My
family
and
I
used
to
go
to
the
Keg
all
the
time
but
ever
since
I’ve
turned
vegan,
obviously
it
is
not
a
place
I
would
frequent
now.
However,
my
family
informed
me
that
they
now
had
vegan
options
on
the
menu
whereas
before
they
were
nonexistent.
So
I
read
over
their
new
menu
and
was
happy
to
see
a
couple
of
vegan/plant
based
options
for
entrees
and
so
I
agreed
to
go
dine
there.
When
placing
our
orders,
I
asked
our
server
if
the
Mediterranean
Cauliflower
is
indeed
vegan,
as
it
shows
on
the
menu
(because
you
never
know)…
and
he
informed
me
that
he
was
under
the
assumption
that
it’s
vegetarian,
and
not
vegan,
but
that
he
would
double
check
with
the
kitchen.
He
came
back
and
confirmed
that
it
is
NOT
vegan,
and
that
they
put
some
sort
of
dairy
in
it
with
the
cauliflower!!!
I
told
him
that
some
people
won’t
even
double
check
and
will
order
this
item
thinking
that
it’s
vegan
when
in
fact
it
is
not.
And
he
said
he
would
inform
management
regarding
the
matter.
So
I
am
writing
this
review
to
caution
those
who
are
vegan
to
always
ask
and
double
check
these
so
called
vegan
labelled
options
on
menus!
I
feel
bad
for
those
who
have
ordered
it
thinking
that
it
was
vegan.
I
ended
up
ordering
the
Vegetarian
Meatloaf,
which
was
just
alright…
the
meatloaf
texture
was
too
soft
and
cauliflower
mash
was
tasteless.
You
could
easily
invest
in
some
vegan
butter
which
isn’t
hard
to
find,
and
add
some
salt
as
well.
But
please
do
better,
The
Keg!
It’s
great
that
you’ve
added
plant
based
options
but
you
can’t
be
labelling
things
plant
based
when
they
are
in
fact,
not
👎🏼
