Had my daughter’s first birthday last Saturday the 19th from 5:30pm for 50 people here. the service and food was 100/10. We enjoyed every bit of our event. I forgot the names of the kind ladies that served us and made sure everything went well. I can only say Thank you so much and will definitely come back 😍1000% recommend 😇

Had my sister inlaws graduation celebration party tonight we all had a great time duty manager Gurminder was awesome she's so lovely and friendly great service. Valentines was so amazing, had went there for my birthday. & once I stepped in the doors it was amazing the waitress who was serving me and my family was so lovely and kind, I honestly give her five out five for her customer service🙂. Love the food, nice and fresh. The hot food was so delicious, the salads and the chowder was so yummy. I honestly would recommend going there, ik different people have there own point of views and reviews on the restaurant but there is always room for improvement and honestly they showed it tonite😊. It was good for us to go there tonight because we enjoyed it so much we would come back anytime. So yeeahhhh hope you guys go to Manukau Valentines🤟.

Exceptional service and delicious seafood chowder. Overall experience, highly recommended to dine here. They have chocolate fountain too😍 It is my first time dining here and I'm highly impressed. Thank you to the staff, keep up the good work. Will definitely come back.

For the price of $49, this place should be closed down and visited by the health authorities. They're in an area that deserves better than the awful (sorry I meant inedibly unidentifiable) food that they leave out to dry behind its already heavily dehydrated state. For $49 in Mt. Eden at a top cafe (take your pick), you can get an amazing main ($25-$35) with a cold drink ($5-$9) and a coffee ($6) to wrap it all up. IN MT EDEN!!! And you would be full and not worry that you'll wake up reenacting the "worm out of my stomach" scene from Alien. I'm so annoyed (if you couldn't tell) because we were a party of 30 and one of the staff told one of our party who sat at an empty table that it wasn't part of our reservation. We made up the 50 people there at the time but the capacity was well over 200 I'm guessing. My daughter asked one of the cooks, what's the meat please? The answer: it's meat. I highly recommend that NO ONE go there if you value your stomach. As for me: Never again.

I contacted to book and I ask if you guys accepted American Express and you said yes . When I arrived and wanted to pay no even paywaive !! Also most of the food not fresh and no oysters as you said, and some food was not cooked well ! I am paying $49 so I excepting great food !! I am a chef myself so I am saying from my own experience!! And no food for veggie people !! I will never do it and recommended to any !!

Waitresses were friendly and kind & good service , but the food….. NOT worth the price!!! Paid $108 for 2 adults & 1 child. Some were cold & dry and some food tasted as it was preheated. Chocolate cake on deserts area was hard & dry. 😐

Had Sunday Lunch here at $38 PP and food is cheap, dry and had old desserts. Never going back there. Not worth the price at all.. Happy days is way better.

The service was excellent (The concierge was very pleasant). The food was a major let down though! Chips were cold. Potato mash was dry. Garlic bread was chewy. Oysters looked illegal & tasted fowl. Jelly was hard. If your going to eat here, go for the trusted nuggets, fish bites & plain green salad. Stick to the ice cream & brownie or marshmallows & chocolate. The atmosphere was dark & looked worn. Not worth the money spent. If it wasn't for the lovely service, I would have asked for my money back.

Went for a family dinner on a Tuesday evening. A couple of my workmates had said it wasn't very good but I found the food very nice and the guy working that evening was very efficient and had excellent customer service skills. To be honest, I didn't have very high expectations for Valentines, based not only on my colleagues review, but also remembering the food from my last Valentines visit a few years ago. I was pleasantly surprised! Also, the toilets were clean so that was a plus. There is also plenty of parking there. So, thanks Valentines in Manukau - I will return!

Meat was dry didn't want to eat it many we were with mentioned it was dry , Set up old buffet with very minimal food selections ,dirty utensils, lollies jar... No roast pumpkin no roast sweet potatoes Not an inviting or enough salad selections like broccoli salad Waldorf salad, Ceasar salad , beetroot feta salad....come on valentine's this is crazy promote healthy... Raw fish not enough lemon with no lemon available on the side if needed or red onion Bread pudding very very dry , chocolate cake very dry ,not impressed with this set up alot of plastic decor very limited so much carb foods cheap and nasty..... This valentine's needs to change with inviting foods & set up like north shore Auckland as more customers will come .....the valentine's that use to be set up had better foods Don't take much fish filets baked in cream & fried on a skillet... Connect with veg in fruit farmer otara markets get cheap n fresh fruit n veg to make salads & roastees...come on Easy desserts chocolate self sauce pudding, apple crumble pie, sticky date.....

The gentleman/Manager at the counter was caring, polite, and professional. Nice and clean. Great experience. Will definitely go back again. Many thanks to that gentleman.

Went for a birthday lunch and it became super packed. Food was ok. I liked the butter chicken, fish nuggets, ham, cold prawns, chicken thighs and crab meat salad. Variety of desserts to choose from. Excellent customer service and all staff are friendly and helpful. Booked in advance and Avi was awesome to deal with all the way through. Thank you.

Had an awesome experience.with Valentines Manukau back in April. Avi was the person I was corresponding with for my booking. He catered for all our needs, ensuring my group was comfortable and well looked after. Food was very delicious and you could tell it was cooked fresh. Thank you so much Avi and your team for an awesome service.

The staff were very nice and helpful but $50 per person is very overpriced for food that is of poor quality. Chicken Gnocchi was literally dried overcooked chicken in yesterday's roux with added garnish. And no gnocchi to be found. My son had an allergic reaction to the chicken nuggets but his only allergy is shellfish 🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

I take my 89-year old aunt monthly (out from her care home) to Valentine's Manukau. She love the extra service she receive, the variety of food, and special seating so she can access food with her walker, and don't want to go to any other restaurant...and the cheaper price for gold card holders. Thank you very much.

