A completely restored historical hammam from the 15th century. Now the space is used for various kinds of performances. For example, until November 30, 2021, here you could see an exhibition of installations by South African artist Jake Michael Singer “We will meet again in the light” (13 sculptures of human-sized birds, the smell of freshly cut grass, music and iron canes surrounding the sculptures, as well as paintings artist within the framework of this topic). Now from February 10 to March 12, 2022 - Merve Tun’s exhibition “O’NUN VAKASI. Sahneler, Formülasyonlar, Türevler.” The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 18:30. Please note that the entrance to this historical hammam (exhibition center) is from the street. Şerefiye (you can navigate by Gül Cami, it is just opposite the entrance).

Entry is free. Biennial works are exhibited. It's a very big building. Thank you very much to those who restored it. There is no parking. Park in a suitable place and come

This year, as before, I visited it as part of the Istanbul Biennial. It is a very impressive structure and adds a different atmosphere to the biennial. I advise you not to miss the special exhibitions held here. The place bears the traces of the classical Ottoman Empire. Its location is simply described on maps. It was a place I visited after the Balat tour.

It was a place I couldn't go to during the Istanbul Biennial. I visited it during my trip to Balat. Contrary to its name, it is a very big building :) It's empty now, but it's a place worth visiting. It has a different aura.

We went for the biennial. The interior is very beautiful. Thanks to the biennial, it is very good to see such places. Since it is a place you can reach by walking, you may not like the streets you pass through.

We experienced it as part of the 17th Istanbul Biennial and it was very impressive. You can also watch the installation in the video. It was great to include Fatih in the scope of the biennial. Those who like it can also see the tiled bath during the biennial, 15 minutes walking distance.

We discovered it by chance when we were exploring the back streets after breakfast, which was perfectly restored. It was a very nice experience, especially the whispering playground (the exhibition that was there when we went) the acoustics were amazing.

The Historical Küçük Mustafa Pasha Bath will be open to visitors as part of South African Artist Jake Michael Singer's site-specific installation exhibition between 3 October and 30 November 2021.
