I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor and the experience was excellent from the time we arrived and up until the day we checked-out. The rooms are spacious, very clean and nice; the staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel is located very close to the waterfront and was in walking distance to several restaurants and entertainment spot. I also wanted to acknowledge and give a special recognition to Andrea who I believe is the manager over the kitchen crew that set up the daily hot breakfast. She accommodated my guest with his dietary preferences without him even asking if it could be made. I also loved the fact that I did not have to move my car until 5PM on the day of my checkout, which helped us with not needing to pay for additional parking within the area since we were not leaving immediately after we had checked-out. We were able to keep enjoying the downtown area and return to our car once we were done. We really enjoyed our stay and was extremely pleased with everything. I would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here and we definitely will return ourselves the next time we are in the area.

I stayed at this hotel overnight to attend a concert. It is beautiful on the inside. It is located on a busy one-way Street with the parking garage across the street or you can valet your car as long as you're not double parked which tends to be a bit of an inconvenience however, the valet staff was kind and accommodating. My room was nice clean and comfortable. My stay was very satisfying.

All of the staff members at the valet desk and the front desk were so nice and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a bit of a funky smell at first, but it was gone by the time we got back to the room at night. Breakfast was good with several options for everyone. Overall an enjoyable hotel experience and it's close (within walking distance) to so many of Baltimore's hot spots.

Hotel was very nice and clean, nice breakfast in the mornings, coffee or tea available 24 hours. You need room key to access lobby and have to scan room key once inside the elevators to access the room floors. There is valet available for $42 / day. Room was spacious, only odd thing was the placement of the bed but it wasn't uncomfortable. There is a small fridge, coffee pot and hair dryer in the room. The cleaning service is every other day unless you request it. There is a pool and fitness room. The location is a few blocks away from the inner harbor and convention center so can walk to any of those places. The front desk was very nice and friendly and Monica was always smiling and funny. ALL the staff were really nice and polite and deserve to be mentioned!

Our bathroom sink did not drain, but the room was clean and had standard amenities. The kids had fun in the pool downstairs, and they had make your own waffles at the breakfast station which the kids loved. It was fine for a couple of nights for our family while we were visiting for a swim meet. Typical budget lodgings.

Was super excited to stay at this hotel and picked it because of its great location and proximity to the inner harbor. The architecture inside and outside is so pretty & very historic. The front desk manager (Ralph) however managed to take away from our experience on the very first day. He couldn’t care to talk to a customer who was waiting in the lobby for 20 min for a valet. In his opinion, the customer should have come to him and asked for help instead of waiting for the valet. When my husband asked for help because of the long wait, Ralph tried to justify the long wait. My husband is a Diamond member and stays at Hilton hotels every week. He knows the ropes and understands good customer service and quick resolution of problems. Ralph kept trying to explain his point of view (regarding the long wait for parking) in an effort to argue his case and prove us wrong. Ralph also made a mention of the fact that my husband probably didn’t understand his explanation very well! Having travelled the world and having stayed at some of the best Hilton hotels, I can unequivocally say that this manager represented the hotel chain very poorly!!! Here’s a tip for Ralph: When a customer is unhappy about a situation, apologize and fix it instead of justifying yourself and then coaching the customer about what they should have done differently!! P.S. Received an email & phone call with management who apologized and tried to make it right…appreciate the effort!

Hampton inn saved my trip, was staying at a nearby hotel and stayed for the indoor pool unfortunately it was disgusting at the other hotel and called Hampton inn to switch hotels , the manager was great and insured me the cool was warm clean open and ready for the kids ! And it was, clean and warm ! Breakfast was delicious and much better then other hotel breakfast but was the same options. Hotel lobby was clean and pretty! Only thing I was change is having maybe security guard outside out the hotel doors, lots of homeless walking around asking for money and cigarettes, one jumped and yelled at me when I told them no sorry right outside of the hotel in the middle of the day and made me feel unsafe to leave at night. Also there is no parking and it’s 42$ a night to park for people that don’t know.

This hotel was wonderful. Very close to the harbor for walking. Our room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great! Many options to choose from to fill up before a long drive home. Coffee is good too! The staff was kind and helpful. No complaints, would definitely book again!

I started four nights at this Hampton Inn. It was conveniently close to the Inner Harbor. The front desk and staff were all friendly. Breakfast was good and predictable. However, I didn't get any housekeeping during my entire stay; even after requesting it in person at the front desk.

