This place is well-regarded by both locals from Baguio and Benguet, as well as tourists. Although I haven't checked in for a room yet, the location is excellent, situated just in front of the famous Botanical Garden. There are several dining options to choose from, and the hotel also hosts seminars and events. Parking is convenient and doesn't pose any issues.

Booking was a breeze. Didn't even required DP. The room was okay. Spacious and the toilet was excellent. I appreciate that there are rooms without a/c. My view was backdoor though and not sure why since I saw some available rooms looking to the parks. I was actually looking forward swimming in the cold but there was construction on going. Breakfast buffet was okay too. But most memorable was the ubeshots in the bar. The location was the best part. It's my first time to go full commute and the location made it easy to understand jeepney routes.

Extra bed is available gfor additional charge. Their is available grab and taxi if you choose to go in main district since it its 20 minutes walk. Also available their gym upon request in the front desk.

This was our 2nd time staying at Newtown Plaza hotel Nov 2023. Our first time was around Jun 2019. Room was spacious, the view and ambiance was good too. For the price range it was fair enough. Last time the breakfast included on the stay was not a buffet but now it is. There were quite to chose from especially for bread lovers. A bit too far from main city and not a lot of stores you can buy late at night so better order from food apps in case you crave at midnight. Overall our stay was great and will definitely return again.

The place itself is a catch. They have a good function hall and everything. There food is somewhat ok... Though, last time when I was invited for a wedding ceremony they were not able to provide a good tent for the guests. Maybe, the management can provide for this. But over all it was good place. ❀

The front desk needs more training. We asked for housekeeping before we left the hotel in the morning. Went back 3pm to rest, room is still not cleaned. What's annoying is you need to be outside your room while they clean it. So instead of resting, we waited in the lobby. We are out for 7hrs and no one cleaned the room? Food is disappointing. For 2 days, there is always a roasted chicken. Fried fish fillet on the 1st day then the next day, it was fish fillet with brown sauce. Maybe tomorrow fish fillet with tausi haha! Even Chalet, which is cheaper than Newport has better food. Lastly, your doors need updating. In floor, there are also some guests that can't open the door on the first and second try. After the blue light and sound, the door is still stuck.

We stayed here for a week, and I must say that we enjoyed every single day. The staff is highly commendable. I have an appt in DFA and I didn't know that I must bring my triage form. Instead of going back to the hotel, I called the front desk and the one in charge sent a copy of my triage form via email immediately. (Like in less than 2 mins) She saved my day! The room is very spacious, and the mountain view is just spectacular. We were on the top floor (8th floor). This hotel is very suitable for those working remotely like me. The wifi signal is good in our room and everywhere in the hotel. Will certainly recommend this hotel and will be back.

RUDE Front desk, RUDE Chef, and their supervisor or whoever that fat blond woman keeps screaming at us. For accommodation, this place is very unaccommodating. Please do not use this place! There are so many others that are better with welcoming workers in it. This place will make your Baguio stay unpleasant.

They have added restaurants around the hotel. On eof my favorite is El Patron where they have a band playing "The Edralins" every Friday and Saturday. Drinks are affordable, but needs to add more variety. Food is great.

Lunch is between 10:30-1:30pm Arrived late. Was here by 12:45pm We were being rushed by one of the waiters. ANNOYING! We know the time, we were just on our first plate. I don’t think it’s appropriate for someone to rush someone who still has food in their mouth… just about chewing and swallowing and here comes your waiter rushing us… waiters are just there standing waiting for u to finish to grab ur empty plates. Self serve, u have to go get your water to drink. No desserts to consider by the way like an ice cream at least. The beef roast back ribs? IT WAS AWFUL.. the smell, omg parang pabulok na tapos hinabol na niluto… some decent food though so it’s not too bad

We had our lunch with family and friends for unli lunch at 580 each with complimentary coffe and tea na matabang/bland. Clean and good athmosphere. Though you have to pay for 50 pesos parking which I think should not be because we dined at their establishment

Location was excellent as it is just a few steps away from Botanical Garden. Breakfast included in the Agoda deal I booked was so worth it! It was a breakfast buffet with lots of options. Family room is loft type and has a balcony with a good view of the city and mountains. Room amenities includes, coffee, toiletries, slippers, toothbrush and tooth paste!

I love the place. It is well mentained, rooms are big. There are enough safety locks in the room that's why you are secure. I enjoy our stay in Newtown hotel. It's just that, they need to add signage on the hotel to easily find it. They also need to train their staff to have the initiative to welcome and assist their guest. All the staff are approachable naman. Food are also nice. Newtown hotel is good for groups and for solo traveller. It's near Botanical Garden. Overall, I enjoy our stay there and I recommend it.

My family has been coming here at least twice a year for maybe the last 8 years. Still no AC even when it's warm in the summer. TVs are old and the available channels aren't very interesting. Towels are a slight greyish white. And worst of all, the breakfast buffet is not as good as it used to be. Will definitely tell my family to check out other hotels next time.

