Rude service and I was served with rudeness & wrong order this was during night time 7-9pm. Very long wait in line and the operator's changed which made my order somehow different and they missed out 2x vulnerable orders that I had order before the operator's changed. I couldn't add and had to go and wait inline again. I couldn't bare the long wait again. 3x people missed out on dinner that night. Thank you very much Manukau McDonald's yous don't deserve to work there if you can't served the people their correct order's and to change operator's during a order was such a stupid move finish up the order with your customer before changing. Very sad and poor service. Very unhappy customer.

Arrived and placed order at terminal. Noticed customers who were placing orders in store were not being fulfilled. After waiting for over half an hour, and about a dozen groups waiting ahead of me decided to request a refund. Staff member called manager on duty over. Refund processed, paid with card but refund paid in cash. Manager gave me a bogus company name when I asked who owned the franchise. When I asked if they could would write it down they said I could just find online, and I didn't because the company they gave only exists as a hairdressers in NZ. Manager said two staff members had phoned in sick, better training on how to manage unexpected leave. Manager was rude and did not communicate with customers about the delay. Also, food was piling up in boxes without anyone specific to dispatch orders. Sign on the way in said respect our staff but maybe this store needs to respect its customers.

Simple order wasn't made correctly. How hard is it to put bacon in a bagel? Whoever was on sandwich duty this morning did not care about disappointing the customer. Also I tried 4 times to call over an hour period without an answer so it would seem the problem lies in management who also doesn't seem to care about customer service. Sort it out.

Terrible food. My wrap was split open with contents falling out. My burgers are usually poorly made and chips cold. But this wrap tops them all.

Honestly, should have read the reviews before I came to this place! Absolutely rude service! They forgot my chips, I went back in there and I asked about it she just grabbed the bag and threw them in there and ignored me. Absolutely appalling!! I’m never going back there again. The lady at the drive through was really lovely, I wished I spoke to her instead. 😞

Burgers were disgusting! Struggled to eat our burgers with the amount of mayonnaise. Tried to scrap out most of mayonnaise but that meant removing the lettuce as well. Spent $52 on what was supposed to be our family cheat night & we couldn't enjoy it!! Extremely disappointed & will not be going back to this McDonald's.

Horrendous service last night. Tried talking and waited a couple mins at the drive through and got no response hence drove to the front to order and they got rude to us as well as asking us to go back in the queue which had 3 vehicles at this point. These ladies need to seriously learn some manners

Stingy as workers - ordered and paid for EXTRA hot fudge sauce and this is what they served. We asked them about it and they said this is what extra fudge looks like... Literally smaller than the normal ones from anywhere else. Ripping people off

I ordered two double mc chicken combo I was asked to wait in car park I waited there for half an hour nobody came. Then I asked one of the staff about my order, she said they have given ur order to someone else. Nobody apologised. Later I got my order At home when my kids opened the bag it was not double mc chicken. So i have terrible experience

Place lost it's good atmosphere many users ago and still hasn't picked up. The kiosks aren't working some day's and nights leaving us standing at counters waiting for quite sometime before someone actually decides to come over. Recent visit here was super slow Service as usual. Definitely not my go to maccas but convenient at times.

Every time myself or my wife orders a iced coffee mocka, its either theres no sugar in it or its a iced coffee latte we get instead. Why is it that it always tastes different. Shouldn´t there be one way only of making it? 😡😡

Always has badly made Big Macs without fail. Just slop it together with no care. Disgrace. One time I asked for a refund and got a "Don't care attitude". I hate this branch they suck!!! Don't go there.

Drive through: Never easy! Got there JUST before a buildup of cars in the lineup. The smart thing here though... they have x2 answer call order machines. NICE & zip-like flow... WELL DONE! Staff was pleasant & GREAT smiling eye contact. 🤩

We stopped here to have breakfast, got here after 6am the door was locked. The staff were just walking around ignoring us, we were right outside the door. I kept knocking at the door and then the lady who could be the manager in charge shouted out saying that they don’t open til 8am. I called out that your sign said you’re open at 6am but she shouted back that she has no staff. She didn’t even apologise or say it in a way that a customer would accept it, her tone was straight out ‘I can’t open, I don’t have any staff’ Wow, what a service. At least have some manners, put a sign at the front door so your customers would know rather than having to try and get your attention for us to find out that you’re not open. Very disappointing customer who’s just asking for a simple customer service which I’m sure shouldn’t cost anything.

The ice cream machine at this McDonald’s is always broken. Like, ALWAYS. I’ve never been to a McDonald’s whose ice cream machine is broken as much as this one. What is the difference? Is it the staff? Is it the maintenance guy? Is it the owner? It doesn’t matter what time of day it is. The ice cream machine will probably be broken.

