From the outside this restaurant looks small, but when you walk in you are welcomed by a beautifully decorated decorum. Plants and mood lights giving it an exotic feel. Especially the indoor bit with a sky roof, making the restaurant much bigger when you get shown to your table. The sharing steak platter was amazing, not cooked to exactly what we wanted but still tasted amazing. And the sides and sauces were incredible too.

We had a lovely one night stay and meal here. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Our room was quiet at nighttime and we slept well. Breakfast was great too. Highly recommended!

Went for a meal with friends. Ate in the conservatory room. Pretty decor and lights made for nice atmosphere. Found menu difficult to read, small print and limited lightning. Food was really nice, and service spot on. Waitress extremely helpful. Lovely evening. Would recommend.

This is a lovely quirky little place tucked away in the corner of the market place in Barton Upon Humber. The service was initially a little slow in getting our drinks order but it was busy so understandable, and once our order was taken the waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was extremely good and I will definitely eat here again. The only reason I have marked this down is they are still serving food on hanging skewers, which is very outdated and impractical, and causes the food to go cold swinging in the breeze! My friend nearly didn't order the monk fish because of this but was so glad he did as it was delicious, and looked much nicer once it was on the plate with the rest of his meal. Please management, get rid of these awful plates, your wait staff will thank you as they are very difficult to carry. All in all a great evening out, just make sure you try the ale.

A walk in dinner for one as I walked past and saw it was open. Varied and delicious menu at a reasonable price. Good service, friendly and efficient.

Had a fabulous pre birthday/ anniversary meal ! Great food, lovely restaurant and fab cocktails. Just an excellent time with fab customer service too, can’t wait to return ! They even wrote in chocolate for us on our puddings !!

We booked a last minute trip, and randomly picked Imaginarium. Best random booking, ever. From start to finish, we had the best stay. The room was lovely, comfortable bed, decent shower. The whole place was modern and fresh, and loads of fine details. (We accidentally met the resident doggies, and even they gave us a warm welcome). The restaurant was amazing. Staff were welcoming and looked after us so well, Lee and his wife have a great team. The absolute best part of the trip was the food. We ate dinner and breakfast. We had a sharing platter of steak and it was more than enough for 2 adults and a hungry child, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Breakfast was another level. The best eggs Benedict I've had in a long time. My child had a freshly made waffle, full pots of tea and coffee and a generous carafe of orange juice. We will definitely come.back again, thank you for a lovely mothers day treat. ❤

My 2nd visit to this gorgeous, quaint little eatery. A beautiful little place that does amazing vegan options. I had the vegan full English breakfast, was able to swap ingredients in and out. (Swapped the vegan black pudding for smashed avocado 🥑). This is my favourite eatery on Barton, so lucky to have this on our doorstep. Portion size was generous and very filling. Was greeted with a smile and very warm welcome on my entry into the establishment. Had the option of where I wanted to sit. Chose the garden room, fabulous decor, nothing to fault. Staff are very attentive, not overly. Prices are reasonable. No more than I'd expect to pay for the quality and quantity of food and service. Will not be my last visit. Chef did say that they are looking to increase their vegan footfall, which is only a bonus in my eyes. Thank you for a much needed excellent breakfast!

Went for a meal on a Friday evening. The service was polite and pleasant, but I suspect they didn't have enough staff on in the kitchen. Our meals took 40 minutes to come out. All our meals were badly cooked and the steak I ordered was overcooked and dry as a result. The sides were fine but by this point I was too hungry to point out how rubbish the steak was. Price wise it wasn't too bad, but if you don't know how to manage a kitchen don't have a ridiculously big menu that you clearly can't prep a service for. And if you don't know how to cook a simple steak, just don't bother, please! If you want a cheap meal, you might risk it on a quiet day, but if you want a decent meal, don't bother.

We only found out about this place a few weeks ago the staff was very friendly the service was first class and the meal was one of the best I've tasted in a long time we will definitely making a second visit 😋

My first time at this restaurant after a recommendation from my daughter. The most beautiful venue, relaxing, lovely friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Food took a while to come because they where busy and everything is fresh but worth the wait. One of the best meals I have had. Prices are a little higher than some places but you get what you pay for, great fresh food, lovely setting and lovely staff. What more could you ask for?! Without hesitation, I recommend Imaginarium to anyone.

Went tonight for the wacky Wednesday, exceptional value for money, food delicious, staff very professional and attentive. Highly recommended, can't wait to go again.

