Super bad. Cold soggy Naan and slimy chicken and cold tough gross pakora. Really? And the girls serving were so rude. I believe a "hey I'm talking to you" was thrown at my sister. We never spit food out and this was spat out in public . Not even my one year old niece will eat it. Gross!!!

Hey guys. So over the years i have been pretty much become a regular at the Shamiana in the Manukau Mall. I have notice their food quality has become quite poor also with their service. Food wise there has been multiple times where I found chicken bones in the meal that I order. The portion of the meal everyone is paying more for what they receive, its just not the same as a few years back. Service can be delayed. Had me waiting 5 to 10 minutes just to take my order and these seems to happen quite often. One staff had told me he was the only one working .When serving the naan bread. The man had put three naan breads aside and served me with a burnt one. Sorry for the negative review. It is what it is.

The naan bread was thick and extremely doughy, the Rogan Josh was watery and definitely was not medium heat. No flavour. Definitely will not be back!

Butter chicken had a huge piece of chicken, looked like a tandoori chicken piece. Photo attached. If charging price like a wine and posh eatery atleast cut the chicken into proper sized pieces. Flavor also not worth the money they charge.

The Veg Korma was loaded with water and sugar. Most disgusting korma I’ve ever tried. Not only that - the potato curry was dry and hard. Such a let down after a hard day at office!! 😢🤬

Nothing good at all Worst customer service as we were waiting to order but they just ignored that we were there and keep on serving other people who came after us. So rude staff with lots of attitude Has been served burnt bread most of the time i got the food from here. Quality of food is not very nice, can say below the average. Would never recommend anyone to go here.

Food is extremely bland. Sauce is watered down. Naan bread and chicken are dry. Overall, just not worth it. Im really disappointed.

How unfortunate, when they see that the Naan bread is this burnt yet still gives it to the customer. The lady who served us, her attitude and customer service was lacking in all areas - sad way to end the weekend.

Used to go here all the time after yesterday never again several hours later after having the butter chicken my toddler started spewing it all out and then me and my partner did with sore stomach also searched up the problem it says food poisoning never going back again

Today I went with my family and was so disappointing. The kadai chicken gravy meat was rotten and we throwed it in the bin. I told the staff and they were so rude saying the chicken was very fresh and I did not have further conversation with them. I dont know why these indian shops are cheating people like this. The council has to do periodical anonymous checks on these indian shops. I am writing this review because I had a diarrhea. I kindly request all the people to read the review and then proceed. I will never recommend this shop to anyone

Can't express how bad the customer service is everytime we go here as my children love the butter chicken. we got served yesterday was given a burnt and rubbery nahn bread. These people on the counter have no respect for anyone😕😡

Food is so bad, this is not Indian food. It seems like they just mixed masala meat in hot water. I bought veg peas and paneer, and honestly I don’t think it even went in a wok/ pot, looks like came straight out of packet. Total waste of my money.

Poor quality food. Just wasted money. Onion bhajia is really very hard to chew, vegetarian korma curry awful taste. Naan cold and soggy. Throw in Rubbish.

There is no gravy in curry only water, worst food.

Really enjoyed the Butter Chicken. The Garlic Naan tasted Good as well. The guy behind the counter that normally makes the naan (Short Arabic Guy) his customer service has always been awesome I remember him having his restaurant in Manurewa next to countdown he was exceptional back then and I see hes still same today. Thank you!!!

Very poor service. Very rude also. Never buying from there again. They charged extra $2 for my meal. I kept helping them sum up the total and they kept refusing that they over charged. Then they got embarrassed in front of the waiting customers, so rudely they gave me a refund without even apologising.

There butter chicken is the best you must go there

I buy butter chicken from here quite often and it always tastes really good, only problem is the pricing, which is way too expensive if you ask me. Staff are also not the friendliest but some are very nice.

If I could rate a Zero, I would. I went to Manukau Shamiana inside Westfield mall and just for these little amount of containers cost me $30, something you would expect for a combo price. When I told the lady I didn't want rice with it and just to fill other side with the order I wanted, she was like double the charge and I was like to her I don't want the rice so you should fill out the other side of container with same thing I'm ordering, she then looks at me annoyed and was like they don't charge for rice!! The half containers they give for take away is the size of what a two year old would be fed with, not a grown adult. Never again buying from this place. They don't seem to care for their customers so they obviously don't need our business. Therefore hope it shuts down and be replaced with something more worth for your money.
