A delight … we brought back hundreds of orchid stems - and huge exotic stems that barely fitted in the cab of Heliconia. Amazing. Notice how many different ways lotus petals can be folded … it’s hectic and intense and you may wish to negotiate prices - but that is part of the experience … we loaded the trunk of a car with orchids … took home many lotus flowers. A memorable moment, one of the florists on the street handed us a lotus flower with a big smile! Welcome !

Such a joy to go through this market. I bought flowers for my hotel room! I was that happy to see so many fresh flowers and affordable. A great stop while in Bangkok.

Pak Khlong Talar Bangkok Flower Market is a great place to visit and stop to smell the roses... Stalls and shops up on shops of fresh cut flowers to suit all tastes. Proves vary throughout the market places and the best deals can be had from flowers outside and farthest from the entrances. Roses, lilies, sunflowers, peonies, carnations and more. There are sizes, colors and bunches to fit any budget. Pre-made bouquets are also available to deliver on Grab or Lineman. Pak Khlong Talar gets busy after lunchtime so come early to get the best prices and selection.

Fantastic market not only for flowers, but also spices, inexpensive Old Style Thai desserts, and a pretty good bowl of noodles. Very nice and helpful vendors really surprised me. The entire place acts like they are more than just working in the same location. A great place that I never thought of going to before, but from now on I will make a point of visiting again, if I find myself in that part of town.

2023.9.24 2pm. 🌼flower market. 🚊 public transportation: I exit at the Sanam Chai station of the Metro and walked to the market by 10 minutes. It was the least popular in the afternoon according to locals. I’ll visit there in the evening and bring some flower bouquets and flower pedals back to hotel next time I visit Bangkok. 🌹I recommend to walk around inside and surround the market about 30 minutes and 1 hour. ✅ open hour: 24 hours; the most popular time is midnight when the hawkers ship and buy flower materials; locals like to go there in the evening.

I really love this market even it hard to find the parking lot in day time so I'm strongly recommend going on night time. Less pollution new and fresh flower alway comes during night time. A side from sightseeing if you would if to make your own bouquet you and find all you need here approximately good time this kind of shop open about 5:00-18:00 Perfect time to go there about 11pm - 3 am you will see a lot of flower and street food as well. You will not see variety of food but it reasonable price and authentic Thai street foods. Suitable time is not should be over than 1 am -1:30 am Should you own perfect time then enjoy flowering land.

This is a huge flower and veggie market very close to the MRT station. I like flowers well enough, but I don't think I'm crazy enough about them to fully appreciate the scale of this place. Especially since it's primarily for those buying wholesale. It was nice to walk around, though, and see the beautiful variety of flowers 💐 . I went on a weekday morning, and it was calm, with not too many people wandering around. I'd suggest popping in here if you're already in the area to jump on the water taxi, but I don't know if I'd consider it a Bangkok "Must see".

You can't help but be amazed. It's amazing what they make out of flowers. What is of course not to be despised are the many different rumors that can be heard there. All in all, the fresh flower market is an absolute must when visiting Bangkok. Entry is free and really worth seeing.

We visited as part of a Bangkok Cycle tour. Well worth a visit if you're nearby. Apparently one of the largest flower markets in the world. Lots of lotus, marigold and jasmine for offering to Buddha.

Surprise! There are flower markets everywhere - but nothing like this!!! Hugely large, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the halls and on both sides of the streets flowers, flowers, flowers. The visit is really worth it.

Stroll your way during night time and enjoy not only the wide variety of local flowers, the subtle scent of jasmine, and local delicacies. At the end of the street, you'll find the entrance to Chinatown. This is a busy street so i prefer exploring the area by walking and take your time (maybe buying some discounted but still beautiful flowers) instead of taking the bike tour.

Wow this place is unreal. I have never seen so much flowers up for sale at such a wholesale amount. A lot of the flowers are prepared for offerings for religious purposes and from what I can read the history of this particular flower market dates back to 1782, of which according to various sources this area has changed from fisheries to flowers a couple of times. Nevertheless this place is beautiful, packed with locals who have been doing this trade through generations. The flowers are also at very reasonable prices, you must visit if you can it is very close to the Grand Palace.

If this isn't one of the most amazing flower markets in the world, then I don't know what is (Hong Kong, maybe?). More of a factory really, they supply flowers to all retail outlets in the greater Bangkok vicinity. I can't imagine where all of this is grown, but it is fun to be able to simply walk through the huge manufacturing facility which processes it all, and distributes it to local trucks and tuk tuk's waiting to purchase them. I should mention that there are some very beautiful locals working the line here.