Had Saturday evening dinner with visiting family and it was lovely. Surroundings are great and food is excellent. Good choice of drinks and cocktails too. Looking forward to going back again.

Booked for breakfast last Sunday, the place is cute and nice. We ordered steak and eggs and a full English but were later advised there was no steak so ordered 2 x full English. Was asked if we’d like black pudding and said yes. Breakfast took 45 minutes to come out and there was only us and 1 other couple in there they had come in after us got served and eaten before ours came out. When it did come out the black pudding was missing and they didn’t bring out the toast either, by that time we’d waited so long we just wanted to eat up and go. The food was nice when it finally came out but wouldn’t go back, for 2 full English and 2 coffee’s glass of juice £36ish. Thought it was a bit pricey with service and items missing.

One of our favourite go-to places, the Imaginarium always delivers. The food is great and this is an excellent venue for both parties and an intimate couples date night. The crispy pork starter is a must try!!

Had a lovely meal here. Service was a bit slow but the staff were friendly and helpful- they weren't overly busy so the slowness in service was a bit of a let down to be honest. Food however was delicious- kudos to the chef!

Second time in two weeks and we rarely go back somewhere so soon. Great food, even if I found the strawberry cloud desert weird. Tasted great though.

Firstly we would like to thanks everyone who served us from walking through the doors to eating our meal. The staff are fantastic and made us feel so welcome. We stayed the night in one of the restaurants rooms which again is clean, comfortable. The restaurant itself is stunning and the food…. Well the food is next level! Just wow! Service is amazing honestly we cannot tell you how great our meal and stay is. Thank you so much to the manager we will be back again for sure and telling all our friends and family about you. Xx

Booked a table on the recommendation of a friend and we are so glad we did. This place is deceptively large! Lovely atmosphere and deco, the staff are also really good at their jobs. Pollyanna our waitress was lovely and did a great job. Would definitely recommend coming to this hidden gem

We ate here recently for my wife’s Birthday, pleased we got a booking at late notice. Great atmosphere, service was just the right speed. The prawn and the pulled pork starters we both enjoyed- our mains were both the bistro steak, cooked perfectly as a medium rare, drenched in gorgonzola sauce, we both loved it, quality steak as well We haven’t stayed overnight as we live 5 miles away. But we will certainly return for food again Recommended

I great place to meet and share an evening with friends and family. The food is excellent and the staff are stars. Recommended.

This is a little Gem of a place and easy to miss tucked away near the Corn Exchange in Barton-on-Humber. The tiny frontage opens up to a space that was a big surprise to us, offering cosy and comfortable areas and then moving into the lovely enclosed garden/courtyard dinning area. The food was OUTSTANDING and also presented to a high standard all at fair prices. The service was efficient and friendly. At present this place is not dog friendly, but I understand that may change in the future. There are also B & B rooms available above, but cannot comment on those as not used.

Meat dry. Burger dry. Chips dry. Non of it was any good. Plus over priced. Slow. First time we haven't finished our food. Taken it home for the dog instead. £4.10 for a coke!

A gem of a place. Small entrance but opens up significantly inside. Lovely feature inside wall with different ivy's and other plants. Food and service excellent and value for money too.

1st time coming here as was recommended by friends who live in Barton and are regulars. Did not disappoint! Food was beaut I have the hanging skewer and my partner had the ribs. Really nice and value for money. Deco and the mood of the restaurant was really relaxed. Service was great, very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again. Try and get a seat in the 'outside' bit as its really nice atmosphere.

Cannot fault this place atall fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere and fantastic service, also extremely accomodating for my vegan diet and a lovely dessert treat for us for our anniversary. Would highly recommend one of the delicious cocktails too. Will definitely be returning. Overall a delightful experience.

Wonderful restaurant with great food. Slightly pricey, but you certainly get what you pay for, which is quality. We also took a room for the night. Lovely, clean and comfy. The breakfast was amazing and they catered well for my 5 year old daughter who's a bit fussy with her food. Superb.

Great place to go for a meal out, one of the best settings I have seen for a restaurant. The staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing. The food was amazing and it can be a little pricey but very much worth it. Even when it got quite busy in the restaurant, the waiter still tended to our needs and overall a great experience, would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely gorgeous food! We’ve been for brunch this morning and it was the nicest brunch we have ever had. Really reasonable value, not expensive at all. Very tasty, everything fresh. We tried the full English and our kids loved the waffles and pancakes. Quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. We can’t wait to return! A real gem for Barton to have this fabulous eatery ! X
