Wonderful set of contemporary art exhibits. Much more interesting overall than most modern art museums I have been to. Very much worth a visit if you're in Avignon and interested in modern/contemporary art.

Wonderful space, large exposition with a variety of different artists, works, and media (photo, film, audio, sculpture...). Accessible and well worth the admission.

The collections of art here at the beginning of June 2022 were not my favorite. Frankly they made me rethink my artistic interests. I thought I enjoyed more modern art, but frankly I was not impressed and found some of the work lacking in ability and depth. In fact outside of the Lambert collection the others reminded me of Kindergarten and other young "art" examples. This collection as well as the Picasso's in Cannes made me rethink my interests in modern and abstract art. To the artists, I am sorry I may not be understanding or fully comprehending your works. I'd love insight

I travel a lot and I can say that this museum has one of the best collections of contemporary art that I have seen in the last 2 years. Especially when compared with other major museums, which often have rather boring expositions.

Really enjoyed this. €10 entry. Lots of diverse works. Not for everyone but if you like the absurdity, humour, decorativeness, impenetrability, and madness of contemporary art, it has some great stuff. Staff really helpful. Would help to have more descriptions in English but overall a great 90 mins spent.

There are a lot of museums in Avignon, but if you're interested in contemporary art, this is a must see. There's a sense of fun in the exhibits I saw (some were in the process of getting changed over, so there will be something different soon) & definitely engaging.

Nice place documenting the poor state of modern (visual) art. I was disgusted by most of the exhibited stuff.

If you love modern (and perhaps a little eclectic) art, you will like this collection. Surprising big.

I didn’t get to see the permanent collection as it was in the process of being rearranged. The temporary exhibitions were varied, of course, but really interesting and arranged with a sense of fun. The building is an attractive place for such modern art exhibits, unobtrusive and adaptable.

A lovely modern art collection with a nice permanent collection. We saw a really interesting exhibitions by Vik Muniz while we were there. Absolutely worth the 10 euro entrance fee.

A relaxing contemporary museum of arts with plenty of space to just enjoy the environment. Wasn’t many people during our visit which was great as it allowed us to truely enjoy the surrounds. The restaurant La Violette was closing so we didn’t manage to try but I’ve been advised (by the locals) it’s a must try. Good facilities to cater for all walks of life.
