Food is so delicious and cheap. The service is sooo good~and the waiter helped us to translate menu into English! Recommended for EVERYONE!!!

Popped in for a spontaneous lunch. Absolutely delicious tartines (their speciality): a selection of hot or cold toppings on toast. The three cheese and pear one was so tasty! As were the desserts. Try the chocolate mousse or hazelnut tart. Friendly, low pressure service. Highly recommended all round.

Touristy and lacking variety. A bit on the ordinary side, was disappointed.

They were out of foie gras AND the chocolate cake 😢 BUT, everything we ordered was REALLY good. Fun sandwiches, welcoming wait staff, cool interior, very reasonable prices (2 tartines, 2 desserts, a wine and a G&T were 34€). Family-friendly, cozy, and delicious. A very French experience— highly recommended 🏆👍❤️

This is a gem. A place w bike outside decorated w crocheted pieces she to be investigated. The best prices in the center. Also outside area by church. In business for half a century you can see the desserts on display. Soup du jour and hot tartin of pesto tomatoes mozzarella delicious. Too much for one so took home half in doggie bag. Great service and in English. 😎

Liked this so much the first time we visited that we went back later in the week. Great atmosphere and music, good food ( including for vegetarians), friendly staff. C'est superb!

Cute place with tasty Tartines as specialty, basically a slice of bread with different kinds of toppings. Service is helpful, and good vegetarian options are available. Nice outdoor seating area if weather is good.

Unfortunately we couldn’t really taste the food, since we were yelled by the (I assume) manager that the place was full on a Sunday at 20h, with many empty tables. He pretty much yelled in front of all customers, even scared the young girl that was working there and was being lovely to us. This gentleman though, he really seemed unbothered to yell at potential customers out of nowhere, and I understand you are full today, but you will be empty tomorrow if you behave like this. We almost pitied the poor girl working there that sadly told us “sorry, we are fully booked” with the empty tables and the angry manager behind her… hope you find a better boss soon! Try instead Bodus, the burguer place on the right, or Le Pili, a nice Italian place also serving drinks.

A very cute, quaint place on a lovely leafy square - it feels a bit like a village cafe from the fifties. The menu (deliciously topped breads, a soup of the day and salads) is simple but really nice, the wine was excellent, the service very friendly and the atmosphere unforgettable. Thank you!

Sympa ! Simple and well prepared dishes. The Rosé de Provence AOP was quite good. Friendly server.

Great beer choices. The red, berry beer was refreshing. They have a nice range of sandwiches and good service.

Great value for lunch or a simple dinner. The tartines are huge and delicious. The 3 cheeses and pear was amazing. You can get a side salad for a couple of euro. The desserts are also good. This square is my favourite place to sit in Avignon, under huge trees next to a fountain. Great place, especially if you’re on a budget

Good food, good wine friendly and fast service and very well priced. English menus without a touristy vibe. Authentic French dishes with local produce. Very cozy and welcoming family owned restaurant. We got Tartines both times we visited here and a pot of wine and desserts and loved every bite.

Very Nice place. Great sandwitches (if you are into cheese, paté, salami, dried meats etc). Large portions at insanely low prices.

Loved it. Very reasonable prices. Recommend the cheese and meat plate, but the specialty are open faced sandwiches. Goat cheese and honey was interesting but the croque.monsieur was fabulous. It's hard to get seated for more than four.

Good food, casual place. The perfect place for a tasty and feel-home dinner. The main dishes consist of slices of toasted bread with toppings. The desserts look and taste amazing. The prices are not high. Anyways, I have to point out that the waiters don't speak English and for us out was difficult to communicate. We reserved a table but the wait didn't understand, making us seat in another table and keeping the reserved one free for the whole evening. Moreover, the table we got was really small for 4 people, making it impossible to cut our food. But apart from that the restaurant is recommended!

It was a 100 degree day in Avignon but it was still pleasant sitting in the shade by the fountain. We had two of their signature Tartines and a bottle of French Cidre. They accepted our CDC vaccination certificate in lieu of the Pass Sanitaire. There are many establishments with outside patio dining but it is worth your effort to find this one.
