One week ago I got to know that, Shamim Sikder Foundation is arranging a meeting with some renowned artists and curators about the issue of its well-being including membership, workshop, short course, open gallery and other activities. One of the member of that Foundation invited me to participate in that meeting. When I came to the spot, I became so surprised watching the atmosphere of the Foundation where the garden is full of trees and flowers with lots of her sculptures displayed with an arrangement. Some beautiful wooden sculptures is in the room which are well decorated. This Foundation is planning to organize some workshops on wall painting, terracotta, batik and curator writing development. There would be an artcamp and exhibition which I liked most. I am personally inviting all to come and visit this place.

If there have been recent developments in Dhaka's art and cultural scene, including the establishment of a National Sculpture Gallery or a Shamim Sikder Centre in Eskaton, I recommend checking local sources or official websites for the most up-to-date and accurate information about these institutions and their contributions to the arts and culture of Dhaka.

It was a nice experience. What I really like was the vibe. All were drinking tea, some doing artwork. It was really a cheerful and artistic vibe they had. I got a book too. They are going to renovate the place and make it more organised as I heard from them. Best wishes for them and the gallery. ❤️❤️❤️