Every now and then we visit this Mc Donalds just to see if anything has changed in terms of their service and food quality just to give it a “chance”. Visited today and yet again they failed to provide satisfactory customer service right from the get go. A request to the RM or the owner, the staff there are either poorly trained when it comes to preparing orders or just unhappy, the quality and presentation of the food is unacceptable, you can clearly tell the difference between this site versus any other Mc Donalds in the area. My recommendation currently based as at 28/11/21 to anyone wanting to grab a bite from this branch would be : if you don’t mind driving another 2 mins go to a different Mc Donalds if you don’t want to be disappointed. @Manukau Mc Donalds you really need to up your game.

No toilet paper in ladies loo, had to drip dry 😡. Place is dirty and it's not because of the staff, it's because it looks like people were literally throwing all their food on the floor. Poor guy was having to empty the bin area with his hands because people don't know how to use one. Fast service and friendly staff.

Fast, attentive and friendly is only then beginning at this McDonald's! The food was fresh, hot and beautifully presented! Looks like the pictures! Was most impressed! Highly recommend!

2 lanes open the operator switched back in forth between lanes in the middle of my order. Paid extra for sauce, never recieved it. Drinks were flat. Food tasted stale. Overall not a good visit. There was a guy set up with his sign for money etc right next to the window. So awkward.

I dont know what happens to the audit done by mcdonalds officials in the restaurant. I think they dont do it anymore. I used to work in mcdonalds and then at that time the fries we used to throw away seems better then what they serve me on Saturday night. Horrible. It looks like they didn't even fried at all. And this is not the first time i got the fries like this. The burger looks been made hours ago. They really need some honest and hard working staff. And on the top it i asked for my loyalty point to get scan on my phone and lady at the drive through confidentiality said they done scan it in this restaurant.

Just got the order 10mins ago and 2 missing chips. Tried to ring Manukau Macdonalds several times but said they were not the shop who prepared. Second time rang said it's not their problem it's uber. They just keep fobbing us off. No help at all. Very bad customer service and not helping the customer at all. So we paid for chips we didnt' get. Help the customer don't just ignore them by not answering the phone the next time.

23 hr mc ds. Was closed to public but uber eats ok to collect. Then I got cold chips and they aren't busy so should be fresh and then I have no suviettes . These employees should make sure we have fresh hot food that haven't been sitting around getting soggy and something to wipe the cold food from my hungry hairy face.

Drink was warm with no ice, burger should have been crispy chicken pattie but gave grilled instead without the bacon, asked for a receipt never got it. Service was fast but would rather have waited an extra 2-4 minutes to get what was ordered

Absolutely awful They got my order wrong, twice, then the patty was cold. They obviously just used the same patty. After all that, I had to make my own burger because it looked as though it had just been thrown into the box. Not to mention they also gave us ice cream cones instead of the sundaes we ordered. Never again

This is what you get when you pay $15.00 for a meal. I only asked to remove chicken patty and have cheese n salad in the burger. No one can be full eating this half cheese burger. Very annoying

On my cheat day, thought I'd have some yummy mcdees, arrived at 7 40am drive through was closed. Waited out the front, A lady opened the door and shouted" vaccine passes out" Food was cold, and breakfast muffins were hard, coffee was warm tasteless and they had no artifical sugar. I have always visited this McDonald's, it's such a shame that I won't be back!

Very bad and really disgusting meal for my dinner, really disappointed hope the person who make and serve me the food doesn’t knows the meaning of food, the burger full of unwanted Mayo and old patty, hope the person put more Mayo to remove the false taste from patty, and while I order the Sprite no sugar with the combo and they are more concerned about my Health, so they give me some ice water will little soda, thanks manukau McDonald’s for the wonderful meal and please don’t serve this to any of the customers. Ordered Choc Top but offered chocolate syrup for dipping, didn't set up system correctly, no team member communication but blame on each others fault. Asked for refund but took too long to consider the refund. Paid extra money for just soft serve no chocolate top. Don't want to block the drive through, drive away with disappointment eventually. Ignorance customer service from part of the team at drive through. Done in always good. Then three stars to good service at dine in.

We came to allow my grandchildren to play after lunch, there were not many tables, but all of them were filthy. They were doing takeaway orders only, and it was absolute chaos at the counter, with none of the staff even knowing which order was for which customer. My daughter was given the wrong order, and had to go back. My wrap was so stale, the edges were crusty and dry, and it stuck to the wrapper, so it completely fell apart. Having said all that, my coffee was amazing, and the grandchildren had a great time. It's just a shame about the food.

Staff were really helpful when my autistic son was guttered about his large sundae coming in the plastic cup as the ordering system shows the paper and he was visually expecting a cup. They kindly remade this for him saving a full meltdown 🙏

Ordered double cheese burger without mustard and ketchup but big mac sauce. Received double cheese burger with ketchup. Missing basic ingredients. Negligence, forgot the sweet and sour sauce as well. Threw the burger in the trash after opening it. Please close this branch down and turn it in to a parking lot instead.