Let’s start with the positives. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the restroom was spacious, clean, and the water pressure was good. It’s very close to the harbor, restaurants, shopping areas so that’s great. Now the cons, valet is terrible. They’re barely at their post but having the QR should make things easier right? WRONG! They took forever bringing my car and the garage is directly across the street. One time I went down to get my car and the lady was leaving. I asked for my keys and she said, “I was just about to go home, my coworker was supposed to be over there”😂like are you serious? Thankfully, She turned around and gave me my keys but the coworker was no where in sight🤦🏿‍♀️We stayed for 2 nights and no one cleaned the room. Get breakfast as soon as they start because they run out fast!! We went back twice and there was no food. For 7 floors, you would think they would have no problem replenishing the food. I would give customer service a 0 if I could.

We will not stay anywhere else when in the Baltimore area. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Our room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. It was unexpectedly quiet, considering we were in the heart of the city.

Overall my family’s stay was good. However the breakfast buffet was not acceptable. The eggs contained ham which is discriminatory for people who don’t eat pork and would like to have just plain egg options. The muffins were stale and the juice was watered down. Also the so called vallet parking is unorganized. We let them know to have our vehicle ahead of time. We ended up waiting 30 mins once we got downstairs for them to bring us out car. If im paying $40 dollars for parking along with a $300 room I expect better service. My last complaint is that the indoor swimming pool is not heated. The kids were complaining that the water was cold. If you guys could correct the breakfast, parking, and pool I could recommend this hotel to someone. The room was comfortable. The amenities could improve. The gym was nice.

This is a decent hotel that was conveniently located for a conference I was attending. It is mostly on par with the better Hampton Inns, but I have a few concerns. The toilet kept running in my room. After flushing, I would need to wait a few minutes to jiggle the handle. I called the front desk, but the problem wasn't fixed. The fire alarm also went off when I was sleeping. In the fitness center, it would be nice if there were more than a few inches of clearance above the pull-up bar.

The rooms were nice but the bathrooms could use a little help. I had the water turned all the way up to hot in order to shower or it would have been too cold. I did like the full bottles of shower essentials on the wall. We wanted ice for our sodas but the ice was so dirty we sat out cans in it instead. The pool was ok because kids just don't care but it was far too cold for adults. On our last day there we told the kids we would go into the pool before we left..... Well, they had emptied the pool so we couldn't do that. With no lifeguards on duty and a pool schedule, why couldn't you do that during the closed hours? Breakfast was not yummy in my opinion but others may love it. I liked the coffee and others may not. I loved that they welcomed security, first responders, etc patrolling the neighborhoods to come in and eat. I would possibly stay again just because of the location to the inner harbor but I might also try the other side and stay closer to the science center. This is also close to the port discovery children's museum and I highly recommend going there. A bunch of the outlets in our room and in the pool area did not work. Overall a good stay

The rooms were clean. Helpful staff. Large rooms. Decently priced. I have no complaints. There is a parking garage right across the street.

I had a quite favorable experience during my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Their innovative, contactless check-in process sets the tone for a relaxed, convenient stay, complete with digital key access via an app. This digital-savvy approach extended to keycard-accessible facilities like the well-equipped gym, open round the clock, and the indoor pool—a particular hit with my family. The hotel room was clean and inviting, with comfortable beds and useful amenities like a microwave and a small refrigerator. Although the complimentary breakfast included in the package did not impress me with its taste, it served its purpose in providing a quick start to the day. Location-wise, the hotel sits conveniently within walking distance of attractions like the National Aquarium, a WW2 submarine, and various historical ships in the harbor. However, the surrounding area was less appealing—visitors should be prepared for occasional encounters with panhandlers and people under the influence of substances. Thankfully, the hotel prioritizes safety, with secure access to the main entrance during the night. The hotel does not offer self-parking, but valet parking is available at an additional cost. I found it more convenient and cost-effective to use one of the nearby public parking facilities. In conclusion, the Hampton Inn & Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor offered a comfortable, digitally convenient stay, albeit with minor drawbacks concerning the breakfast and surrounding area.

