Recommended by our friend and it certainly live up to it. Scollop and the salmon starter were amazing. My veal main course is the best veal I have ever had. The portion size was good, so after the very nice dessert, lemon sorbet with "soup" of strawberry, I am absolutely full. A nice walk in the old town of Avignon help me to digest the meal nicely.

One of the most memorable meals ever. The chef/owner kept the restaurant open FOR US. The place just felt special and unique upon entering. He only had one thing on the menu: white fish, over risotto, with sauteed veggies. Sounds boring. It wasn't. It was simply incredible. Paired with a perfect bottle of chablis. nice

We visited here based on a recommendation from someone local to Avignon and we were not disappointed! The meal was fantastic - and all cooked and served by one man. We have scallop ceviche and pea soup for starters which were both divine. Highly recommend.

A small restaurant with a limited menu - 1 starter, 2 fish/2 meat mains, 1 desert. In the middle of Avignon old town but down a small side street. Well woth seeking out. Everything was cooked and presented to least 1 Michelin star standards. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect dinner. An unassuming restaurant out from the town centre where everyone says "Bon soir" when you enter. Joseph is front of house, waiter and chef. The menu has 2 starters, 2 fish dishes, 2 meat dishes and 2 desserts - simple, uncomplicated and all absolutely divine. No pretensions, no fuss but food of a quality not found outside Michelin starred restaurants.....all for less than you would pay in a tourist brasserie on any of the main squares.