Staff service is great. They are friendly, accommodating, courteous. I also enjoyed their buffet, merienda buffet was heavy enough that I had no need for dinner anymore. Choices are plentiful.

It is not in the heart of Baguio and the gym is situated in the opposite building. We went when it was raining so we had to dash when going to the gym. Overall, staff are very friendly and the food is good. The facilities are topnotch. Will go again.

Buffet was a little on the dry and on the bland side. A bit oily as well. They also used to serve a lot more, but now the choices aren't as many. Ambiance is really great. Perfect when you have a business meeting.

Our experience with the hotel was good. Booked via Agoda! Very responsive din sila through fb chat especially when we're asking them to approve our Baguio QR code. During check-in, they're very strict with the check-in time which is at 2 PM. The process at the receptionist was smooth and we immediately got our key card. Note that you need to separate the key card from your phone or other electronics as it makes the key card faulty. We had to go back to the lobby to activate again our key card. There are no aircons in our room, but we have a spare electric fan. At the end, we didn't even used it during our second night since it was very cold, maybe because of the rain. There's also an outlet there that you can't even use because it's solid concrete inside. It was weird; even the housekeeping didn't know what to do that time. The room was spacious and clean. Too bad our view was a back of a building. Even numbers at 7th floor would have a good view of Baguio. Another thing that I noticed was that the kettle designated at our room was so dirty :( I was planning to have a cup of coffee but then I saw how dirty the kettle is, especially the spout. For the breakfast buffet, it was also good. They have cereals, eggs, jams, breads, and meats. You can have iced tea or coffee for drinks, and you can also eat beside the pool for a good ambiance. Too bad the food was served cold! Hope they had a way to retain the heat of the food that they serve. You can also avail their lunch or dinner buffet. But if you don't feel like eating at a buffet, there's a cafe, korean store, gorcery mart, and Gerry's grill beside the hotel. If you're out during the day, housekeeping would enter your room to clean it unless you hang the Don't disturb sign outside your door. Staff were friendly and was willing to assist us. The walk to the hotel isn't senior friendly as you need to climb the stairs to reach the lobby.

We were just there for the breakfast buffet...good food variety, tastes great and the place is clean...good for team breakfast or just breakfast for two and you want to pig out...πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Room was excellent - large, comfy and with a great TV. Veranda and view is so nice. Bathroom is annoying because no drain means the floor stays wet all the time. Breakfast is very disappointing, but edible. The reception staff are useless and clueless. Parking is convenient. Location is good if you have a car. Pool isn’t ideal because there are around 100 Filipinos staring at you from the buffet hall. Gym is nice. Sauna is out of order.

As a traveler and speaker, there are few things more important than finding a comfortable and welcoming place to stay during your travels. That's why I was thrilled to have recently had the pleasure of staying at the Newtown Plaza Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warm and friendly atmosphere of the hotel, as well as the exceptional service provided by the staff. One of the first things that stood out to me about the Newtown Plaza Hotel was its location. Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel is conveniently located near many of the area's top attractions, making it the perfect base from which to explore the city. The hotel is also beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, with a range of amenities and services that ensure that guests are comfortable and well-cared for during their stay. Of course, what really sets the Newtown Plaza Hotel apart is its staff. Every member of the team that I encountered during my stay was unfailingly friendly, helpful, and professional, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Whether I needed assistance with directions, recommendations for local restaurants, or just a friendly chat, the staff was always there to help. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about the Newtown Plaza Hotel. From its beautiful location and comfortable accommodations to its exceptional staff and warm, welcoming atmosphere, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're planning a trip to this part of the world, I highly recommend making the Newtown Plaza Hotel your home base. You won't be disappointed!

Doubled book. We called a day prior to confirm our booking and they gave us a go. Take note galing pa kami ng Zambales. When we arrived they said THEY FAILED TO INFORM US THEY DIDNT BOOK US A ROOM. We arrived at 11pm restless expecting a room and got disappointment!

The location is good and the view also looks good. If u will take shower 🚿 u need wait a little bit longer for hot water because Baguio city it's really cold πŸ₯Ά. The breakfast is so bad, all food is cold and the shaobao had a bad smell.

The only place I know who doesn't charge for parking space. We ate at the Elements Buffet. It's more Japanese-themed with ample options all-around. There's just a difficulty on having your drinks since most of the time no one would be able to attend to you and you can't just get a can out of the fridge.

When we checked in, they ask us to wait for around 20 minutes. When they finally give us our room number, the room was totally undone. We have to find another available room in the same floor and inform the lobby which one we are getting. The extra bed only has 1 pillow. Extra pillows are charged 40 pesos each.

Peak season so heavy traffic going to the place is expected. I was not expecting to be charged for parking even if we have an event in the hotel. Sa ibang hotels free ang parking pag may event. Food and service is okay. Tiis tiis lang sa traffic talaga. Malapit kasi sa botanical, wright park, and mansion.

Well, it was the birthday of our Unit Manager, and we ate at Elements Buffet to celebrate it. It was a great breakfast, i especially love the hamonada longganisa, omelet, and the bacon. πŸ’œ Recommended 10/10
