If you have high standards like me, you will love this place. I come to Istanbul a lot. This time for a medical procedure. I stayed in many hotels in Istanbul that did not meet my expectations. Many are old, unclean or have bad service. This time I was looking for a hotel with a washing machine and this is how I found Wanda Vista. I was hesitated at first due to the location, but I much rather stay in a beautiful, modern and clean accommodation that is a bit further out, then in any cramped, old hotel with bad service, closer in in the city. I found my home away from home! :)

I enjoyed the room a lot, it was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was big as well with a shower and a bath tub. I enjoyed the breakfast which was varied. The hotel offers free parking and free wifi. It is located near a mall and an outlet which is really nice if you want to kill some time. The location is not the best if you want to visit the center of istanbul. The staff was really nice and helpful. I didn't like the smell in the hotel, especially in the lobby smelled really bad. Our room had issues with the windows, we could hear the traffic all the time. The room was on 1st floor and I could hear an ambulance every 20 minutes. There is a church nearby and the services seem to run day and night ! Which is not great. If you have the room located on the other side of the road it might not be that bad. I saw many guests with surgeries in the hotel, walking in pyjamas with bandages and it made me feel uncomfortable. We didn't get refills for the shower gel. When we arrived we literally had a shower gel, a shampoo, two hair conditioners, and one bathrobe. For two people that wasn't enough. There are some details that need more attention.

This hotel should have been given another year before opening, because there's a lot of things that is still not in place (definitely do not deserve the 5 star rating). We saw cracks in the walls, we had leaking AC, hair on beds, towels and If you look under the furniture, you will find dust, hair, sticky floor and very dirty surfaces. Please get female cleaners because those lads didn't have a clue how to clean (in 7 nights we didn't get our bedsheets changed so I went and took it myself and changed our beds). Staff need to take more courses in customer service (stayed 5 nights in lower rated hotel in town with better customer service), they don't even look at you when you are talking to them or tell you of other services provided at the hotel like other hotels do. Location is very far from the main tourist attractions and cabs will try to scam you (always ask for the meter to be put on as it's sometimes cheaper than what they are asking for) and not much things to do around the area part from hanging around in the malls( mall of Istanbul, 212 outlet). This was 7 long nights spent here due to a friend recovering from surgery and we couldn't wait to leave.

A large comfortable room. Staff are attentive. Their English is not good, but Google translate worked for me. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and plentiful. There was a well equipped gym, which was quiet each time I went, and a sauna and steam room in the changing room. I would recommend.

On first impression, the hotel seems good, but there are issues with window soundproofing and a clogged sink. In the non-smoking room, there's a smell of cigarette smoke from neighboring rooms, indicating poor ventilation. And heating system not working. Another room had a musty chemical odor. When staying in a 5-star hotel, one would expect these issues to be absent. Additionally, there's a strong scent of air fresheners in both the hotel and rooms. Usually, 5-star hotels consider different preferences, and some might not appreciate the scent, especially considering potential health risks from the included toxic substances in air fresheners. For example volatile organic compounds (VOCs), benzene, formaldehyde, toluene, m, p-xylene, phthalates and more. Such conditions can be dangerous for people with allergies or asthma. But hotel staff not aware about it. Up to 18% of people have asthma. But hotel staff not aware about it.

I stayed there twice. First start was pleasant. The place was clean and the facilities are excellent. The location, not so much Second time was a disaster. Rude receptionist, facilities were closed down, bad smell in the room, and I found a used condom on in the shower!!! I spoke to the receptionist and asked them to change the room. On the next day the services manager asked me how things are going. It seemed like this issue was not raised to her. She later apologized and graciously offered us a 2 hour checkout and sent us a plate of fruit, but the damage was already done.

The worst hotel service I have ever had in my entire life! I once came back to the room and the room was completely dirty! I had also requested to have the dirty bedsheets changed, and obviously they did not change them. So I decided to call the reception asking to have it cleaned up again, but no one ever came. They practically completely ignored my request! I also once asked for kitchen utensils and they were completely dirty, as if they were coming directly from a storage room. Not to mention the food experience was additionally horrible! I ordered a chicken burger and this is what I get? It definitely didn’t taste and look like chicken meat, but more like processed meat fried patty?? They were very kind enough to let me change it with something else, so I end it up changing it with porcini mushroom risotto which was also not that great, but definitely better than the chicken burger. I don’t think I will ever order food and stay at this hotel ever again! Which is a pity, because the rooms and the hotel itself are quite nice.

