A very interesting historical museum that we personally found well organized and worth a visit. Dedicated to the history of the Jews who volunteered in the British army during the first and second world wars.

A gem of a museum right in midst of Netanya, in a charming Moshav called Avichail. The museum documents the volunteer soldiers who joined the British Army initially to expel the Ottomans and fight for the Jewish land. Well presented by guides and movies. The historical part is fascinating with videos of the leadership and documented information for each volunteer. Fascinating part of the ongoing dedication and courage to fight for a Jewish homeland. Great for kids also.

Very interesting museum. Born in England and living in London my father z'l was called up in August 1941 and was in the British 8th Army. On the formation of the Jewish Brigade he volunteered to be transferred. Going around the museum I was amazed to see a photo of him on display together with other soldiers during a visit of Moshe Sharet ( Shertock ) to H.Q of The Brigade.. We had never seen this photo and it sent a shiver down my spine.