Everything is doing well. The waitresses are fine. Good service. But only 1 thing which is the oyster, to be clean and wash properly so that no more left over shell or sand in it That's it. All the food was tasty to me hahah. Thank you.

15th Jan 2022. Service at the front was accommodating thnku. The food however was tasteless. Mussels tasted like they had been washed over and over again, crab and chicken was dry and some food chewy. Doesn't live up to the $44 charge ppr in my opinion. We did however enjoy the pork ribs, icecream and brandy snaps.

First & last time I’ll be going there. Not much variety, Food was cold, Some of the deserts were stale, 4 basic salads & 2 selection of meat (both wings & the ribs were stale) & the place was very unhygienic. Majority of the cutlery was dirty, The price is definitely not worth it your better off going to valentines in north shore worth the price and the selection is great aswell as the cleanliness and the staff is welcoming & do a great job at looking after you from start to finish.

Customer service was great , food was OK , steaks were cold had to ask for it to be re-heated. Butter chicken was nice tho , hot chips was not hot tasted like yesterday's chips,chocolate brownies tasted nice for $45 each for dinner ? Dunno.. overall experience ok

Best buffet for families with a wide selection of fresh seafood, meat, vegetables, hot and cold dishes. Various dessert and ice cream was plentiful The raw fish with coconut cream (oka) was so fresh and the lamb shanks etc fell off the bones. Everything was top notch and great value for money. I was visiting and treated my family to a delicious array of dishes at a very reasonable price.

Food was good, good selection of seafood, salad's, hot dishes and deserts. Everything was fresh and dishes were replaced often. Was with a diverse group with different tastes and everyone found some dishes to their liking. Decor was a little tired, worn out but everything was clean. Plenty of parking, staff friendly.

Amazing service, best service we’ve had from any restaurant so far. The girl we had was so kind and she was amazing and served us in a really nice and kind way always smiling her name was Gurminder thank you again and will be coming back again real soon

Love this place…everything was delicious and so many varieties to choose from, also the staff were so kind and offered professional customer service, they made me feel welcomed and made sure I was satisfied with our experience at their restaurant. 10/10 this restaurant is back in business and it’s under a new owner. Will definitely be visiting again

Had a last minute booking and needed somewhere who could provide dinner for about 100 people. A couple days notice I called Valentines Manukau and they saved the day. Food and staff are amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for any events big or small.

Wholley mowlley. Fantastic stuff . Very nice waiters and food a plenty.. never seen such an assortment of fine foods all in the same restaurant.. best part about it, is that you can choose what you want. I tried everything! My eyes are too big for my stomach. You can go whenever... for me it's now bedtime. ZZZ thankyou valentines ♥︎♥︎. Now after going back for a third time, I can now say this is my favorite restaurant in Auckland city ! Thanks again for award winning service and hospitality... :-)

They serve okay food, definitely room for alot of improvement. Service is great, friendly servers. Food could definitely be more appetizing and tasty. It's so hot inside especially when it's packed. Makes an uncomfortable dining experience.

I only had desserts, which as far as I was concerned were yummy. Small mouth size portions, great selection of desserts. The flat white was the best, could have done with bigger cup. (Ha..ha...ha). My whanau that I was with thoroughly enjoyed what they had for lunch and there were some variety of foods coming to our table from each individual. Great to see karaffs, cold water, drinks of various flavors and hot drinks. There was a bar and that was available too. Toilet facilities fine and parking areas, sweet as. Always great to see parking for disabled. On the whole, happy with Valentines.

Waited ages for table. Then waited ages for food. Then the food was warm. 1 meal came first then had to wait 5 mins for the other meal. Food didn't have much flavor. Prob wont be back.much better places. Unfortunately this was my first time here so not a good experience. **To the owner that commented, I know which one I attended, as far as I know there is only 1 valentines in manukau near kfc, half of the restaurant was blocked off so maybe the buffet was there. But I did not get the restaurant wrong. It was packed but staff were rude. Tables weren't that clean either , I went for the buffet but was none present, when I Google the restaurant the one listed is the one I attended so I don't know why there was no buffet there but I did not get the restaurant wrong) thank you for your response thou.

Valentine Manukau is a good place hanging out or have birthdays or wedding party. They have all kinds of food and dessert. But really enjoyed it. Because it was my sister-in-laws daughters birthday. She just turned 5 years old. We all eat the food and cut the birthday 🎂 cake. But food was alright. I just wanted to ask if they are halal. Until I so pig curry. From that moment I knew non of there meats are halal. If only Valentine have some Halal food to make it more enjoyable. Thank you ☺️☺️☺️

Service was great 👍 service with a smile. Food was average. Unfortunately we did have an incident, where we did order our steaks first but other tables after us who arrived received them first . Could possible use a table number system to ensure whoever orders steaks first receives them first . However all in all I did enjoy the night .

Quite different from childhood experience More quantity over quality, buffet style but we would prefer a few good dishes to select from. Seafood was tasteless, had to have salt n I never add salt. Prawns were ok & oysters apart from being small which to be honest was expected. hot food items I liked the most would be the lamb flank, chickpea dish & deep fried potatoes 😞 only went as local western-style buffet. Staff were nice enough and efficient in clearing away plates. Unfortunately that is not enough to return

Me and my friends had a wonderful dinner at Valentines Manukau. They have a wide range of food and beverage options that were affordable and delicious. The front of house waitress, Guimiander, was super welcoming and helpful. I would definitely come back again!

I did my parents birthday there she gave me more space then I should have had for the evening. For that I thank these guys for making it happen n making it special for us. Thanks heaps valentines Manukau food was worth the price too beautiful
