The facilities, service and location is incredible and I would definitely be recommending this to anyone considering large group bookings. Only thing to note is the downstairs bar closes quite early around 9:00pm, but apart from that everything was perfect! In particular Maurice & Mylo were incredible to work with in organising this event. They were both very professional, accommodating and welcoming, and because of this they made the planning and execution of conference extremely easy and enjoyable - many thanks. This place is the place to be! The location is prime, close to everything you need. The rooms are very modern and loved how there are lights for individual sleepers. Love love love how they have complimentary washer and dryer. It makes up for not having a jacuzzi. Overall this place is somewhere I would come back to for sure! A+ keep it up. Great helpful staffs as well!

M Social has single-handedly renewed my faith in customer service (and trust me, I had given up hope a long time ago!). We dont stay this close to home very often but this will be our go to hotel from now on and the one we will recommend to overseas visitors. Spacious rooms, funky decor, super friendly and professional staff, cool bar/restaurant and prime position for a very reasonable price. Might only be 4 star rated but definitely a 5 star experience.

Stayed for all four nights. The room was cute with a great bed, staff was friendly, quick and helpful with our requests, no matter what. The location was also great, right near the water fairies, Maritime Museum and all the food options. Would 100% stay again. Welcome card, check up call and follow up e-mail. A well run operation with great staff.

Everything was so incredible from the service, food, kind staff, location, and room! The location couldn’t have been better. Walking distance to ferry, great restaurants, shopping, etc. What sets this place apart though is the people. We received a kind, handwritten note at check in! They even loaded up our room with our luggage when the room was ready (we arrived before checkin time). The valet even loaded our car up when we checked out! 100% recommend.

The room has a few elements of showing some wear and tear but only if you look closely. The customer service at this hotel was second to none. The location was perfect for access to the CBD and wharf. Very quiet considering it's location. Would definitely recommend to others!

We recommend coming here for any special occasion or just to have a night out in the city. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming but this latest visit exceeded our expectations. The staff even left a complementary dessert platter and hand written birthday card in our room. The rooms are always so clean and well presented including everything you might need or have forgotten to pack. Located beside the Viaduct and revamped Quay Street area with beautiful harbour and city views from rooms and restaurant where you can sit inside or outside. There is a great restaurant here serving food all day with a large selection of options to suit a variety of tastes. The buffet breakfast had lots of tasty options. We'll be back! Great location for getting on and off our cruise. So close to everything. Rooms were spacious, light, comfortable and loved the coffee machine. Air con was a bit noisy so could be bothersome for light sleepers but I would 100% recommend staying here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Will stay here next time for sure.

Excellent location with a very helpful and friendly staff that went above and beyond. We came in very early straight from a 24 hrs flying day. Staff gave us key to the gym to shower, then while we were out to grab breakfast, they brought our stuff to the room. Very comfortable stay. The view of the bay is great as well. My partner and I spent two nights at M Social Auckland. The service from the time we walked in the door until the time we left, was excellent. The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The choice of set breakfast or off the menu was exceptional. The room was spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed the view of the harbour and the boats coming and going. M Social Auckland is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shopping. When our vehicle was bought to the front entrance, we noticed that it had been fully charged and water had been left for us as well. Will most definitely be returning to M Social Auckland on our next visit to Auckland. Thank you.

Stayed in one of the suites and loved the space! All staff were lovely and the breakfast was tasty (breakfast 7am till 10.30am). The location of the hotel is right on the harbour and good location for restaurants and bars, we were on floor 10 but still managed to hear people outside on the harbour during the early hours after their night out on the harbour so if you're a light sleeper this may not be good for you (I was able to fall back asleep thankfully). We ordered room service and it was delivered by a robot! There was quite a few modern features in this hotel which was cool, and you needed to scan your room key inside the lift to be able to go up to your floor which provided additional security. The gym held dumbbells ranging from 2kg to 30kg increasing by 2kg, a cable machine and a few cardio machines.

I traveled in New Zealand and Australia these past few weeks at this was by far the best place I stayed. The staff was very helpful and super accommodating. The room was clean, had a great view and the bed was soooo comfortable. I also got in late and was able to take advantage of their in house restaurant and bar and it was delicious. There was nothing I didn’t like about the place, plenty of shopping and food in walking distance…. I would definitely stay again

Excellent stay at the M Social. The room had every amenity required for a short stay, and the staff were lovely throughout. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with everything you could need. Located down by the harbor the views were great, and the local area had all the bars and restaurants within a short walk.

