This borders neighboring farm land. No trail signs at intersecting paths, and there are a few. There is a map at the entrance and in an enclosed case at one point along the route, but its so faded it can't be read. Other than that, the preserve is quiet and relatively clean. Most of the path is wide but narrows into single track in some places.

Nice πŸ‘πŸΌ place for morning or evening jogging πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ, walking and running πŸƒ. Pleasant peaceful place for mediation. Nice scenery of lake and bird chirping. Notices indicate that this is a quite old glacier place. Nice to go here for a fresh oxygen. It’s best place for low mood times or if you are tired or stressed to feel refresh air (with better oxygenated air) that makes life lighter and beautiful. I prefer early morning visit.

Great for a nice hike. Be careful on the trails with tall grass; we have encountered lots of ticks.

Great place to walk around and just enjoy nature. Took my son for a long walk, the trails are awesome, we'll maintained and tons of things to see. Beautiful wetlands, long trails for running, walking, and even benches to sit. I'll be back in the future for sure.

Great place to see wildlife. Here are just a few examples. Bring a water bottle and you’ll be fine. I saw a garter snake too but didn’t get any pictures

Plenty of sun exposure and plenty of poop on the trail. Fantastic views of the prairie. We saw a giant bone and several unique species of birds. Bring sunscreen and bug spray!

My husband and I are from Chicago. We came out to Batavia for a long weekend. We discovered this beautiful forest preserve that has a large variety of kind of walks. Some parts are paved. Some parts are grass. It was a very beautiful walk. Thank you so much can county forest preserve for restoring this farmland to prairie.

πŸ‘ The park has a few nicely paved and maintained walking paths through a thin layer of trees and along the water, with many spots to stop and enjoy the creek. πŸ‘πŸ‘ An absolutely wonderful park. They have clean restrooms, a neat little obstacle course, and some nice paths for walking and biking. I suggest going out on the boardwalk to check out the marshy areas by the river They are doing some construction here, but most of it is accessible.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Gem of a museum that has a small collection of warbirds, several of which fly. This has been the best experience ever of visiting such a museum. Firstly, there are no barriers, which means one can view spaces inside the aircraft unimpeded. Secondly, the lighting is good enough that one doesn't requi...
