Update
on
the
original
review
I
posted
3
weeks
ago:
After
several
emails
between
an
anonymous
employee/manager
in
Customer
Relations
and
myself
(with
a
delayed
response
from
the
employee
each
time),
I
was
sent
a
short
report
with
the
WRONG
MEDICAL
INFORMATION.
I
was
subsequently
asked
for
my
bank
details
so
that
they
could
issue
me
a
refund.
It’s
been
exactly
15
days,
and
my
refund
has
still
not
been
issued.
Also,
all
my
follow-up
e-mails
have
been
completely
ignored
and
left
unanswered.
This
is
the
kind
of
unprofessional
treatment
you
get
from
the
doctors
and
from
customer
relationship
management
at
this
hospital.

ORIGINAL
REVIEW:
I
had
a
terrible
experience
at
the
Ataköy
branch
of
this
hospital.
First
off,
I
had
to
pay
400
TL
(30
EUR)
more
than
the
price
the
English
translator
gave
me
over
the
phone,
because
when
I
changed
the
doctor
I
wanted
to
see,
the
translator
failed
to
mention
that
different
doctors
have
different
prices.
I
travelled
from
another
country
and
paid
the
hefty
consultation
fee
for
non-Turkish
patients
(1870
TL
-
125
EUR),
but
the
doctor
only
gave
me
about
15
minutes
of
his
time.
He
also
declined
to
see
my
previous
test
results
and
brain
scans.
The
lack
of
interest
made
me
feel
rushed
so
I
didn’t
get
to
ask
all
my
questions
and
left
without
gaining
any
knowledge
or
understanding
my
condition
any
better,
partly
because
of
the
language
barrier
as
the
translator
was
not
there
during
the
consultation.
Despite
the
fact
that
he
wasn't
present
during
my
appointment,
the
translator
requested
a
tip
on
the
side,
which
is
unprofessional.
And
finally,
I
asked
the
doctor
to
write
me
a
report
detailing
the
problem
with
my
eyes.
When
he
refused,
I
went
to
the
translator
and
asked
him
to
talk
to
the
doctor.
He
sent
me
a
report
which
only
included
my
eye
glass
prescription,
information
I
could
have
gotten
for
free
at
any
optician
in
my
own
country.
I
asked
the
translator
to
talk
to
the
doctor
again
about
sending
me
a
proper
report,
but
after
a
whole
week
of
following
up
and
endless
excuses
by
the
translator
about
the
snow
or
the
doctor
not
being
available,
I
discovered
that
the
doctor
had
no
intention
of
writing
that
report,
which
the
translator
knew
but
was
trying
to
cover
up.
When
you
travel
and
pay
this
much
money
to
see
a
doctor,
the
least
you
expect
is
for
the
doctor
to
show
some
interest
by
giving
you
enough
time
to
explain
your
concerns
and
look
at
your
previous
test
results,
and
to
write
you
a
simple
report
explaining
your
condition.
That
is
your
right
as
a
patient.
The
treatment
I
received
at
Dunyagöz
by
the
doctor
and
the
translator
is
totally
unacceptable.
It
was
a
very
transactional,
materialistic
experience
with
no
concern
for
the
patient.
My
visit
was
a
waste
of
time
and
money,
and
therefore
I
do
not
recommend
this
hospital
to
anyone
traveling
to
Turkey
for
medical
treatment.
The
state
hospitals
there
are
much
more
impressive.