The hotel was extremely clean. Beds are about as comfortable as they can be for not being your bed at home. In walking distance from everywhere we went. Valet service was great, breakfast was enjoyable and kept stocked, very quiet with how busy the street is. My only complaint was the front desk. We checked in around 12, went to the aquarium and came back. We were splashed my the dolphins, walked in the rain and wanted to shower before dinner. Keeping in mind we’d want to shower in the morning before our 3 hour drive home, we stopped at the front desk asking for an extra set of towels for the morning. When we came to our room we had noticed our fridge was not working. I called the front desk to ask if there was a button we could press or if we were missing anything. As I was on the phone with the front desk they asked if we had any dirty towels they could take off our hands. We only had one hand towel used but I thought it was nice for them ask to make sure our room stayed neat. They promptly sent maintenance up and it was just unplugged. As the kind maintenance man left a woman brought up our towels and said something to the maintenance man along the lines of “they just checked in this afternoon and already are requesting more towels…” I guess she thought we had used all of our towels and was irritated we requested towels in advance. Regardless of her attitude, I think management should address with staff that the residents can hear their rude remarks from the hallway. It left a bad taste in our mouth. I didn’t realize a request of towels was such a big deal. Moral of the story- clean hotel, valet parking, walking distance to everything, good breakfast, comfortable rooms.

The location is great and in walking distance to the aquarium and restaurants. However, a few items to consider: 1. The swimming pool door didn't open with my key card.. I asked about it, and the attendant said you have to pull the door knob upwards. Ok...then maybe a sign that says that would help? Who pulls a door knob upward usually? 2. There is no vending machine, but they sell drinks and snacks downstairs. $3-$4 for a water bottle or a bag of chip. Maybe that's just the world we live in now. Consider taking some water. 3. Through the night, we smelled Marijuana seeping in our room. With a 4 year old and a 14 year old and a wife that received a procedure at the hospital...not pleasant!

Amazing experience all around. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and location was very convenient. Valet parking was a breeze. Darlene and Herbert were wonderful; they made our stay just that much better!

Positives, the room was clean and nice and the breakfast was adequate Negatives, the pool was DISGUSTING! Do not book this hotel for the pool it is gross. Valet, very nice but SLOW. Understaffed. Plan on an hour to get your car. Reached out to the hotel and to Hilton after our stay for assistance on a discount for the pool issue and they wouldn’t refund anything. They offered Hilton points but no one at Hilton can help me get access to my account which is apparently locked. So we basically booked this hotel specifically to use the pool and couldn’t and the customer service after the fact was very poor

Very well done! Exceptional place to stay. First time here and second visit to Baltimore. Lobby and room were clean, neat, well-organized and a pleasure to see and occupy. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and very good. I asked about using a luggage cart but the front desk ladies were unable to locate one for our use. One of the front desk ladies actually helped carry our baggage up to and into our third floor room. I have not experienced that level of dedication to customer service and I have traveled for many many years. This hotel is clearly run by folk who value their customers and the experience they provide. I can think of no words to adequately express my appreciation to this lady, her staff and this hotel. UNRESERVEDLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE VISITING THIS CITY! What a great place to stay... many thanks to you and your entire team.

I just finished a three night stay at this hotel and overall it was pleasant and I would stay here again. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfy, although I do wish there was maybe a couch to sit on instead of just uncomfy chairs. Was very clean though. Breakfast was free which is always a perk. And all the staff I spoke too were very friendly! It does seem that the computer systems are quite slow so it took a few extra minutes to check in and pay for snacks but no big deal. It was also very quiet each night which is nice.

The rooms here are quality with good beds and lots of space. The hotel was quiet as well, especially considering it was at capacity due to local events. Breakfast was plentiful, and the food had flavor. Valets did a nice job hustling, but management should've ensured more drivers were staffed on a day where the hotel was full. Overall, it was another quality stay!

I booked a short one night trip for my little girl’s first birthday party. The staff was great and notice it was just my two girls and I so they helped me out tremendously. Can’t thank them enough for being so kindhearted and professional. I would definitely recommend staying here when you travel. Rooms are definitely as advertised and very clean. I could smell the cleaning products. Very nice establishment and breakfast was great. I’ve stayed in plenty of Hilton hotels but so far this is my favorite stay. Definitely coming back. Thank you again

Everyone working at this hotel was so nice. Valet, front desk ladies, cooks, housekeepers, etc. The hospitality was on point. The rooms were super clean. The breakfast was fabulous every day. The location is PERFECT and just a short walk to the harbor. The pool was so warm and we had it to ourselves! We will stay here everytime we're in Baltimore now. Thank you so much for making our vacation so much more delightful.

The service was great, the room was nice, and free breakfast was also provided in the morning. The breakfast was great, they had waffles, eggs, sausages, different juices (Apple, Orange, Cranberry), fruits, yogurt. It was an actual breakfast. Being downtown, it's also close to some nice restaurants, within walking distance, 5 min or less. The price was also reasonable, it's a good value and they also have a pool indoor in the basement.