What's not to love about this hotel. Amazing location, impeccable decor, courteous international standard staff, professional, non judgemental and very pleasant! From food, to rooms, to staff to ambience...I'd make this my default hotel every time. I gotta mention what GREAT fortune I had that I bumped into the hotel manager Vincent at a time when I needed a good Samaritan on my side. My mom had fallen ill with high fever and he went out of his way to get me Tiger Balm and some remedies for her to feel better. It really made day and night difference for her. Then Vincent followed up with me later to make sure she was doing better. Now that's how you make a guest feel like nothing else matters. He even divided that I wouldn't know that the vending machine would only work with credit card n he offered me that knowledge too. He's an angel. The support staff "bell boys" and front desk staff, everyone was so pleasant it made the guests pleasant too n some of us had very lovely conversations

The hotel is good and the restaurant was fine but the service was very bad. We had three resident rooms for few days, which require cleaning but as per their policy cleaning service is chargeable. The issue that we paid for service that wasn’t provided. We requested cleaning but what they done is only changing towels and bath materials but without changing bed sheets and/or bath robes. Also I had an incident with the concierge person that was solved when I threatened him of calling police because he was trying to fraud me. Another issue that hotel team is not welcoming as they were forced to do their job. The restaurant experience was good and restaurant supervisor (forgot his name) was very gentle and also welcoming every time we visited the restaurant. Other than that I highly don’t recommend the hotel. The two stars was because of the restaurant supervisor.

Service at this hotel is amazing. I like to comment on specifically Tolga and Ahmet as wait staff for breakfast. Friendly and nothing is too hard of a task. The reception people have great English and very informative. The cleaners are efficient. Service here is definitely top notch and I highly recommend staying here. Sometimes English is an issue, however there is always someone who can understand or google translate works a treat.

I absaloutly love this hotel. The rooms are fantastic and spacious. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The gym is amazing, and the spa is amazing with great massage and treatments. Would highly recommend. Ps room service is quick too! Very close to the Istanbul Mall.

I have visit this hotel July 2023 and January 2024, both times i was very pleased to be in this hotel. service was perfect, every one from the staff was ready to help for any need you have, breakfast very delicious food and lot of different varieties to choose. if I am going to travel back to Istanbul I will choose again Wanda Vista, also I will suggest to other people who travel to Istanbul

Very clean rooms, good service at the reception, everyone speaks English here so communication is not a problem. You get all the amenities that you should get. Would definitely be back.

I cant say, that its 5* hotel at all. Rooms are abdolutly empty. There are no even plastic spoon. Also its not so clean as in other hotel rooms. But service is good. Personal always ready to help you with all your qustions

Hotel is nice no issues but the evening shift from desk people are so rude the guy taner if I’m spelling his name right he wasted our time so much to order food we waited an hour after an hour he canceled are order it was 12 am we have to take are toddler out for dinner so late because of him. I didn’t like his service super rude guy.

Avoid at all cost! Reception and room cleaning service are non existence. They are rude and despite being called multiple times do not attend to you. Location is terrible. The pool was disgusting with the floor being green with algae. The room service came in, made beds and left. The bins were not emptied and floors were not swept. Requested room service multiple times and they did not answer so reception said they would send someone and guess what no one turned up! Below standard service. Snobby staff. Do not recommend at all!!!!

This hotel looks good. Cleanliness though can be improved. I noticed that most hotels in Turkey could definitely improve the cleanliness. For a 5 star hotel the standard should be raised. The room was very spacious. The hotel is not near the main attractions.

Had a really good time and was looked after exceptionally well by rayan and his cleaning team came here with my daughter who had a operation and the the whole hotel pulled together to make the visit here a genuinely lovely experience I would say for a lovely calm break away this hotel is definitely one I would use again

This is a little complicated....the hotel is modern, cool, good restaurants, and absolutely stellar service. Easy parking. We had the Exec Suite which was very large, nicely appointed and nicely designed...modern and sleek. The location is about 1/4 mile from the Istanbul Mall and at the intersection of lots of highways, however traffic around the area for miles in every direction was horrible. 1/2 hour wait for taxi, one hour to the old city, 40 minutes to IST...not because of distance, just traffic, and not at rush hour...anytime. Not the hotels fault...just Istanbul. The hotel has some small maint issues, but were attentive to every need. Service was 5 star. Good place to stay, but if you plan to drive, plan to double the time. Have fun!

Lovely hotel about 25 mins from central tourist areas of Istanbul. Very clean. Room was very comfortable, very spacious and well appointed. Slept well (usually don't) as super comfy bed and very quiet. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was included and did not disappoint. Huge selection buffet style and omelette made as required. Only a short stay to visit a relative. Thank you to Elvira for your help and suggestions. Would recommend.

