My
girlfriend
and
I
moved
to
Erlangen,
Germany
last
year
(from
Canada)
and
were
feeling
a
bit
homesick.
We
found
this
place
online
and
decided
to
get
some
poutine
for
Canada
day.
It
was
by
far
the
best
poutine
we've
ever
had
outside
of
Montreal.
Despite
not
having
access
to
cheese
curds,
it
was
astonishingly
delicious.
We
had
a
chat
with
the
owner,
Ben,
who
to
our
surprise
was
also
a
Canadian.
It
may
just
because
we're
feeling
homesick,
but
talking
with
him
was
even
better
than
the
food.
He
was
very
nice,
bringing
out
a
table
for
us,
chatting
with
us
after
we
ate,
and
even
offering
to
show
us
the
city.
Ben's
classic
Canadian
warm
personality
and
fantastic
food
made
this
one
of
the
best
experiences
we've
had
in
Germany
so
far.
If
you've
never
had
poutine
before,
or
if
you're
just
craving
some
good
food,
this
is
absolutely
the
place
for
you.
It
is
very
rare
that
you
find
a
place
that
has
food
that
matches
the
hospitality
(in
a
good
way).
If
you
are
in
Bamberg,
or
are
even
just
near
by,
do
yourself
a
huge
favour
and
go
to
The
Box.
It
changed
our
entire
perspective
of
the
city
of
Bamberg.