I haven't been there in quite a long time as I believe it has always been my go-to for fast food over the past 40 years and I was amazed to see how nowadays I can actually place my order electronically and just listen out for my number, but overall I hardly ever go there nowadays because I believe it's one of the most very Significantly unhealthy fast foods I've ever heard of and I've recommended to myself strictly to really have it in moderation just as a random treat like once a month and not binge on it too much, but I absolutely believe that it's by far one of my go-to fast food franchise since the 1980s and right in the heart of South Auckland (Manukau Central) so I would rate it to be a 10 out of 10.

Have had a fare share of visiting Mc Donald's in the area and I must say, the Manukau is far better service, no missing items in my order, no out of order items etc. Kids play area is spacious and eating area too. Chips were tasty its the first time the whole family of 5 ate all their chips. Their crispy chicken wrap was good too. Highly recommended.

Quite often I find either the ice cream or shakes machine are broken or out of order which are the 2 items that my kids love and thats what i order. This place can get very busy for anyone doing orders over the counter so use drive thru where possible. Service is ok, staff do try their best but equipment lets them down.

Unfortunately, three kiosks were not working, making the ordering process very slow and difficult as there were inadequate staff on-site to deal with the influx of customers and drive thru. Maybe poor design or planning on management. Staff did try their best to accommodate the situation

Had just recently ordered Uber eats from here and in my bag was a big cockroach sitting in the meal bag between my burgers. Super disgusting and goes to show how dirty the kitchen is definitely won’t be ordering from here what so ever. Highly do NOT recommend.

I occasionally use the drive through hoping that TODAY will be the day that I don't have to check the order and walk to the window and ask for something they've missed out ... or drive back and ask. Having said that, the people in the windows are always polite, friendly and willing to help. It is very very popular so the drive thru can be a bit of a wait.

Service here was slow and didn't care,not a good sign if you wanting quick meal. They had orders ready to be collected but they were just placed next to our orders to get cold 🤦🏾‍♂️ Drive seemed to get better service.

One of the counter staff were very rude, the self ordering machine didn't give us a receipt for our order number. When asking for sugar for our coffee the staff member said she already gave us sugar. And the table we sat at wasn't wiped down properly.

Very slow, no receipts, food arrived at table cold and with items missing, no condiments available, had to queue again for sugar and staws. Interior refurb in progress, half way through meal machinery and bandsaws started inside the store. Unpleasant experience, feel sorry for the staff working in these conditions, they were miserable and can't blame them.

First time I've been inside since the new self-service kiosks have been installed. Very different from the smiling service staff but still very efficient. If you want the personal touch, go through the drive-thru

Thursday 1st Sept at 11.20am, window chick was useless, deaf and clueless. We had a small order yet someone still managed to give us the wrong drink. Annoying.

Typical fast food outlet. Minimum staff interaction, although they were on hand to clean up and replace fries that a child dropped on the floor and walked away from. I was told the ice cream machine wasn't working, only to see someone with an ice cream 10 minutes later.

I was a little confused with the points promotion on the app and so I asked the girl at the counter who happened to be the manager. I appreciated how she helped me to understand it better. She gave me the time and day. Excellent Service. Thank you so much.

Today our food took a very long time. When they called my number to pickup the order there were a couple things missing that I had to continue to wait for. My drink had ice which i ordered NO ice and had to tell them. I understand it was around 2pm and probs lunch rush but upon watching the staff, some had no sense of urgency at all! No numbers to get table delivery! No trays to eat off so had to ask for extra bags to separate our food to eat out of. When we went to eat all our burgers were cold! Go figure! And the chips werent filled right up like they usually are. But we ate because it took that long to get them I didnt want to have to wait even longer to get hot burgers and more chips than we should have! Usually this mcdz has had fast service and hot food. But what a huge let down! Completely disapointed this time around!

I ordered a massive mcmuffin combo which comes with a hot drink usually hot chocolate & hashbtown. I did not order a mccafe hot chocolate but I got one anyway, which works out over an extra dollar. So please be specific when you order or you'll get something else for more!

The order taker charged me for the wrong order. They should really pay attention and ask if we have the right order. I just realised when I got home that they charged me $83 dollars but I only ordered a mates hunger buster, two medium chocolate shakes and an ice cream cone. I am a McDonald’s employee myself, so I would know. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it but I am really disappointed.

Loved it....one of the best McDonald's I have been to. Constantly saw staff around cleaning and clearing. Very clean McDonald's and play area for the kids with a good set of dyi kiosks to order food from. Serviette holders were always full and staff friendly and happy to help.