Clean, convenient and contemporary. Our family of 5 enjoyed the view from the grande windows in our suite. The room was expansive and modern. The beds and linen were comfy. The housekeeping and front desk teams were attentive and detail oriented. The pricing was competitive. We stayed 3 nights.

We stayed there at the beginning of this month and the staff was exceptional. Everyone was so kind and attentive, even the housekeeping staff. Our room was very clean and attractive. The breakfast was delicious, and best of all complimentary!

Very nice clean Hotel. The entire staff from the front desk staff to the breakfast staff, and house keeping people were very friendly and polite. Warm breakfast was nice as well, and not overcrowded. We would definitely stay again. Great location and 10 minute walk to the aquarium and 15 minute walk to Camden Yards.

Pros: location and safety measures in hotel Cons: Room Cleanliness is poor, breakfast is not good, if you are a vegan or vegetarian then you literally has zero options except hot coffee. Rest items served are either meat or not suitable for eating. Sleep quality average: bad pillows and ac in room took almost entire night to bring the room to 70F. Good luck with your booking and trip, I won’t choose again this facility. Staff and service: as you can expect in any other similar standard hotel, not exceptional or great.

We had a great experience for the new year. The staff was friendly and courteous, the location is in close proximity to the center, the room was clean and well-kept. The valet staff was efficient and delivered service with a smile. Breakfast was served daily and the staff was helpful and courteous. My only issue was that the room we stayed in had no microwave. I recommend getting the King suite with sofa pull-out bed or the two Queen beds suite etc. The King suite we were in did not have a microwave and so we had to go to the lobby to heat food up. We enjoyed the amenities especially the indoor pool and gym and the added bonus was the aesthetics for our Christmas and New Year's family photos. Will visit again perhaps in the summer when the season changes.👍

The overnight front desk staff was completely unprofessional as well as rude. There’s no need to ask for a request or specific accommodations while making reservations; they don’t read it (had to change rooms because of so). Also “housekeeping” disturbs your experience prior to check out time. Which is still unknown to me. Someone disturbed our checking out process to clean the room at 10:30 ??? 10/10 this review will not even remain posted considering they have a filter to clear out any negative reviews! For the record this wasn’t even the Hampton inn we believed we had booked! Never again! Also, they had corporate walking around and discussing issues about this establishment while guests (myself and others) were present. I should’ve checked out right then and there to avoid this whole aggravation. Would rate this establishment as non listed below!

My friends and I came down for a concert. We decided to do Vale Parking The guy Ashley that greeted us was very nice first he says good evening then asked if we had stayed here before? Gave us instructions where to go check in at. Even went as far as telling us how to get to the Sound Stage where we were going!! We were greeted my all staff as we walked in highly recommend. This place. Its definitely worth doing Vale parking!! Will be back to stay here again

Our family checked into the hotel and we were greeted by Nick the valet and then my Brittany. Both were very courteous and friendly and helped us with our car and luggage (6 of us!). The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel is close to the ball park were we took in a game. Kudos to both Brittany and Nick for making our stay wonderful and worry free.

One of the best HI & Suites I have ever stayed in! Room was quiet, bed was soft, could barely hear any outside noise. Perfect place to stay after my flight out of BWI was canceled. Loved that this hotel was in walking distance to restaurants and cool places to visit like rhe aquarium and historic ships.

Excellent accommodations and amenities! Exactly the experience we were hoping for. We loved the personal attention to detail and warm welcome that they showered on us upon our arrival.

Very nice hotel, beds were very comfy, bathroom was huge and very nice and the room was perfect size. Breakfast in the morning was good, people are slobs, not the fault of the staff. They did a great job of trying to keep the place neat and tidy. My only complaint was parking was $62 for about a 36 hour stay.

  • 5/5 Beth A. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are spacious and so comfortable. Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizers are readily available and the staff were constantly cleaning. The hotel lobby is gorgeous. It is very conventiently located and an easy walk to the Inner Harbor. We walked everywhere with 5 people of very different agility levels without any problems.

Spacious room with good bed. Quiet despite being down town. Super quick check in. Breakfast which is part of the formula is basic was really basic with no good coffee paper plates and not many healthy and fresh choices other than a banana for a hotel which was 400$ Per night. There are very little restaurants that offer proper breakfast in the neighborhood as alternative. I would not stay here again.