Very bad. Rooms are published on booking, which in fact are not exist. You will be given a room of the minimum category, they will charge you as for the higher category. They try to cheat at the reception. Rude staff. Be careful and avoid this hotel

One of the greatest hotels in Istanbul near to shopping 🛍 mall 9 min walk 🚶‍♀️, easy to get a taxi around ... Perfect Hotel, perfect in every thing, the studio rooms are spacious and clean ...provided will all needed kitchen appliances... Hospitable,professional staff with great communication skills 👌 👏... I had a lovely experience in this hotel. I highly recommend it ...

Magnificent hotel. I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and the accommodations. I want to mention the two gentlemen working the front desk are very polite and helpful Burak and Alp were the best. I cannot think of a better place to stay. I will definitely come back here!

My husband and I arrived yesterday /29.12/ with other three couples as the plan is to spend New Year's Eve here and the hotel seemed nice at first. The staff was helpful especially Kadir who made a great impression - he helped us with the luggage and we had a small talk in the meanwhile. The rooms are spacious and stylish. However, we noticed that most of the shelves of the wardrobe and nightstands are actually dusty and a bath robe as well as another pair of slippers are missing. We decided not to complain as it was not a big deal and such trivial matters could not spoil our stay. In addition, it is definitely irritating when you have to wait for 10-15 minutes for the elevator since there are only four and the size of the hotel and number of people - much more. Also, the TV sometimes loses connection. We are on the 23rd floor and it is very noisy even when the windows are closed. What was really disappointing is the quality of the food. Our stay includes breakfast and dinner and we did not expect such an unpleasant surprise - the dinner included a traditional banitsa, rice, sturred vegetables and a chicken steak which does not sound bad, nonetheless, the taste itself was awful. There was a small salad with the chicken and the cucumbers were cut into very big pieces as if they are being served to an animal, not guests. We overheard lots of other people on the nearby tables to discuss the food and even cuss at the serving which confirms we were not the only dissappointed ones. Bearing in mind the luxurious atmosohere one could believe the quality is on the same level, however, this is not the case.

I want to give thanks to the young boy of house keeping and the team of the breakfast they are very kindly and helpful, always a smile in their faces and say to you good morning! I can't say the same for the reception team, in general no helpful, no kind and no smile, the young blondie lady with the phone, not nice, sorry. The breakfast is good and the room is nice,in general the hotel is nice. The men's of security are nice too, they look at the eyes and smile. Every night i hear someone play the piano this is so nice, i like it. You work with people, no with things.

Hotel generally not bad. Stuff are good and helpful. Room space is good as well. Cleaning the room was very dusty not clean bathroom was not clean at all i had to call to send someone to clean the bathroom on the first day check in . Missing some things started in all hotels like slippers wasn’t available. They got 4 small elevators not enough for more than 35 floors some times i had to wait for more the 10 minutes to get in. For me i will not visit again

First i didnt like my Room and felt uncomfortable but when i talked openly the Hotel Manager did everything to keep me with my wishes satisfied. So i felt very very comfortable in my room and the room service and the restaurant food which i daily ordered was on Point! The young Hotel Employee named Azzad is very hardworking, fast and motivated when it comes to clean and tidy up the rooms. I wish some others would the same. The female security at the entry is very positive and friendly. and the receptionists are also very friendly and caretaking and talkativ.

I stayed on this hotel for 7 nights. It was not a pleasant stay. While the rooms & facilities were good and clean, many other aspects are lacking and I will share some of them. 1- very unprofessional stuff, when they talk to you it’s like they don’t care about your problem & just want to finish conversation. 2- one day I left my room key inside the room to keep my devices charging and came back to find out it was not only removed, but taken out of the room. Went to reception to complain and had to speak to 3 different people, 2 people were very defensive like nothing is wrong. 3- electricity will disconnect multiple times during the night. Imagine total darkness & Air conditioner off. not to mention, one time I was in elevator 😱 4- one night I had water cut in the toilet. I don’t need to tell you about this experience. 5- parking almost not available at all times due to very small space. 6- room service has no good options for foods & drinks. 7- house keeping has no standards. One day will put 1 towel, other day 2. 8- Very limited number of staff to assist guests. Had to wait 20 minutes to get assistance with luggage. 9- Finally after they came to assist us, some plants 🌱 we had were lost.

This is for sure an amazing new hotel with luxurious design, attentive staff, friendly & relaxing atmosphere for families, friends or couples That's why I chose Wanda Vista for an long stay& felt like a home away from home all the time. Had an overall good experience with super clean rooms and sumptous adequate breakfast. The location is good, close to a mall with MOI some minutes away only. Overall a great stay but dont be surprised if every room cleaning is chargeable at 30 or 4o euros . And the downtown Istanbul is some distance away ...

