It's a great place to roam around. Nice tea garden, rubber forest. Be careful about snakes, sliding from height. Here, you need to be aware of local people who may irritate you during site seeing or entering into tea garden with asking for money for entering unwanted areas of their tea garden.

This is a beautiful place beside Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. The tea garden is a perfect place for a short visit. There is nothing except the little tea garden and small hills. You will be heartbroken if your expectation about this place is so high.

One of largest tea garden in Sylhet. Mind blowing environment, wide road, and canal make this garden very attractive. Here is also rubber garden which gives you a new experience. You can watch how to make tea in the factory directly. But in this case, you need to take official permission from the factory manager. I along with my colleague usually visit this tea garden twice a week. We enjoy a lot.

This place is not very far from the main city and you can easily go there on a CNG autorickshaw that will take 20 taka per person. An organization of the Bangladesh Cricket Board is there. However, you cannot enter that place. You can explore the tea garden as long as the caretaker permits you. However, do not explore alone at night as there might be some bad people at that time. There are some shops selling snacks and tea inside the facility. You can spend time with your friends and family.

Natural beauty. Tea garden full of natural beauty and hill. Lakkatura Stadium also built here by cutting hill. I went there at 11.00 am. I was perfect time if you visit in the evening. When power of sun get down. I saw there, some boys and Girls (May BF/GF) gossiping upper of the hill. It is so much dangerous. Be careful. Because pickpocketing also happened here sometimes. You should careful all-time. It should better if you go there with a group such as 3/4/5 people’s. Not go there alone.

Sylhet is known as the land of tea. Lakkatura tea garden is located on the hill at the northern edge of Osmani Airport in Chowkidekhi Upazila of Sylhet District. This government tea plantation under the National Tea Board covers an area of about 1293 hectares or about 3200 acres. Lakkatura tea garden is one of the largest tea gardens in the country surrounded by numerous tea trees and high rolling hills. Annually around 500,000 kg of tea produced from this tea garden is exported abroad to meet the domestic demand.

Lakkatura Tea Garden is a few minutes from the center of Sylhet. The easiest way to get to the estate is by CNG (a kind of autorickshaw used all over Bangladesh). Upon arrival at Lakkatura, you can either report to the main office, where you can hire a guide or listen to a lecture about the Lakkatura Tea Garden, or you can wander around the garden by yourself. It is not rare to come across newlyweds having their wedding pictures taken at the picturesque tea garden.