The staff are super helpful and absolutely delightful to deal with. I absolutely adore the robot I can’t believe I had a robot deliver me coffee and breakfast. It was so cool. The idea of having umbrellas there for complimentary use was very useful. My room had a spectacular view and I was very happy with it. Thank you so much for having me. Can’t wait to come again.

What a beautifully well appointed hotel room! Very, very clean and aesthetically pleasing rooms. The bed is one of the most comfortable beds. I’ve slept in and I sleep on the road about 200 nights a year. You’re conveniently located downtown close to everything. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

We arrived around 10 AM and were told that we already could check in to our room! What great news after a 15 hour flight. The room was great w a wonderful view of the harbour. Breakfast was excellent. Location could not be better. Staff was outstanding. We only had one dinner there and it was also excellent. This is a great modern hotel and we would love to come back.

It's a very lovely room.. as it's a quarantine stay I couldn't experience anything else However the room was extremely comfortable and clean, all the toiletries supplies were there unlike other hotels who cut on products, moreover staffs were pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious as well. Would love to come over for leisure soon.. :)

Only staying due to requirements for aircrew isolation between flights, but the check-in process was seamless, the view fantastic, the room is comfy, clean, spacious, quiet and stylish. Plus the food is enviable.

Staying here as an aircrew for a short layover. But M social already makes me want to come back for leisure in the future! The room is lovely with some chic modern design. Clean and with a lovely view! It really makes this quarantine trip way better! All the toiletries are there in the first place, it s a comfort feeling when I land late and everything is there ready to be used. Despite the late arrival, it was almost 3am when we all arrived, the hotel staffs were being very professional and attentive and was really surprised that the chef was still working at that hour to prepare us a full course quarantine meal if we wished to eat something before bed. And I must say the food they provide during the quarantine stay is pretty good( speaking from a huge foodie point of view😊). The freshly made complimentary coffee in the morning is also a nice touch. All in all, I would love to come back and stay in M social whenever I will have a chance to come to Auckland for vacation ! Thank you team for making this short stay memorable!

Excellent service from the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Every time when we requested for amenity, they would brought it up to the room swiftly and with extra piece of each item. Valet parking is $45/day but worth for the value considering the location is in the heart of CBD. Unlike another hotel we were staying, they charged $50/entry instead of unlimited entry offered by M social. Also the hotel is kind enough to provide a room with an amazing view to celebrate our honeymoon as well as to assist us to locate our forgotten items in the hotel after we checked out. Thank you so much M social team.

Great location near the viaduct, commercial bay and waterfront. Wonderful service, very good rooms... Was impressed. And also gutted we only stayed for 1 night. The omelette I had for breakfast was mind-blowing.

The Hotel itself was lovely. But I can't get past the price of parking!! $45 per night, so cost us $90 for 2 nights, I just about chocked. It was a weekend away for my 30th with my husband and let's just say paying $90 parking made us have a few words. We usually pay about $30 per night in Auckland when we have stayed elsewhere. We also had a few friends staying at other hotels in the city and they were horrified at the price and were paying about $30/$35 for their parking. I asked if there was anything they could do for us considering we arrived at 330pm the Friday and didn't require to use the car at all during our stay and got it back when we checked out Sunday morning but they weren't willing too. When checking in the girl seemed to be rather new as she couldn't answer my questions and kept calling a colleague over for help. We also got told our breakfast deal was a full buffet breakfast but it wasn't and you didn't even get a choice from a menu it was bacon and eggs on toast and that was it. I have stayed here before and am a member but my parking was included in a deal and although I should of checked I assumed it was the same this stay aswell. Unfortunately due to the price of parking I would not stay here again and would not reccomend it to family and friends either.

Modern and clean. Bed is excellent and TV is up to date with tech. Wifi is speedy. Great coffee and food too. Staff are super friendly and don't make you feel like you're a bother at all. Been here a few times and am happy to come back. 2 things could be improved though. They provide tiny tissue packs instead of a box in the bathroom. You have to collect ice yourself otherwise there's a charge.

I really enjoyed my stay here; the location, facilities and service were all top notch! The rooms themselves are spacious and well appointed. There is plenty of space, amenities and all the service work really well. Shower was lovely. Rooms were made up each night as well. Located close to the main harbor M Social is close to restaurants and bars, night life was a quick walk away! Personally I enjoyed getting up in the morning and walking around checking out all the yachts! Included a couple of photos in my review. A strong recommend from me!