My family and I stayed at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Istanbul for about two weeks while we toured and visited Turkey. The service we received while staying here was above and beyond. Our checkin was quick and painless and our rooms were clean, well maintained and up to par. The staff at this hotel are kind and helpful, any service we required was always only a phone call away. I had many work and school meetings during my stay and the internet connection here is very fast and strong, carried me through various zoom meetings. I would like to thank all of the kitchen staff and servers, the food was top notch and always fresh. More specifically, I would like to thank kitchen staff Yilmaz and Metin for their diligent service each day at the breakfast buffet. They were helpful, kind, and prompt all throughout our stay and we grew fond of them day after day. The only factor that might deter me from staying at this hotel in the future is probably the location, it was slightly difficult to maneuver around the city from here without a car as it is right off a highway. However if one were to have access to a driver or a car it would be the perfect setup. My family and I highly recommend staying at the Wanda Vista Hotel.

I have a reservation for 5 days in this hotel. Today is the second day. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very impressed with it, but today I left the hotel at 10 in the morning to do my work and came back at 10:30 in the evening. When I entered my room, I found an entry card placed in the electrical plug. At first, I thought I had entered Wrong room? How could open the door with my card ? I entered the room and confirmed that I was not mistaken. I took the other card and went down to the reception. I told him what had happened and he answered me that the cleaner had forgotten it in the room. I told him this was a guest’s entry card and not a workers’ card. He replied confirming that it was. He put the card on the device in front of him to examine it and told me that card doesn't have Entry permit ro my room . I asked him to send someone to check the room with me. If I had any thing missing in my belongings, he send a security guard with me. We entered the room i didn't found any thing missing . The guard apologized to me and left. openly. I did not find any thing missing in my belongings. But when I sat in the room, I could not get it out of my head that people might enter my room While I was in the room, I entered the bathroom. I imagined that someone had entered. I sat down for a while. I actually imagined that some one could enter the room more than 3 times. In fact, I have something missing my secure . I no longer feel secure . How can I sleep when it is possible for same one to enter the room while I am sleeping To all how my see what i have I wrote All of you read the reply from the hotel Now I want to ask if the topic is by mistake Will it happen again? yes, it happened again today, too, but not with me. Stayed for 4 days - couldn’t book the Hotel from their own webpage - had to go through hotels.com Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was ok. If you want Turkish Coffee you just need to ask. The rooms are huge!

Very good hotel. Excellent location near the 212 Outlet. The Deluxe room is big enough - packed with a small kitchen and two toilets. Great view from higher floors. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is fine like other hotels in Istanbul.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious and spotless. Beds & pillows are super comfortable. Great choice for breakfast. Chinese restaurant is fab but beware portions are big. Only downside was the wine is very expensive (around £85 for a bottle of pinot grigio) and when I asked for a glass of wine they had none in the fridge so I was told to go back in 5 minutes but I didn't bother as the bottle was taken off the shelf and put in the fridge and there's no way that would have been cold in 5 minutes.

Very good upscale hotel- staff are very hospitable and warm, always greeted with a smile. Housekeeping exceptionally good, would like to mention Rayan and Adem who kept our room spotless and nothing was too much trouble. Good food at Restaurant and breakfast was very varied. Would highly recommend

The rooms are modern and nice , the service is great, the hotel has a very nice lobby and different areas to spend the time, the play area and pools are great to keep the kids busy on the rainy days. The food is really nice they have a big variaty at breakfast. The housekeeping do their job very well, I want to thank Rayan for his extra care. I would recommend for families👍

We had an amazing stay at the Wanda vista hotel. Hotel was lovely and the staff from reception through to house keeping were amazing to us throughout are stay. Intact house keeping and reception staff went above and beyond for us. Even members of management were amazing to us throughout our stay. And made us feel like it was home from home A huge thank you to them all. Would recommend this hotel when ever visiting Istanbul

Very helpful and kind, we are very happy with her and hope she gets recognition for her amazing work, she is extremely patient and thorough with making sure the room is tidy and clean 😊. It’s a wonderful hotel with best atmosphere and spacious room. The spa is a bonus. Everybody is outgoing to make your stay pleasant. We found mister Ally from the restaurant and breakfast hall a friendly and most helpful and it was our pleasure and honor to be his guests during our 5 days stay in this hotel.

Friendly service and very good rooms with good facilities. The bed and bedding were incredibly good. The room I stayed in also had all the extra facilities; washing machine, kitchen, etc. The only downside is that the hotel is right next to the motorway. Despite all the isolation measures, you can hear the traffic rushing by, especially the many ambulances.
