Some pretty old houses and a beautiful water wheel. Too bad the street is so dirty and poorly maintained

A historic street in Avignon with many anecdotes. Worth a guided visit. But it is also home to very good little restaurants, boutiques, second-hand clothes, an artist gallery and theaters... one of the liveliest streets of the typical intra muros with its cobblestones...

The most picturesque of Avignon with cobblestones and water wheels. The street of dyers which comes from no dyeing. There are bars and restaurants open all year round. The Smoking Dog Theater is a very good program all year round. It's a shame that many restaurants and theaters are only temporary during the festival. There is the Cordeliers chapel open from time to time. Every year at the end of spring, beginning of summer and in the fall there is the Dyer's Ball The bodegas fanfare.