Modern and clean hotel, similar to the W hotel in Asia (cool vibe). Feels like a boutique hotel in that it’s quite new and lots of artsy decor but with 5 star hotel service. Staff are amazing; efficient, super helpful and friendly. Their attention to detail is certainly noted and much appreciated. We came to NZ for our honeymoon and they were the only hotel in NZ which did something for us (small dessert bites and a card) for us. ☺️ Great location near the pier. Close to trains and easy access to the airport by Uber/taxi. Amazing view of the harbour. We loved it and would highly recommend. We were also given a $25 credit for food/drinks too so that was much appreciated. Compared to another 5 star chain hotel we stayed at in Auckland, this “chain” (since they have a sister hotel in Sg) certainly outperforms!

Five stars is not enough for this phenomenal little hotel! I wish I could give it at least SIX stars! My first visit to NZ and to have M Social as an introduction to Auckland set us on a path to pure pleasure. The staff are amazing and my friend and I suggested that other businesses in the service industry would do well to send their own staff for a weekend at M Social to learn what genuine customer service looks like. Nigel offering morning take out coffee to us and our tour guide, Rainer in the bar and dining area who goes above and beyond to make one's experience perfect, June at reception showing warm interest in each guest and the skilled maker of awesome cocktails, Bool - all have contributed to a delightful Auckland experience. AND - the rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, with great harbour views, very useful amenities and a totally cool vibe that makes us feel happy just to be here chilling. The food has been stellar from the perfect omelet for breakfast to the Beast and Buttflies dinner entrees. We totally LOVED our entire M Social experience and would encourage everyone to visit this wonderful hotel - a destination in itself! We look forward to returning to Auckland soon if only to spend some time at our all time favourite hotel! Thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome! and I suggested that it might be wise

I have so loved my holiday stay here. The staff are kind and the service is impeccable and the robot is super cute that delivers after-hours room service. The bar has amazing drinks and the food at Beast and Butterfly is scrumptious. It's perfectly situated for every trip across the harbor on the ferries or other excursions-just walk across the street and down the road a minute or two! I loved my room so much, I was so glad I was here for a long stay and got to enjoy it and the super comfy bed. I would stay here again in a millisecond and I likely will.

Stay number 2 was excellent. Awesome hospitality and staff from the restaurant staff to the front desk. And yet again l seem to have a relationship with meat pies 🤣. All was good except it now served in a doggy bag. All good love you guys see you for third visit and more meat pies. This time it will be the longest one this time 10 beautiful wet and weary auckland days. 🤣 🤣

Pleasantly surprised! Had always walked past but never stayed - finally with a chance to last weekend. Everything about this hotel was fabulous, check-in was easy and had very pleasant staff. The rooms are well appointed, even with little touches that make this a truly five star hotel. Breakfast downstairs was also lovely - including the staff again as went out of their way to be helpful. The location is fantastic in Auckland, and we will definitely stay here again.

Speaking of our room, the suite was perfect for our needs and had all the amenities we could have wanted. But the real star of the show was Harry, the cute room service robot who delighted us with his helpfulness and charm. It's little touches like this that set M Social apart from the competition. We also feel housekeeping staff need a thank you for being attentive and professional. Gorgeous views (as EVERY room has sea/harbor views) from basically any floor. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. I've stayed at this hotel on two occasions already. It's right across the ferry/cruise ship terminal, great shopping and dining a hundred feet away. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at MSocial, enjoyed such wonderful hospitality from each employee, and loved that we were so close to many eateries and the activities on the bay! We walked across the street to our cruise ship to board. Highly recommend! (Breakfast buffet was also delicious)

Booking this hotel was a "wild card" for our recent Business Trip to Auckland after 15 plus years. We had a very pleasant stay, everyone was very friendly and smiling throughout our 4 day stay. . The fully loaded option - made our stay super pleasant, with great views from the top floor, free flowing barista and also valet parking. Will definitely plan to stay here again should a need arise

Definitely will stay again,had the social room,great set up and as advertised online. Very clean room and daily cleaning services, 24/7 gym and self service laundry available, high tech with different room lighting options and A/C. All staff were very nice, professional and accommodating. Breakfast can be delivered to your room by the delivery robot. Food options were great and delicious. Awesome location close to Queen St with a mall next door. 10/10 great stay thank you!