Being close to the temples, it makes it easy to visit it in a trip that includes them too. Yet I wouldn’t spend so much time in it, due to the lack of variety. There are some beautiful flowers though not so many different species. I’d say that 30 minutes is more than enough to immerse yourself inside of it. In the complex can also be found different kind of vegetables and fruits. Not a place full of tourists makes it a place with some good local vibes.

I stopped in here before visiting Wat Pho and stayed less than am hour. It’s a very clean open air market with a selection of vegetables and fruit at the back of the building. If you go to Wat Pho after being here you will see that this is a wholesale market and then the smaller shops around the Wat sell this product in the stalls and smaller flower market. Pak Khlong is for buying in bulk although you can find individual bouquets and garlands.

The biggest flower market in Thailand. There are cheapest and best flowers from around the world, and also the original Thai flowers, flower garlands and Thai traditional bouquets. If you are tourist, it’s really worth to visit, especially in the morning.

Step into Bangkok's flower market, a captivating world of ice-cooled blooms. The vivid colors and delicate fragrances create a sensory symphony, while meticulously crafted flower garlands tell tales of celebration. Amidst the market's hustle, the gentle swirl of incense smoke adds a soothing touch. It's a haven where nature's artistry and Bangkok's spirit unite, offering a fleeting escape into a realm of vibrant tranquility.

Very instagrammable, affordable flower maker just off the Yodpiman pier. So many different types of flowers in every colour imaginable. The streets around the market are lined with flower sellers too so don’t forgot to venture a little further. Says it’s open 24 hours but lots of sellers tend to close up around 7pm so might not be as vibrant if you go later in the evenings. Street food available too which is usually very good especially if the smells are anything to go by [I didn’t eat food here]

Bustling local flower and fruit market. Predominantly for temple/shrines. It's great to see a slice of local life and everyone is so friendly. Some bargains to be had too and don't forget to negotiate. When finished can get the bus or the boat

There is a lot of activity on the market. Many colorful flowers can be discovered. Behind the flower market there are still fruits and vegetables. Here small wreaths (offerings) are tied onto the.

It’s like walking into a flower garden. This is a must-go place if you are near the Grand Palace or the reclining Buddha. The market is full of different kind of flowers beautifully decorated in the form of garlands.

The review is for this area including this Pak Khlong Talat. Very lively street with lots of flower shop as well as the markets on both sides of the street. We saw lots of craftsmanship with leaf folding and arranging it for Buddhist praying. A wide variety of flowers are found on the street and the other side of the street, (ICP MARKET?). Bought a few selections and colours of orchids which are absolutely gorgeous. Price is so cheap - 50-80 Baht for a sizable bunch. Would like to return in a few weeks to replace flowers at home.

I went there with an expectation that it will be a big flower market, but it is not that big however it will give you good gist of how local market looks and local vegetables experience. It can be easily accessible via bus.

Love it, this is a real flower market with thousands of fresh orchids, lotus, and other flowers. And all flowers are extremely cheap!

Beautiful market, perfect for the 'gram and all shutterbugs! Especially late when the trucks from the outer provinces arrive with the next days' goods, and the tourist hordes depart. Its just you, the Thais and massive piles of flowers!🌼🌸🏵 Smells way better than the fish market too!🤣

After I was here last year, I had to visit again. It's just impressive how many beautiful flowers there are here. They are all fresh and it smells great. The prices vary greatly depending on what you are looking for. There are also a few stands and shops with seeds. Unfortunately, what you can't get here are plants to plant in the garden.

As a flower lover, I had a really fun time visiting this place. Too bad the street stalls weren't opened because the cops were patrolling. Regardless the varieties of flowers were amazing and no wonder, this place is the 2nd largest flower market in the world.

Massive flower market that’s open 24 hours apparently. Was part of our Airbnb tour and it was pretty great. Fun place to check out.

  • 5/5 Gabriel L. 1 year ago on Google
A very large flower market with hundreds of flower vendors. Many of which create intricate, hand-woven flowers and arrangements. The hand-weaving of flowers is unlike anything I’ve ever seen at any other flower market in the world. This is definitely worth a visit while in Bangkok!

  • 4/5 Ashley C. 1 year ago on Google
The market is easy and quick to get to from the metro. It is primarily wholesale, but you can purchase smaller amounts. Fun to wander among the vendors, very few tourists around.
