I
have
never
stayed
in
a
hotel
that
didn’t
have
some
protocol
in
place
for
late-night
guest
needs.
Our
bathroom
was
only
stocked
for
two
people,
though
the
room
held
four,
and
getting
extra
towels
and
washcloths
in
the
morning
before
housekeeping
came
in,
was
difficult.
I
had
to
justify
why
I
needed
the
towels
I
needed,
despite
how
many
people
were
actually
in
my
room.
I
needed
an
extra
pillow
one
night,
called
down
to
request
one,
and
was
told
housekeeping
was
closed
for
the
night.
I
asked
about
an
after
hours
protocol
for
guest
needs,
and
I
was
told
I
needed
to
speak
with
the
manager.
I
requested
she
come
to
the
phone,
and
I
was
asked
to
leave
my
room
to
come
down
to
the
office
and
request
the
manager,
because
she
could
not
step
to
the
phone.
And
another
morning,
the
toilet
was
stopped
up,
and
we
notified
them
of
it
immediately.
However,
my
family
had
to
wait
hours
before
someone
came
to
fix
it.
Maintenance
also
doesn’t
have
any
after
hour
protocols.
If
you’re
coming
in
after
a
9,
or
have
needs
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
don’t
come
here.
Kids
are
unpredictable
so
don’t
bring
them
here;
the
hotel
isn’t
setup
to
accommodate
needs
after
hours.
Lower
costs
shouldn’t
mean
bad
service.
